Headed down to CPwanderland today with the main aim being the new On Safari series. This was one of quite a few others that were found just because they were there
Thanks Hurtle for putting it there

As Davidwazza noted, there appears have been further clearing in the seven years that this cache has been here. Now pretty much just the front gate, letterbox and row of trees to indicate that this used to be a residence.

Murray Bridge and region is awash with caches and I hit up the trails today. Lots of sand in my shoes and twigs in my hair. Visited some interesting spots and may return for a closer look
Dropped off a geocoin I think was picked up in FNQ

Today, I was headed from Adelaide down to the south-east to Glencoe for a weekend of cave diving. It so happened to be another GeoVenture2020 weekend around the vicinity also, so a good chance to catch a few events. It was a late start than usual, as I wanted to time my attendance at skuzzybear's Tailem Bend event. Running ahead of time, I called past a few geocaches around Monarto and the outskirts of Murray Bridge, before dropping in to dinner, and then continuing along the highway via Keith and Naracoorte. In the end, it was a late arrival at my accommodation, but a few enjoyable detours along the way.
As I was driving this way today, I thought I would make a quick stop to see another historical heritage building. But where is this lost heritage? Has it gone now? I couldn't see anything from the posted coordinates, so perhaps any building remnants have been cleared now? The cache container and logbook was in good shape. Thanks Hurtle for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Another quick find - Geohaze spotted this one before I’d even stopped the car. Tftc
While waiting for the wife and kids to finish up at the zoo I grabbed a couple more caches around the area. TFTC
A nice quick roadside grab on my way west to attend and event at 13:00, this one was in A1 condition and it's log was signed at 11:46 on Sun 13/10/19.
I clearly remember when not one of those factories were between the road here and Monarto silos [:o] it was just all paddocks

No problem in finding this container while out and about caching with ilook4geo. All was in good orderwith the container and contents and all duties were done at a good speed to keep the paperwork right. Many thanks go to Huurtle for placing this cache for us to find and enjoy and to add another smiley to our caching map.
This was a good caching day out with goingplaces2. We made quite a lot of finds and were pleased with the result. All logs were signed and then replaced as found. Thanks to all COs who added these caches to the game.
Nice and easy find after visiting the Monarto Zoo. Good way to finish the day. Tftc

Found. Thanks Hurtle.
Wondering if they have demolished the place you speak of here...? Not much to see, or contemplate.

Well hidden, had to time right with the traffic. But found it. Number 8 for today!
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Heading to a work location nearby and saw this one on the map and decided to stop and make the find. Parked at GZ and located the cache quickly. Extracted log signed and replaced.

Always nice to get out and glimpse the past.
Cache in good nick

A quick, drive way find on me way past the ruin today
Sad to see the farmland being used to grow an industrial state instead of crops !! [:o]
I took the "SEAHAWK BELL" TB with me.

Today we explored Murray Bridge and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ. Left TB.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

This cache was attempted while participating in the Bike SA 2017 Annual Tour.
I was almost tempted not to stop here after the beautiful downhill run from Callington Hill. Progress is a bitch.
Thanks for the cache Huurtle.

Quick easy find but unfortunately this cache is all that's left of the homestead. How sad
As we were planning to visit the Monarto Zoo today we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and pick up a few caches in the area. A quick find at GZ. TFTC
I remember when there was a lovely old building at GZ. Alas no more. nice easy find. TFTC.
Nothing interesting to look at here - just a whole lot of factory looking stuff! Think the heritage is truly lost. Found with Harrowang on our last day of holidays in Mt Barker. TFTC Hurtle
Just picking up a cache here and there as we have one last explore of the area before heading back home to Victoria. SL at 2.20pm by Harrowang and Beavar. Couldn't see this lost heritage for all that boring business buildings. Maybe we were looking in the wrong direction! ##4331 TFTC Hurtle
After a family day at monarto zoo we stopped by here and i found the cache before my dad, swapped some trinkets, Thankyou
After a day with the family at monarto zoo decided to get a few caches and even managed to get a 2TF. Its amazing that there is even a few lost heritage buildings in the zoo grounds.

On my way to Mannum for a couple of days I stopped and found a few caches as I meandered my way through the countryside, this was the first.
Big blocks of concrete here too. [?]
Thanks for the cache Hurtle.

After our extended stay in Adelaide, we have started on the way home. However we decided to stay in Murray Bridge for a couple of nights to look for some of the recently published caches. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Hurtle for another in your Lost Heritage series of caches.
A nice quick find for us on our way through the area, avoiding power trails at all costs. The factory is ugly, sure, but at least it's using the land to create employment opportunities.
This is the eleventh Lost Heritage cache we've found, which is way more than I had remembered until looking it up.
Thanks Hurtle.

I think the heritage is well and truly lost now. Other than the factory there's just a pile of rubble. TFTC. 27/03/2016, 14:20 Find #1866

Cache # 1 of 221 for this long weekend.
The Parrot was on a roll to try and get closer to the 10, 000 mark as this last 500 seems to be taking forever.
Unfortunately the knee didn't hold out and I had to retire from the field.
If you have stitches in your knee you really should cover them over before pushing though bushes.
I had a fantastic time cashing down some trails that have been in GSAK for far to log,
I worked on the Oz Mega, OTD, Geopets and Wandering heroes series over 2 days.
Kicking this one weekend off with a Hurtle cache -
You should talk Grand Designs with Mrs Parrot.
Preferably lunch
