Logs
As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner maintenance for an extended period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) and then repair the cache within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication/action.

Neighbour said they couldn't find it, so as I knew where it was from a previous visit I checked it out.
This one has been muggled, and needs a little attention. It is definitely not there any more

Looked for a while in all the spots I could think of within 20m of cords, no luck today
Found it!!!! Let's just say there's something dodgy about a certain korc - (word is scrambled).
Find #1749. Came up to Upper Hutt on the train with the bike to find some caches and enjoy a ride back down the river trail. Nice and quiet in the park this morning. SL TFTC
Very quick as the cache was lying out on the ground quite exposed. Swept it up and moved away to complete the log while a few other early morning walking muggles passed by. Returned back where found and covered with some local materials to hide it from muggles eyes.
Would suggest the CO checks it out to make sure its in the right place and protected as originally placed. TFTC

Cache # 1,273 - a very, very wet morning to grab this cache. Water streaming by the area and centimetres thick on the ground, although cache in good nick. Obviously no one else around so early on a lousy morning! TFTC.
Staying with 1Bumblebee and her classmates at Orongomai Marae.
Managed to grab this while passing.

#4654. The weather wasn't so flash, and we're glad we went to find this one before dinner tonight and therefore avoided to be at GZ during the huge downpour later in the evening. Nevertheless, GZ was muggle-free during our visit. Quick find. Cache in good condition. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Nice find while partner was shopping. Took a little while as a few muggles around, and GPS was not so accurate today?? Took a new prospective Geocacher with me so one more to join the ranks. TFTC
There was a group of muggles playing petanque on the nearby court, but their game was interesting than me, so was able to quickly find cache without being observed.

#5994. Troodles made her way down from Higher Ground, while I went back to the car in Wallaceville Road and drove around. We met up at this cache, which proved to be a quick find. TFTC.
A quick fond, no one around today a cold wellington day

24/08/2013 #24 of the 31 days of August geocache challenge. TFTC. Pays to bring a pen so you dont have to walk back to the car to get one.
Found no problem. About to go for a walk up to the ridge this afternoon. Nice area. TFTC
Took a couple of minutes as looked at wrong object first but quick find when in right spot. TFTC
An easy find though GPS was being a bit wobbly, fairly obvious where to look. Cached in the park before but this cache wasn't there then. Quiet apart from a couple of lovers so had to try and time it when they were most absorbed in each other! TFTC. (sorry about initial triple posting, glitch with logging from mobile.)

5th of 10 in Upper Hutt area today. Straightforward find. Football game in action nearby but not close enough for concern. #258. TFTC.
After a fantastic few hours at Staglands with the three littlejardisliketardises, we decided to burn off more energy at this enormous playground. Waiting at the flying fox, I idly checked whether there were any caches nearby, and voila! Quick find at GZ. TFTC
A quick find. I learnt to swim here..........back in the day. Wasn't much of the Max back then. TFTC
Quick find while visiting upper hut and going to the skatepark. TFTC longfellowgeo.
Sunday sees us up the head of the valley chasing the Hutt River Confluence (GC2JWY9), without much success.
GZ was some distance from where the GPSr had us, 13 metres or so.
Cache in order; log signed, cache re-hidden safely.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P
The Turtle strikes again!

It wasn't in the first place I looked but it didn't take me long to track this cache down.
Apart from waiting for the G P S to settle down and the groundsmen to finish cutting the grass found the cache with not much trouble.
Tried this last week but huge group of petanque players in the area. Nice & quiet today. TFTC. With fiddlefingersnz
Early morning dew on grass, my old muggle friend was now a keen new cacher so she led the charge to find her very first geocache. [8)] As she has yet to decide on a caching name she signed her name in the logbook but will log when ready with new caching persona. On our return to car, we stopped at a shop where she also found some lovely sandals to replace the ones that got a bit damp from our walk thru the grass. She still had a day of work at a local school while I was off to Petone to catch up with friends & hopefully find some finals of puzzle caches solved. Thanks for this delightful cache in a lovely area near where I once lived but had not visited before.
I was passing here today so made a brief stop. The cache was found instantly in the first place I looked. Signed log, TFTC
Hopped in home for a cold drink and saw this on the comp so off to find and it was also a FTF. 2.30pm.
