I had solved a few puzzle caches in anticipation of a visit to WA and made the most of the good weather today to try and find a few, including this one, north of Perth.
Thanks Blackrat1414 for the puzzle and the cache.
Thanks Blackrat1414 for the puzzle and the cache.
A rare free day for caching. So hasty plans were put in place to meet WebblyWA & go track down some of our growing pile of solved puzzles. I particularly enjoyed working on the puzzle. TFTC
Public holiday means no work and a day to empty out the solved puzzles pile with PommieParkin2. We left bright and early to escape the heat and travelled NOR on our holiday visas. This was our furtherest North solved cache and a quick find except I nearly poked my eye out on some barbed wire but luckily my glasses saved me, if I had been watching where I was going it would of been even better. PP2 just laughed, it didn't worry her at all, it went over her head I guess [:p]
TFTC and puzzle Blackrat1414 all is good here.

Thank you for the puzzle. Went about it completely wrong until I discussed it with a friend who suggested something different.
I hade solved this puzzle a while ago, and had a good lesson in history with it. So today, along with megawat60, we had an enjoyable walk and a quick find of this nice cache. TFTC Blackrat1414!
Nice to have had this under the belt for awhile and nice to be able to do a few BR's today while waiting for a client at work and getting driven around by m4yb.
Nice walk to GZ thanks for the cache Blackrat1414.

Out picking up a few solved puzzles on Anzac Day 2015! Found with Minergal! TFTC!
Number 300 for me. Nice puzzle cache solved by my partner in crime, the Fabulous Panda and found by myself. The cache was out in the open but put it back in a likely spot and covered with natural vegetation. TFTC ☺
I was determined to find this one today while venturing a little further north
Parked not far away and made my way to GZ. Looked around for a couple of minutes while gps got it's bearings then found the cache.
I even brought my tank pen with me after reading the previous log but there was no long inside the cache
I quickly wrote on a bit of paper I found in my bag and put this in the cache, hope that will be ok
I also took a photo of the inside of the cache
Put it all back and covered with a little more stuff from the surrounding area
TFTC Blackrat. Finally I got here

We needed to find a puzzle cache today so we picked this one up on the way to the event.
The geohubby solved this ages ago and last year i attempted to get it but there was a music festival on. Today we parked the car and did the short walk to GZ. the cache was quickly found but unfortunately the log book is soaking wet. Lucky we had the tank pen so we could still sign our name in the book. Solved this one fairly easily at lunchtime today, and it was a quick grab at GZ once the GPS settled under the trees. A favourite point from me, I didn't know half the names of our former PMs so I learnt something. TFTC
Nice, easy puzzle. So many possibilities for what you could do with them Prime Ministers, trial and error as they say.
Nice hide although quite visible.

I thought I would find 5 local mystery caches to take me up to my milestone of 500 cache finds. This is #4 of 5 and was another quick puzzle to solve this afternoon. It reminded me of a high school assignment I did on Edmund Barton many, many years ago. Of all my finds over the past 5 months since I started geocaching, BR1414 holds number 3 spot on my lists of cache finds by owner so I thought it was fitting that I should find one of his mystery caches in my run to 500. Quick find here for 499. tftc.
Found a good sight that helped out well. Nice walk to gz. Easy find on a glorious day. TFTC
Great little education on our nation's past leaders. One great aspect of geocaching. SL TFTC Blackrat
Another one that has been solved and sat on the 'to do' list for a while. Well with the caching streak to keep alive (day 75) and less and less caches near home to collect, it had to be prime numbers today. Just that dastardly 'first one' of yours to find and we can wipe the Joondalup estate off the radar! TFTC.
Enjoyed the puzzle. An easy find once the GPS settled down. Thank you for the cache!
Woo Hoo - The first time I have managed to make it to this site in a long time when there hasn't been a bridal party or other group getting in the way of some good old fashioned geocaching.
I had already headed down to bold park this morning to get a couple of August challenge caches, the Bold Park Earth Cache and then the Sudoku puzzle down near the beach. After getting all the info for the Earth Cache, I headed down to the shore, only to find that the cache site was now a major earthworks operation... Blast!!!
So, what other puzzles have I solved and should be easy to find... One of the very first puzzles that I solved, and got my daughter to also solve to test her logical thinking and pattern matching.
After parking a a quick walk to GZ, I had the cache in hand and the log signed. Thanks for helping me achieve another August challenge.

I solved this one a couple of months ago but there's been a temporary fence around it. Finally got an opportunity this arvo to go and get it. Thanks Blackrat.

Have been in these northern reaches for a few days, but heading home today with long ago solved puzzle finding being the priority.
Found the cache in the obvious spot, but the TBs seem to all have vanished!
Thanks for the history lesson and the cache Blackrat1414.

First puzzle cache attempt and find. Geo wife has ran past this spot a thousand times while doing hero warm up run for her gym/chatting with friends sessions. She has even dragged me past it a couple of times. Took TB and left TB
Thanks BlackRat
Thanks BlackRat
Detoured on my way out shopping, bit of a walk but rewarded with a quick find. Dropped 2 TB's, TFTC Blackrat!
Find 14 of 19 today. After solving this puzzle back in April (with the help of what I had learnt in my History class about PM's), we finally got down this way to grab the cache. Quick find once we arrived at GZ, signed the log and soon moved on. TFTC
Solved last night in preparation for our adventure in the area. As swimmers, Meegs and I are familiar with the chlorine smell coming from the nearby arena. Thanks for the cache.
What an awesome way to celebrate our 100th cache. TFTC!!! We decided on this over lunch. Got the kids to play in the park while Mr & Mrs B tried to solve the puzzle. Good learning curve for us as we are not too clued up on the political history. Found the GZ with no problems. Parking was a problem cause of all the muggles. But we got there eventually!
Solved the puzzle weeks ago and found that the location was pretty close to home so Katie the geo-dog and I thought today might be a good day to go for a geo-walk. Had a leisurely 2 km walk. Found the cache quite quickly, took a tb, now heading home. Thanks for the cache Blackrat
Dropped off 3 TBs...
Thanx to GHFB for the Pathtag... Mine still in development stage.

Looked at this during a quiet nightshift. I sought the help of some of my true blue colleagues who readily identified some including Harold Holt. Unfortunately Holt was attributed to around 6 different pictures so I went at it alone.
I found an excellent resource for my info (same pics as yours) and my first attempt at A proved to be the wrong avenue. Second attempt using a much simpler theory worked and gave me a green light at the end. Collected my smiley today. Left pathtag. Fav from me.

Found this one on my way home from visiting rellies further north for easter. Last find for the day before hitting the freeway southwards towards home. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Blackrat1414
Solved this at the end of January within a few minutes and while still in bed. Arrived at GZ, missing the vegetation yesterday's visitors came across, and made a quick discovery. TFTC!
Enjoyed solving the puzzle with iluvtrekking. Had been in this area for a multi some time ago. Think we may have taken the wrong approach to gz as we had to make our way through overgrown vegetation but thankfully made the find.
We could have approached this cache from a different direction and it would have been a little easier to get to GZ, but we got there with a couple of scratches as a bonus. Thanx Blackrat.
I knew how to go about solving this puzzle straightaway but even still, it was enjoyable to work it out. I have never been to the GZ before which was a pleasant surprise. Picked up TB. TFTC Blackrat
The better half and I decided to come back to this area on a day out caching so I could find the last few unfound caches and the newly published one. After going via a very long diversion to pick up some other new caches we arrived here and made a quick find. Swapped the trackables.
Thanks Blackrat1414 for the cache.
Thanks Blackrat1414 for the cache.
Finally make it today - enjoyed walk along to GZ, discovered the trackables an signed the log. Thanks Blackrat1414.
Out and about on a quick early morning Cache run with Spatial Riq.
I solved this one not long after it came out and it has been sitting in the pending folder ever since !!
So today was a perfect time to stop by and make the find.
Cheers for an interesting puzzle, i learnt a few names from days gone by !!!
Have a FAV point.
Cheers.

Out caching with the machman this morning.
Glad to tag along for this one as I'd only solved just over half the puzzle.
Nice sized cache in an excellent hide, gave it a fave also.
Dropped off 3 TB's and picked up the 3 already there. TFTC.

A quick find in a very nice little hidey hole.
Left a pathtag. Dropped Enigma GC, Canadian Forces GC and The Treffsicher (pistol) TB.
Thanks for the very nice, straight forward puzzle and the hunt.

I missed noticing all the new caches released yesterday until nearly 90mins after their release. Decided not to head out then and sat down to try and solve this puzzle instead.
Well after trying 3 more heinous forms for this puzzle I finally settled on the correct format. But as there was no geochecker I resorted to Google Earth to check how close my solutions were to other caches.
I determined that this location wasn't possible and proceeded to try all manner of nasty and evil possibilities but still wasn't progressing so emailed a friend who I knew would have this solved by then.
Duh, I was right before just didn't realise that ..................... So I spent alot longer than I should have on this one. Learnt lots though
Made a swift find at GZ and picked up the TB.

Sorry please check with your geocheck as I am sure my final coordinate is correct but geochecker always say "sorry" Email to the co.
Woohoo!! FTF at 4:47pm!!
I was at a cache in Duncraig when all the new caches were published, and I headed for the new multi cache first, and found that one, and on the way I had a quick look at this one, and worked out what was needed.
I found a great website to help me, and after finding the multi I did some very quick maths and plugged the new coords into my GPS, hoping they were right.
I have found a cache in this area previously, so I knew where to park, and headed towards the cache. At GZ it was a very quick and easy find, and a blank log book to boot!
Thanks for the cache Blackrat1414!
