Logs
Stopped in on the way back to Auckland. Some curious bulls came over to see us. Log is full. Tftc.
Needs a new log as current one is full . A bit of a boggy adventure but good to get kids out and about!
Visiting Woodhill Mountain Bike Park today with Geokid 7 who is on THe Ruby Project. Geomum thought she had better sneak away and grab a few caches.
Love this style. Thanks for the cache in a great little spot. Had to done my gummies .

The idea of being able to park alongside this cache had us looking in the wrong places to start with. And the amount of water seeping up out of the ground hindered us a lot.
We resorted to the "where would I hide something?" which we realised had got us close to the cache. Only after reading a previous log did GeohoundandI realise where the cache was, and not wanting to get her feet any wetter than they already were, sent me back across the mud and puddles to retrieve the log.

Cool screw cache! Never seen one like that before nice easy spot, hello to the cows in pasture. The paper log is completely full, but I managed to squeeze on there. TFTC!
First find of this type today from this CO, nicely used here, thanks.
Another day closer to Christmas, and mrs capperz was keen for a trip to the xmas market at Kumeu. I, however, was not quite as enthusiastic. Our daughter Liv was keen to go with Mum which opened up a morning of potential opportunity, which I was not adverse to taking advantage of. I was keen to get some of the treasure on offer out Helensville way and so made up a PQ and headed off about 0830. Some nice scenery seen and a few caches found, T F T C all CO s.

Yah! This is my 2000th tradition cache find
I'm on my way down from Paihia to a special event in Rotorua to celebrate 20 years of geocaching history in NZ. I'm staying at my sons in Auckland tonight then heading on from there.
It's nice to pick up some caches on the way. Loved the hide, thanks

After a drive past and turn around came back for a quick grab and sign. Tftc
Nice quick find here, as others have said, something only a cacher would notice.

GPS had me in the entre of the road so I thought I would have to search both sides at first but while standing there I noticed the odd thing. Sure enough it was what I was after. TFTC
I've been geocaching out this way and am ambling South for a little bit.
There were interesting casts of insects nearby - ?cicada.
Thnaks for placing & maintainng this cache, cs1111. I have enjoyed your caches today.

Nöggi2 did the planing so I had little information ..he grabed it of course ...That was a nice one thank you!
I'm from Switzerland and spend 4 months in New Zealand on vacation. Found this cache after a few minutes search, thanks.
Decided to get few caches along the way before going to Muriwai ... It took a while to find this nice camo! Well done. TFTC
I love these hidden in plain sight caches as no one but a cacher would notice it!
This was our last cache before retracing our route down the road. Didn't take long to spot this cache which is well camo'd and in plain sight. FP given.
I decided to set out today to see if I could find enough caches that would unlock a few of the Hidden Creatures souvenir series. And as I knew that wet weather was forecast for the afternoon, I set out from home today just before sunrise to try and find as many as I could before the rain set in. I figured I would rather cache in the dark dry rather than the light wet. And after finding another one of yours close by, I then turned my attention to this one. I could actually see the cache before I finished parking the car... but nice job! So the log has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot. So thank you cs1111 for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so
Clever little cache, thanks cs1111 for some quality road side park and grabs. TFTC!
Mrs NZT and I set out north on a day trip to grab a few caches in peace. After a slightly delayed start due to a quick trip to the doctor after laval fell off a bouncy castle and hit his head very hard we were free to go and had a great day.
Parked up and as we had just found another on the 'Road to Home' found the in plain site cache nice and quickly. Very nice camo here again.
Thanks for the cache.

I first looked in what I thought would be the most obvious spot, but didn't find the cache. I had to expand to a methodical search pattern before I noticed something that told be where the cache was hidden. TFTC.
Out on a caching mission with rustynz. Catching up with the logs. Thanks for the hides
We pulled up, and before I even got out of the car, spotted something a little different, so went over to investigate, and there the cache was
Thanks for the hide, caching with rebel98 today.

We had a good search around but no luck at all here today.
The obvious spot was the power pole but GZ was the other side of the road. The verge had been lopped all the way back to the fence line on this side.
Thanks

Out and about for a spot of geocaching today. The weather was cold and blustery, but I didn't get too wet today. Focus was on finding park and grabs due to the weather situation. Parked up next to GZ and spotted something of interest from the car. Closer inspection confirmed the smiley. Cheers for the cache placement!
A weekend outing with kids to strawberry farm near Muriwai. This cache was on the way. Stopped for a moment. Spotted cache easily. Enjoyed eating wild blackberries near GZ. TFTC.
Out on a tiki tour of SH 16 to pick up some caches. Had to detour around the puddles and mud to get to GZ.
Mr Patoto had a reunion in Makarau so made a 3 day weekend of it. I had planned to find 19 geocaches. Some on the way up and and rest on way back. #15. Stopped here for lunch. While Mr P made the tea I found and signed the log. I have had one of these containers before. No trains went passed while we were having dining. TFTC.
Nice hide. Glorious morning as we head south.thanks for all the fun we've had up here
For a caching weekend away with the HKCB this was a late but welcome start in this great piece of countryside that I had never visited before.
So after having spent a caching trip where I slept in a bed rather than a car, and having had a shower (so this must be how normal cachers start their day when caching) while getting a tour of the Albertlanders History before heading south.
We collected this one following on from cretti's series of puzzle caches and heading south once again
Great spot for the cache and we were happy to have the place to ourselves.
thanks for brining me to this spot to enjoy the surrounds.

A little while ago an idea was thrown about to head north for a final caching roadtrip for the year. So along with C&D a rough plan was formed with a certain few caches, a confluence point visit, an event to attend, and the rest of the plan was to be made up as we went along. A later start this morning, but we'd achieved most of what we had wanted to do yesterday so a nice crusiey day today. Heading home the along way via Helensville to grab a few more caches.
This one had us wandering around for a few minutes. It's quite obvious once you spot it, so well done on the camo job. Thanks for the hide.

(1579) Had time to target some road side caches on my way home from the mountain bike park. Great camo. TFTC
One of my favourites! Took some time but it is obvious once you know it's there!
I was up here to compete in the tough guy gal race for which I won a panda soft toy, and decided to collet this cache with stik-a-crane.
sorry for the delay in logging.

We were just down the road supporting young EIR-0T in her quest to complete the Tough Gal and Guy challenge and spotted this cache just up the road, so had to collect it... Glad we did as the hide was very forward...
Found with HeMaLuDy and darthecacher1 and Purply.

After finding a nearby cache after the junior after the tough gal and guy challenge we spotted this was less than 250 m away so couldn't leave the area without looking for it. Left the phone in the car as the description said it would be obvious - and it was but only after Mr Hemaludy started looking too. Probably the busiest the road had been all day, two cars parked on the side and a truck coming one way and car coming from the opposite direction, luckily all passed safely. Found with stik-a-crane, eir-ot, darthcacher1 and purply.
On a family holiday in the area visiting family. This trip is a holiday with caches, not a caching holiday.
We had plans for a family trip out to the Parakai Springs todsy but on of the family was out due to a fever. We decided to still go but with a diminished team. After a lovely swim we headed back to Auckland and stopped by and grabbed a few caches. Took a bit to locate. I spotted the clever wee cache, fav from me.
Thanks for the cache.

Took me a little while to spot something out of the ordinary, when I did I was pleased I found it. A guy pulled up in the dark and asked if I was alright so I said yes, I was treasure hunting and briefly explained Geocaching to him, he seemed to be amused by it. I said it beats sitting at home watching boring T.V. This was my last cache for the night, righto, now where's that bottle of wine and cheeses etc for a late dinner.
Hi it's Mmemooks Kid we find it my brother mum and me 3 in one day sweet!!! (Best day EVER!!!)
On our way home from swimming lessons at parakai. Parked right next to it and opened straight away. Camouflage is missing so it's very obvious! Tftc
thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found on our way back to Auckland. We really enjoyed the many stops along our way. TFTC and greetings from Belgium.
On my way back from a successful geohash in Woodhill forest, I stopped off to pick this one up. Parked right next to it for an easy retrieval & return. TFTC.
Was passing by again today so had another crack. Got in no troubles this time. Sorry about the previous needs maintenance log.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I was on my way up to Woodhill Forest and made a quick stop for this cache en route. Spotted the likely suspect on approach to GZ and had no trouble opening the cache and signing the log sheet! (The glue on the outside doesn't prevent it from being opened.) Another clever hide, TFTC!
hey there.. just passing by showing a new cacher some clever action - i see the main part of camouflage is missing now ( glue marks where it was) leaving only the container that makes it a little easier to spot?

As per my log it appears this has been glued shut; would the CO please be able to check? At a minimum you might want a pair of pliers to get some leverage, I had absolutely no luck.
Located this cache, but could not open it. I could see what looked like hot glue, but I didn't know if that was meant to be, so I was just trying to unscrew what I could, but it wouldn't budge. Found it though so figured I might as well log it. Needs attention from the CO though.
Searched about for this for quite a while before I spotted the cache. How'd I miss that? I'll make the excuse it was dark! However I couldn't get into the cache at all, it simply wouldn't budge. Inspecting it closer suggests it may have been glued shut, so it wasn't to be a smiley here today.
Ha ha !!!!!!!!! Another excellent one I've never seen before ! Looked and looked ....had actually parked right by it and not realised ! TFTC
Clever little cache, easy to find when you have an idea what to look for. TFTC
