Quick little find while we visited Barmedman for the return to Barmedman weekend
The citizens were quiet in the dead centre of Barmedman while I made the search. The cache in good condition was quickly located so after signing the log I left the locals to their peaceful slumbers.
After spending an awesome weekend at Lameroo for the JLWE , we are taking the long way home, collecting counties and any other caches of interest. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY FIFTEEN: Crossing back through Temora, this time towards Cootamundra, then Bethungra, Junee and Wagga Wagga. Once we figured out which side of the fence to be on, it was a short stroll to gz. Said Hi to some of the residents. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, wbfoto ~~
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 15:After another swim in the mineral pools it was off further south towards Wagga Wagga, making a few stops along the way.A nice quick walk through this cemetery to grab this good sized cache. All was good at GZ. Log is dry and container in good shape. Thanks wbfoto for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! This is one of the caches we targeted and found thankyou for giving us the opportunity to explore. We are now heading home to Queensland after attending the Wangaratta event .
Headed away for a bit of a post lockdown trip to central west NSW. My main goal for the trip was to find GC2F6F (2001 cache), but as always I couldn't drive past as if it wasn't there. This was one of the many caches I found on my road trip.
Took the most direct route to GZ. parking very close to GZ
Thanks to the CO's for hiding your cache and contributing in a small way to the fun I had.

#11868 - 12:05; Day one of a mission through the Central West of New South Wales with Sol de lune to grab some of the dragonZones and counties to our west. Today's travels took us through Binalong, Temora, Barmedman, West Wyalong, Rankin Springs, Goolgowi, Hillston and finally Lake Cargelligo where we spent the night. Stopped on the way into Barmedman for me to log this cache which sdl had found on an earlier visit. TFTC wbfoto
Quite an easy find. Cache is in good condition. Signed and replaced. Thanks for placing the cache

Out caching with goingplaces2 and having a successful time. This one was all OK. TFTC.
Found on a trip around central New South Wales with e.gregory1. Our original plans were to travel through Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba to attend the Dayboro event in Queensland and return via Port Macquarie and central NSW, but a series of events that included road closures due to flooding in southern inland Queensland, a covid outbreak in Brisbane and widespread storm damage and road closures along the north coast of NSW resulted in multiple changes of plans during the trip. As it eventuated our travels took us to central New South Wales, on a route from Broken Hill to Cobar, Nyngan, and Gunnedah from where we meandered southwards through some great scenery and historic towns that included Dunedoo, Wellington, Cowra and Yass. We then headed in a roughly westerly direction through to Temora, Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin and Swan Hill before making a final dash for home. All up we found a good mix of Traditionals, Puzzle Caches, Multicaches, Adventure Labs, Wherigos, Earthcaches, Letterbox Hybrids and Virtual Caches on a very entertaining and enjoyable trip. Thanks for the cache wbfoto!
Found on a trip around inland NSW with FeatherWaite.
Our original intention was to attend the Mega event at Dayboro in Queensland, travelling up via Broken Hill, Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba, then home via the NSW coast to Port Macquarie then on to Adelaide via central NSW. However, the Covid outbreak in Brisbane forced us to reconsider, particularly given that the Mega and associated events were within the area of concern and we may have had difficulty re-entering NSW to get home and then would have had to quarantine back in SA for 14 days.
The floods in the north and east of NSW also hampered our travel plans. But we were able to develop a new plan that took us on a very pleasant tour around country NSW, picking up some interesting caches along the way.
Thanks wbfoto for the cache.

We won't repeat our saga of today's adventure as it is logged in the other cache in town. Suffice to say, this was a nice quick find in a very attractive rural cemetery. TFTC wbfoto and for bringing us here.
Came out to Barmedman mineral pool and went for geo hunt on my way back to temora the cache was easy find but needs a new pencil or pen
A nice stop on our journey across the country from Adelaide to Brisbane with Davidwazza! TFTC!
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Hay to Parkes. We travelled east via Griffith, Yenda, Barellan, Ardlethan, and Temora where we stopped for lunch. We then spent the early afternoon completing the two Adventure Labs around the town and lake, and then headed north and north-east via Barmedman, Forbes, and arriving in Parkes in the late evening. Several of NSW's LGAs were visited during our travels today.
This sure was the dead centre alright. This was a quick find as we drove past the area, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks wbfoto for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Staying in Barmedman, so easy enough to pop out and pick up the 2 local caches. Love the cemetry hides, reading the headstones and wondering about the stories behind the people. Cache easily found and in good condition. Tftc

Stopped in here as part of our Great Western County Hunt. It has been a truly incredible trip, as I managed to pick up the last four counties I needed to fill in my NSW county map. A super exciting thing to complete. Thanks for enabling our crazy adventures. Thanks for the cache.

I decided to drive to Cootamundra for the long weekend to stay with my sister Ottercreek29. Plans were in for a quick drive to West Wyalong to look at the painted silo and do some caching on the way, so we go up early and J-quellan and The Ryan Girls picked me and Ottercreek29 up and off we went. It was a nice drive and this was our first one of the day, signed the log as Team Flame Trees (Darzee Di, OtterCreek29, J-Quellan and the Ryan Girls) an easy find and I really like caches near/in cemeteries thanks for the cache wbfoto.
Tftc wbfoto, we needed a cache in this shire for a challenge so we took a drive up and grabbed this one.
#3777 After being in Ungarie for the afternoon, this was our 7th and final cache for the day, as we returned home. Found with Green-martian and co. Replaced cache as found. TFTC wbfoto.
Finally the borders are open and we folk stuck in the ACT feeling like an oppressed society are able to get out. The birds can legally fly to migrate, ants can build a nest and cachers can cache in NSW without the threat of getting arrested. On the way back, sunset find. Tftc
KmanNZ's end of year road trip. VIC, NSW and ACT.
Day 2 had me driving from Narrandera to Dubbo via Grong Grong, Temora and The Dish at Parkes.

Went on a road trip for may reason, 90th bday, visit old friends and relos, some of them with bad memory problems, and a cemetery or two to get recent pics of the grandparents and great grandparents. It was a great trip catching up with lots of people we had not seen for many years and have a great party of two. During our round trip we were also able to collect some cache along the way.
And she sailed, Through the night, On her way
Down among the dead men, Down among the dead men
The band played, She sailed the virgin
She sailed the sea Down among the dead men
Anyways onto the cache, this was a quick find once I took the right turn, all was good with it. I left a TB, Cedar Chunk #11, in side of it. All was good with it. I Recovered it, tagged it, re-established it, then on my way, now logged it
Thanks wbfoto for this cache, Lil Donna

It was getting late in the day and the sun was setting quickly as we arrived at this location. Thankfully accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks wbfoto for the cache.
I made a quick find here this morning. Some interesting headstones, I wish I had more time to explore, TNLN thanks.
Heading back slowly to Tassie after picking up our son’s car in Brisbane. Have driven this road many times and it is always nice to deviate and stretch the legs.
Car GPSr got confused here as we did for awhile then we worked it all out. We probably went the long and long way and made it more difficult for us!! Got there in the end.

All four Fergzters completed their holiday to Canberra and now its time to head west to visit family in West Wyalong. We found this cache along the way. A nice quick find here today. As a native victorian I did notice some birdlife I had not seen before. Must check up on them in my book when I get home. They were not happy with me and made a loud racket. However they left me be to find the cache soon enough. All is well with the hide. TFTC wbfoto
Passing through the area for the Caragabal Sheep Races this weekend and needed a stretch of the legs. Have driven past here a few times but had time to stop today with semi- muggle friends who helped with the find. TFTC.

Traveling home via Snowtown, Broken Hill, Cobar, Dubbo, Forbes, West Wyalong & Temora, finding a good variety of cache types and hides. I visited some interesting historical towns and bush locations, which made the round trip well worth the drive.
I did as much maintenance as I could, replacing damaged containers and full or wet logs.
Signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, wbfoto, for us and others to find.

Hi there wbfoto.
We found your cache **"Barmeds dead end"** today. (This makes our find count 19357).
We cached to the south of West Wyalong today. We didn't really have a plan, but the aim of the day was to cache along some roads we haven't traveled on since we became full time grey nomads, so we can draw another line on our map).
We found 9 caches today (DNF'd 0) & thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
***Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** Cache needed some maintenance as it was very UV damaged. We made the repair and restored the cache.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
**Dropped Trackable:** "Het Verdict 2K race (Red)".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

TFTC. We had intended to stop in West Wyalong before continuing our journey to The Rock. It was still early so,we drove on , but not before stopping in Town And at the cemetery to find a cache.
A quick find. The lid could do with replacing as it had been damaged. We turned the container upside down so it would not collect any rain. Left a TB.
