I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
A longer search today and same result was an overgrown GZ and no cache found. Might need knocking on the head I fear.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Out and about for a drive in the country on this beautifully clear winter's day. The intention was to enjoy the countryside while enjoying some cache hunting. Spent awhile looking for this one, between golfers. No luck today. Based in previous finders comments it sounds like it is bad shape, anyway. Could do with a a bit of TLC from the CO, I would, politely, suggest.

Well this weekend was going to be a biggie.
Along with 3 work jobs we decided to see if we could knock off all the caches in Atiu Park.
First there was the any event in Papakura along with a bit of a bribe a puzzle which we had no idea as to solve.
All park caches were found by following Co Ords and hints given. Some caches were very wet and need maintenance done to them.
The park involved a lot of walking to tick off. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... On a winding drive out to Aitu Creek Regional Park.
After departing from the CITO at Conifer Grove, we headed across to West Auckland (Huapai) so that Gap could complete some measuring tasks for work. We avoided the heavy traffic chaos on the Southern Motorway and took a bypass route through Manurewa, Clendon Park, and Highway 20 through the Waterview Tunnel. Traffic flow was much freer until we approached Highway 16. Thank goodness we don't have traffic like this at home...
Once the job and lunch were behind us, we were back in action again. This was our first stop on a semi-rural through road. It took a bit of digging to locate this hide. In its heyday, this may have been a great hide. Unfortunately, the outer container is crumbling and the log is wet and soggy... TFTC.

An early morning stop to pick up this cache before the gofers were playing. Thanks for the placement
Out exploring around Kaukapakapa this afternoon, and stopped by to find the cache. I've played this course many years ago, but nice and quiet here today. Found hint item and the cache soon after. TFTC
Came here this morning to continue my daily streak. When I saw the cache, I understood the name. Nice work but it needs some maintenance. TFTC
#166 found it almost immediately... just! Very nearly dismissed the cache and was about to move on when it clicked and I had the cache in hand! To be honest its a bit wet and manky now but can certainly appreciate the effort! TFTC
This cache has been on my want to do list for awhile and as Aiden29 and I were returning from up north I swung into the driveway and we set about searching. Mmmm, where is it. We read a few previous logs and with some information gleaned from there Aiden made the find. Love the container, very apt! The cache is looking a little bit worse for wear, the path tag provided by the previous finder is slightly protecting the log but this cache could do with a little TLC.
Heading home from up north with merlot58, who had wanted to find this, but the timing wasn't right while passing. We did overshoot the driveway, but it was quiet so we could turn around and come back. The area was very overgrown, but after reading a few logs a finally stumbled over something that fit the hint. After further searching I pulled up something rather fitting. Took a bit to extract the log.
Think we found where it could've been, but it doesn't seem to be there anymore.
No joy for me today. It's always tricky picking up a cache that hasn't been found in a while as I reckon it makes it harder to find them.
1.30pm. Almost tripped over it as I identified the object of the hint. Very clever idea but sadly not watertight. Had to replace the log with a portion of a waterproof logsheet I had spare. Then attempted a better seal with the use of one of our signature pathtags. Definitely worth a favourite vote for the cleverness of the hide.
Some golfers were on a green about 100 yards away in line of sight to me but we're grumbling too much over their putting performance!!

Awesome cache very different to most caches and fits in very well with area, well done. Logbook very wet with black spots, new paper added
Had found this back in 2013 precaching days for me, so knew exactly what to look for. Clever cammo. FP from me.
November in Europe, the dark month, neighter autumn nor winter: short days, rain, fog. Everywhere unlucky people.
But now we are in NZ. Early sunrise, mighty green and flowers everywhere. Happy cows and sheeps also. We delight look forward to such lovely challenge. Thank you NZ. Greetings from Germany, from the mountains of Harz. TFTC

Came by this way in the afternoon, it had been raining on and off, while I was looking up I nearly tripped on something, well that something happened to be what I was looking for, awesome little hide, very clever. Log paper mush so I threw it away and replaced it with new and dry paper, hopefully it was stay around awhile.
Still fairly early this morning when we pulled up to GZ, the sun was yet to rise, so too early for most golfers so we had the place to ourselves. The ground was a bit soggy underfoot, so had to tip-toe around as not to fill the shoes with mud and water to cart back into the car. Took the wrong spin on the clue initially but after a few minutes hunting around I worked it all out and located the cache. Nice container, though the log book was very wet and un-signable.
Thanks for the hide.

Such a great container thanks cs111 ! Very cool surprise ....on our way to Whangarei ....Fave from me ...
After lunch at Dairy Flat decided to head over to Kumeu for Strawberry Ice-creams whilst picking up a few caches on the way. This one ended up being our last of the day (11 successful / 3 DNF's). Sent Kiwiscot out to retrieve and she came back with the appropriate container. TFTC
Was driving home and decided to grab some caches inbetween showers. I was looking forward to this after reading previous logs, and found the cache, but it is unfortunately broken and saturated and needs some love. Was unable to sign as I couldnt get the log out of the bag.
Thanks for the cache I hope you are able to fix it for future finders.

Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
See rebel98 log below. Originally logged on wrong date! On way to collect trademe item and visit Taylors reserve. Did some caching on the way, this was a clever camo, had us scratching our heads. Thanks again for the hide.

Clever camo, spot on with the GPS. Travelling with friend new to geocaching, today she got to see the creativity of geocachers!
Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
12446... Who wooden't like a cache like this, logsheet sodden so left a replacement logsheet in a new baggie, TFTC.
Fully dark by the time we reached here so no golfers to worry about. Soon spotted the interesting container and signed our last log for the day. Thanks.
Couple of golfers kept an eye on me but Ringo lifted his leg & all was ok-nice "container"-tftc
Out for another Sunday of orienteering so stopped to pick this one up. No worries with finding the cache and access was soon obtained.
Great camo. Certainly needed my trusty Leatherman TOTT on this occasion. Thanks Rosmar for replacing the log sheet and poly bag. TFTC.
Bit of a mission finding a park for the geocamper but after a couple of drivebys dropping off the right equipment, MAR could then retrieve the log which was a soggy lump of paper mache. We managed to find a small sealable plastic bag in which we placed a new log so all set for the next visitor. Great hide TFTC.
Hubby's rugby game at Kaukapakapa this week, so having dropped him of to warm up, I headed up road for my daily caching fix.
Missed parking spot and parked 150m away on other side, after turning around.
Quick find but could sign log as was too wet - unfortunately I didn't have anything with me to replace it, (glad to see that rosmar did).
Hubby was thankful as I had found several good golf balls in the ditch. TFTC

Out and about for a Sunday driver, and a cache or 2. Nice n easy drive-by. Fav point from me. Thanks.
Our first night cache so not many golfers to be seen! Very quick find but not so quick to open it up however my trusty Geo - gadget soon did the trick. Log was a bit "compressed".
A quick find, but very nice camo. Fairly busy nearby with golfers about, but they were too intent on their own game to notice me.

Lots of golfers today, but they were too busy following their balls to worry about me.

It's time to go back to Helensville today and pick up a few more caches. It was a bit tight for my delicate fingers but luckily had a tool that worked. Appropriate camo.
Cheers for the cache.
Quick find at gz of this nicely camoed cache. Not sure why this one remained unlogged long after the others were, but never mind, it's the find for the day for me. TFTC!!!
Now thats a good hide for a FTF. Yep another 1 for the day. I said 'good morning' to the local golfers but the game played out to be more important than watching me so that was a bonus. I ducked in and retrieved the cache.
A favorite coming your way..
TFTC- oh and the ball!
