Making good use of the low tides to stroll around the coast and pick off some of the caches there. Very quiet here today, so a nice quick find. Log was full, but we found a spot to sign. I see now that the cache has been actually archived. Sorry, didn't know that until just now. TFTC
Took a while to find as the container and the cami are damaged. Might need owner attention
Yesterday spent far too much (wasted time) searching for Not a Punga, Not a Paua. With time agin me Tama & I had to get back for me to grab a rest before starting 9-hour night shift. Called by today to keep my streak going with this park & grab(?)
Poor snail and container certainly looking worse for wear.
Need to amend attributes please to include thorns as there’s a rampant Acacia tree with its inch log thorns standing sentinel.
TFTC and for continuing my current streak - as small as it is.
KrystalKath, Tama & I shall return to try out the Freedom Camping here. Certainly impressive toilets!

Thought this would be easy....but found nothing initially ...so went and did another one....
Even did a TAF....but still couldn't see what I expected...
Nek minute I tripped and nearly fell over something which had obviously rolled down the little hill and got hidden in plants/weeds.
It was the camoed cache!
Snail looking worse for wear...
Replaced up back at gz....

What a nice spot. We enjoyed our exploration around the reserve. No problems with the cache. TFTC
My first time out to this point so had to look around. Coords seemed a little out for me, but found it in the obvious place. Looks like snail died a long time ago.

Out and about in the camper for a few days. Been up to Thames and Waitakaruru to check out the new stretch of the HRT. On our way home we planned to stop at Te Puna, to stay overnight and to pick off the caches around there. Mr S found this cool camoed cache. Why oh why do useless hoons have to drive their vehicles on the reserve. What a mess they have made.
Thanks Bridgeaway. One more smilie and one step closer to another souvenir.

We remember finding a cache out here years ago when we first started caching. We enjoyed returning to this lovely spot this morning, and seeing where we had overnighted in our campervan just across the water was a bonus. One of us had a preconceived idea of the hide, which proved wrong. So it was the other who made the find of a quite different but nicely crafted cache. Thanks for the fun and the chuckle.
Kayaked across from plumbers point to do a little geocaching. It looks cool. TFTC
Not many muggles today! Lucky as it took a wee bit of searching. Satisfying find
Cache number 3380. After doing the overnighter I was making my way back and veered off to this one. Was concerned about movement in the house nearby but snuck it quietly. Cache spotted and grabbed. Had a little smile on my face as I signed it. Then it placed back and out to the car. All good in the house as well. Now it is back over the speed bumps. Thank you for the placement.
A nice day today so drove out to this place to have a look. Lovely spot with nice outlook. Cache found quick enough with the hint.Tftc
Not usually a fan of micros, but this one was a ripper!
Camped in the free camping spot just up the road I decided to have a wander and look for a few caches. This was the first and probably the best
Great location!
TFTC
Cheers

Out with My.Precious hunting for a tomato stall with no luck so decided to do another type of hunt. Another place that's a treasure to the Bay. Will have to come back here with the kayak and do some fishing. TFTC.
As Basic members we can only get the location of the cache, no hints or clues from premium members while using the app. It adds to the challenge . When I found this one I nearly swiped the snail off.

Walking back from the Overnighter cache and thought the challenge of this one would be in order.
All Tiga and I had was the phone GPS so as we were passing through decided to give this a shot.
Tiga found this first (pure instinct) as I was only a metre away checking out another obvious spot.
Signed and returned

We remember finding a cache along this path many years ago, so it was nice to return and quickly spot this snail mail cache. And it was just as great to spot the red pohutukawa blossoms on the tree by the water, something we miss very much at Xmas as we don't see many down our way. Thanks for bringing us to a nice spot, TFTC.
We stayed the night here and after dinner set off to take the geo dog for a walk and get some caches. My GPS was bouncing all around the place and had me looking in the total wrong place. After bah humbugging I had a look at other spots and soon had cache in hand. A horrid black spider has taken up residence.
Nice quick find. I like the container although the poor old snail is a little the worse for wear. TFTC.
Awesome wee cache. Took a while for the hints to register, and then bingo! No emailing occurred here today...snail mail all the way.
Out caching with iammrwalker, kiwis69, 11hpg11 and HKCB to mission it around and about Tauranga.
Had to try and make this find without the neighbours seeing. Luckily they paid no attention so we could sign the log.

Out and about with Kiwis69, 11HPG11, Kyb3r and iammrwalker for a bit of a mission over in Tauranga. With caching time limited for a few of us, a half(ish) day leave pass was given from our respective muggle partners. With a set in stone time of 2pm to be back at home to maximise caching time a 5am start was agreed on. Still we managed about 6 hours of caching time and managed to find around 35 caches throughout the morning.
We all enjoyed the day out, and I think we all agreed it was a little long between drinks. A bonus for the day was the high level of quality caches we found. A big thanks to all those CO's for making it an even more memorable day. We signed the logs as HOAC, a group name we go by from time to time.
Picked up on the hint straight away, though had to navigate through some thorns to get to GZ unscathed. A quick hunt around and the cache was spotted, nicely hiddened.

I found this cache along with HKCB, kyb3r, Kiwi69 and 11hpg11, we signed most of the logs HOAC and a couple with an abbreviation of our Geocaching handles to save on space and time. We came over to the Bay from Hamilton, leaving at 5am and getting back to the Tron at 2pm to appease our respective partners. I managed to nab about 35 geocaches on our quick trip. We had a great time, shared some unforgettable work stories and some very humorous cringe worthy innuendo. The Bay has some incredibly creative CO’s and we were really impressed with the quality and variety of hides.
This was one of a number of memorable hides we found today. Thanks for hiding it.

Excellent hide. such a peaceful place. A spot I didn't even know was here. Lol open home at house next door. When exiting I didn't know they had all come out on to the road. Probably wonder what sort of neighbourhood this is. TFTC.
Cool cache, enjoyed by me and daughter bellbox. (I had to explain the title). We've never been here before, it's a nice spot. Other junior was asleep in the car so mr yodabeach stayed with him while we explored further. Tftc
We made quick work of this cleverly constructed cache. I particularly liked that the glue/sealant used made it particularly realistic! The cache trail was a bit of a giveaway, mind you, they don't always lead you to success.
Nasty thorn bush to negotiate before locating cache. Always a beautiful place for a picnic and plenty of rays to avoid. Thanks for bringing us here
What a great camo and cache I have always loved this area it has a great atmosphere a fav from me. you
Found while visiting the area, nice little Bay. No ants. TFTC. Found with chocolate_bar01
Spent a few minutes looking for this one. Coords seemed a little out for us but the hint was good enough to make the find. No ants today as the previous cacher had mentioned. Signed log and onto the next one, TFTC and the cool camo
Took a couple of seconds to spot the hide. There is a ants nest in the hole and millions of ant eggs. We didn't want to open cache as covered in eggs and ants. Cool hide but co may want to check on it. Have taken a photo to prove we found it. Tftc
We thought this a very clever and humorous hide. And what a stunning location! TFTC
OMG! We had to search for this one. My daughter actually spotted it first, and missed it. Excellent cache, this is what it's all about. TFTC, had fun with this one!
This was a really cool one. The man living next door ruined it a bit as he came out and told us where to look, still was a neat container. Thank you.
Went on an adventure to day with the So Psyched crew. This one was super sneaky, the clue actually had me looking somewhere else. tftc
This one was bugging me so as we had time before we headed back north we popped back down here. I was too busy focussing on somewhere else yesterday and only had a cursory look in one particular spot. This morning I went straight to that spot and had the cache in hand within a minute of looking! Sometime you can be very blind
GPS had us looking all over, but didn't spot this sneaky hide. Will have to come back and have another look next time we're back down this way.
Quite surprised we laid hands on this, given the amazingly sneaky cache container.
Fortunately one of us was looking much further afield than where the GPS lead us to.
Another fave point.

Headed over this was with Kiwis69 to head to a certain birthday rave in a cave. We set off from Hamilton just on dark and grabbed some caches on the way to fill in time
This was going to be tough hunting at night but we were dedicated and searched every possible option when we stopped for a break at the first place we had hunted and found it easily. Should have trusted the GPS and just searched that bit harder. Managed to get in and make the find without waking the neighbours. THanks for the cleverly camo'ed cache, could have been very tricky but our keen eyes were no match for it tonight.

Taking a circuitous route from Hamilton with 11hpg11 so that we can have a few hours' child-free caching binge on our way to a geocaching birthday rave in cave. Less chance of muggles at this hour too and good fun to test the caching senses in the dark. No-one around which made for an easier search but it took us a while to come up with the goods. Missed on the first check but spotted when we re-focussed our efforts. Great little hide, TFTC
I couldnt' resist this cache, knowing who the cache owner was , and didn't got disappointed with this cleverly hidden cache. Thanks for that. We will come back to parkover with the camper as it is beautiful.
Another very clever hide from Bridgeaway, Love your creativity when it comes to your caches very very awesome!! Kiwijades eyes spotted this one I was took hooked up looking just down from hiding place! A successful day out Te Puna today
Parked nearby for lunch. Easy walk to gz but camo had us puzzeled for a short time. Neat camo. Tftc
Never been here before. It's stunning!! Very nice cache. Pretty wet inside. Signed log but most wiped off while putting back into container. TFTC.
An interesting little walkway - where does it lead? And a very nice house on the top of the hill - I assume they've put together that flying fox? The cool things you see while caching aye! Found quickly and in good condition - got the snail but didn't get the mail. TFTC Bridgeaway.
Fantastic cache. Unfortunately though it has a bit of an ant infestation - lots of wriggly white larvae, yuck! Oh, and the log book was a bit damp.
Wow!!!!!! Lucky for us there were people home in the near by house otherwise we would never have found it!!! Very, very clever.
Decided to post some mail snail mail style. Loved the camo on this cache.thanks bridgeaway
Out collecting a few caches before the BBQ event at Kulim Park later on and trying as best I can to clear out this part of the BOP,
A crafty wee hide this one was

After a little bit of searching we soon had another clever Bridegaway cache in hand. Worth a fav pnt.
As soon as I arrived as GZ I got a hint from the neighbour making it an easer find than it would have been on my own. When it was in hand their was a smile and a "ahhh I get it moment" well done.
My partner went kayak fishing today off the other side of the reserve so I decided to go and find this one after being away for a few weeks. We live nearby so it was cool to find this one! It was upside down so I'd picked it up twice while searching, but didn't think to look underneath it. A very cool way to hide it! TFTC
213 - I had never been all way down here before, so good excuse to come do some caching, wasn't sure where to start looking, there was a geotrail which didn't help to much as it split into a few different directions! after spinning around a few times, i spotted the lil guy. TFTC
Had a look for this cache this arvo and did not find it. Chatted to the neighbour who was very friendly and helpful. We replaced it with another suitable cache.
Couldn't find it. After the last log we didn't want to needlessly persist looking. Worth checking by the owner perhaps?
Spent a long time looking for this and was about to give up when a neighbour came across to help that knew the location and container. The cache has either been moved from it's original location by a substantial distance or removed.
Amazing cache, took us a couple of times to find it but we eventually located the object. TFTC
