I had never been to Mildura mainly because it is anlong way from home. But I wanted a holiday with my kids and we decided to fly from Melbourne which was great fun. This cache was done it 2 parts. Day 1 dis the obvious then the not so obvious and made my way to WP2. Time was against me. Today geokid and I made it to the final and after a false start I found what I needed. CO came out so I was able to personally thank him for the favourite cache. Grabbed a few TBs Thanks to TheVersteegs for placing this cache.
found with a group of cachers ov the easter weekend, completing 3 states in 3 days
thanks to all the co's, TheVersteegs, thanks for placing this cache, and maintaining it for us to find.

found with a group of cachers during the 3 events in 3 states in 1 day. Over the easter weekend. Signed in as MM ( Mildura Mayham ). Found the cache first and then found the red herring. A reread of the cache page made finding the key possible. Dropped 3 tbs but the CO might want to come and check the cache to mark all the tbs that are listed in the inventry but not in the cache as missing. fav point.

found with a group of cachers during the 3 events in 3 states in 1 day. Over the easter weekend. Signed in as MM ( Mildura Mayham ). Took that long to find the key to this one the house owner came out to see what we where doing. I think some of the teams with us gave him a P/T.
While on a roadtrip to Mildura caching and attending events I made my way to a few interesting caches that had been highlighted.
At WP1 I met up with The Tritonz and we started off on our journey. We were a little stuck at WP1 but the CO gave us a pointer and we were back on track. We finally circled in on GZ after exactly half an hour. That was sneaky ! Discovered several TBs resting in the cache hotel.
Thanks, TheVersteegs - a FP from me for the fun.

This cache came highly recommended by a previous finder so it was put onto our "Must Do" list for the weekend away in Mildura. After a short kayak trip to find 3 unloved caches nearby we headed off to try and sort this multi out. Well we nearly didn't get any further! We tried this and we tried that , we searched here and searched there without any luck. The CO even came out with a valuable piece of information.... I'd had my hands on it. So what had I touched? Instant replay of my movements and voila there it was , the key to finding the next waypoint. Well we made that hard lol So with a short car trip or 2 we soon had the means to sign the log and drop off some TB's.
Thanks TheVersteegs for a fun half hour or so , we thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.
A favourite for your efforts.

We travelled up from Geelong for a caching weekend in this beautiful city. I had never visited before, so I was looking forward to seeing the sights !! With a couple of events here today, we cached from morning till very late. We attended both events in between traversing the city and surrounds. A huge thanks to all of the CO's for all of their hard work, well done !!
Wow, this is definitely the best TB Hotel I have visited. TFTC TheVersteegs

Found many unlogged TBs in our Cache today I did notice someone there last week . All 4 of the unlogged Tbs have been marked as missing & been missing for sometime. I have now logged them all ,glad they are back in circulation for their owners .
Happy Cacheing

Favourite cache for the day. Not sure quite what to expect when we pulled up here. Bumbled our way through it and it had more twists and turns than the Murray River! Expected a visit from the cache owners as the dogs were in full voice but I think you guys hide in there and have great fun at our expense watching us on a monitor. Did you see me wave to you?
Thanks, a well deserved favourite point from us.

Worked our way through this one in the dark.I mucked the keying in of the final cordinates but Mr.Coffee managed to find it while I was in the car seeing where I went wrong.
Thanks TheVersteeqs for the fun search, a favorite from us,

It took us some time. However it was worth it. Completed with clever monkey and mitchaaa. The weather was perfect and so was the concept. Well done for creating and maintaining the hotel.
#357 - Really enjoyed this cache, had to think outside the box. Took GeoTour trackable and put in Little faced shapeshifter trackable, Tftc.
A really cool fun cache worth the effort. Mitchaaa had this one done on all three waypoints even if the hint did not make sense at the end point. Dropped off three TB's grabbed three TB's thanks for a great cache.
Our first cache of the day. We headed out here with Tomstache, McLookers and Motndarg. We loved the first waypoint, but boy did we make this one harder than it was meant to be. We easily collected the information at WP2 and then on to the final. Once again this took us way longer than it should have. After a quick chat with the CO we managed to extract the log from its fortress. We dropped a TB to continue its journey. Thanks for the hide.

Caching today with Glanville Girls, McLookers and Tomstache. We all seem to make this much harder than it should have been. We covered a few kms trying to get clues etc. but after a chat with the owners we were able to complete the task . Our youngest cacher wasn't too happy with the resident spider. Thanks to TheVersteegs for setting up this great cache.
This started out being our first cache in this area. We struggled a lot at the published co-ords. We were lucky enough to get some assistance from a PAF (we really need to look harder and heed the hint). Very clever. At WP2, the hint here meant we found the information quickly. We found a few other caches in the area before heading to WP3. We looked hard but not quite hard enough in the beginning. The 'key' was eventually located and the cache 'unlocked'. We left a TB to travel. We met the CO and had a nice chat too. Excellent multi, thanks TheVersteegs, we have really enjoyed your innovative caches.
Thanks for this one, very clever. Took us a while but got there in the end. A favourite.
Suscoe found this cache as we headed around the Merbein area looking for caches.
We were travelling with Phetlern.
It was a fairly warm day with a bit of a breeze to keep things reasonably pleasant.
We were impressed with this area and the blend of horticulture and urban area and scrub too.
This was a most enjoyable experience with some unexpected twists.
Did the Multi part and arrived to look for what we needed.
It wasn't where we thought and so after waiting for someone to depart, we improvised and the thing we were looking for was found.
Then for the cache, a nice hide indeed but the occupant wasn't all that friendly, just quietly sitting there watching us, wondering if we would fit into the web!
Log signed and on our way.
Thanks to TheVersteegs for the nice multi.

Spending three weeks traveling from Griffith to Adelaide while caching a little on the way. Spent some time caching today with crusin blues. Fun multi! Thanks for the cache!
I saw this one easily from the car, worked out what we had to do and off hubby & I went. A very neat cache, thank you.
Swapped Aussie Thong for a checked bead.

Well we made this harder than we should have but it was worth the effort. Got to meet the owner and share some stories.

Day 4 of a caching long weekend to Mildura with Aussie M&M and mogni. . Up Early again mogni and I headed out to complete the Mr. M remembers series. Having done so we wanted to go and finish Cache 56 TB hotel which we had started 2 days before. Getting to WP2 we had quite a search until we saw the prize. Then it was a case of how didn't we see that earlier. Off to the next way point and the piece of the puzzle we were missing. The cache was opened and a few TB sighted before we stopped and had a chat to the cache owner. Nice to put a face to the owner of many of the caches we had done this weekend. It was tricky at every turn and took us all weekend to finish. Thanks TheVersteegs and a fav from me.
Gosh, this was different. I managed to get onto wp2 quicker than I might have normally and from there it was all plain sailing. Thanks to The Versteegs for a very well put together cache. I am enjoying your efforts around here.
I had the pleasure of the company of CPwanderer and DennisC52 for a caching trip to Mildura.
We saw lots of rain on our first day but then dry sunshine for the last two days.
We locus cache'd a few caches (121 finds and 13 DNFs) and all in all had a great time, especially on some of the state forest dirt roads!
Yes, there were police involved (twice) but luckily no fines!
This is one cool cache! No hiding here, once you get to GZ. We got lucky and found the real means to open the cache during our travels and had just closed the cache when CO came out for a chat. Nice to meet you and thanks for the fun!

Found while on a caching trip to Mildura with locus_cache and CPwanderer. Had a good chat with the cache owner, and then continued our journey. Love the hide. A favourite from me. TFTC.
A definite favourite on our wanderings in this area... Had some luck spotting the necessary "tool" and really enjoyed this nice sized hide!!!! Was great to meet the CO while finishing this!!!! Thanks Versteeqs for the adventure!!!
Many thanks to team TheVersteegs for the cache and the chat. I will drop off the Full House trackable in Dubai in a couple of weeks as we discussed.
Found by Cruisinblues while in merbein to collect a couple of FTF's. We had a bit of fun with this one. Thanks for the cache.
TB Hoppy In the hands of the Honeysuckers on the way to SA , Honey suckers will officially log this out soon .

Aussie M & M and non premium member Jem03 headed off to this new cache in Jem's local town and Aussie Mark's home town. At the first coord we were impressed with the cache style and tried the wrong way before Aussie Mary had a thought. Bingo, off to the next coord, easy grab, off to the end coord and the cache was found. We had left our trackables at home so left the trackable there. Great sized end point cache hide. Loved it. Aussie Mary thinks she may have waved at one of the CO's during the touring for this cache. A cool Cache 56. A definite favourite point from us.

A morning around Merbein, with Suscoe netted us a number of smilies. We have already done this cache but we thought we'd pick up the Trackables - "The Aussie Thong" (TB2JD3D) and "Tony's Party " (TB49WAJ).
Also picked up a model car with a tag that said "Trackable RAB735" but cannot identify from the code to log it! Anyone any thoughts?
Thanks to TheVersteegs for the hunt.

**FTF** Jointly with Ian-and-Penny
This being our final day in Mildura, we were keen to put a few more smilies on our map. Of course we must leave a sprinkling of caches here to ensure another visit to the wonderful Sunraysia.
OH WHAT A BONUS to score a joint FTF with Ian & Penny on this cleverly contrived number. Great to meet the CO’s The Versteegs, particularly when we had found some of their caches during the week.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt TheVersteegs.

So this now makes our total find count 5797.

We are spending a week caching around Mildura with Phetlern. Today is our last caching day before we leave so our plan was to do one last sweep around the area to pick up the odd one or two caches that we haven't managed to get to this week (or on previous visits).
This cache was a real bonus, especially the joint FTF with Phetlern. We thoroughly enjoyed the extra tour around the area, and especially enjoyed meeting the cache owner at the first waypoint.
It's really lucky we downloaded another PQ today, otherwise we would have missed this one entirely - it appears that it was only published at 07:30 this morning.

Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Swapped trackables
