We searched and searched but no luck. We love nearby so we will keep an eye on the logs and head back another day
Too tricky for me, from others comments I kept expecting to see a sign warning of wombats or something but no signs like that in the area. Could really use a decent hint I think...
No luck for me today, maybe another time...

Out for a day of Caching and 4WD'ing on this lovely sunny Melbourne winters day. This was the sixth of 8 finds for the day. After searching extensively at GZ without luck we were just about to call it quits when Mr Pooky widened the search and soon had the cache in hand. Something just didn't look quite right. Co ordinates were well off. But a great enlightening cache and a favourite from us. Left a TB - Have a drink on me. TFTC and bringing us down this track.
Good to see this wombat found a new burrow. Although I much preferred the old one!
Glad it is back! Great work as always.

Very clever cache. Looked at it so many times and walked straight past. Kids loved this one.
Very clever hide! Saw it immediately but coordinates said it was a distance away so didn't consider it until after a search of gps location. Number 11 for the day!!
Only took a minute with Prin666cess. Unfortunately didn't get to see a wombat. TFTC
TFTC. Signed and returned.
Rubus you can have a favorite for this one.
This is the 4th great cache for the day so far. No nano in sight.

It's funny how things surprise you. On arrival here I had expected the cache to be of a certain type of camo and I thought I was in the GZ as I began looking. Then I popped my head up and looked further away, and saw something that caught my eye. A clever hide in a quiet spot. I could imagine being here in winter would be quite a muddy experience. Found with Jeckleberryandtedd, Cathlud and charlibear10. Tftc
Love the camo! Out with TinkerTraveller, Cathlud, and my geokid CharliBear10 for a morning of caching. Our GPSs were taking us all over the place. Thankfully TinkerTraveller spotted something that it could be after only a few mins of looking. Very smart! TFTC.
Out for a morning caching with TinkerTraveller, 'jeckleberry and tedd' and CharliBear10. It was my turn to drive and find the safe places to park. Our GPSs were pointing everywhere except in the direction of the cache. Luckily Tinkertraveller spotted the cache before we all got too frustrated. This was our third rubus cache for today and I loved the camo.
Out with Omegaman1971 for a caching run to Mt Disappointment today and we went the back roads to grab a few cachers on the way. This one was spotted early on as we arrived and after doing a few previous hides from the CO we knew it was not going to be a average hide and we weren't disappointed. Thanks rubus for the cache.

With today been the last day off from work until xmas day I have, I was on a quest to hit 1000 before the end of the year. So Happy Pants and I hit the road for a day of caching. As we drove to Gz both Happy pants and I spotted what we believed was the container!!! Yep we were right.

We were in the area today so we made a quick detour to pick up this cache. Upon arrival at GZ I started a quick search but was interrupted by a car coming out of a nearby drive way. I went back to the car so as not to look to suspicious and read a couple of previous logs while I waited. The car then just sat there for a little bit making me wonder if it may have been the CO who was watching me. Then the car left and because of the logs I knew exactly where to look and I was signing the log in no time. Thanks for the cache rubus.
Was on a bit of a caching run with a couple of other members of U3A Seymour. We haven't been out for a few months (the call of the north was too strong for many of us). It was good to be out caching as a group again.
yamidotty spotted this before even leaving her car but sometimes it is amazing how something can be hidden in plain view.

Our first caching run for a while. It felt good to be out with friends finding caches on a lovely warm day.
We decided to have lunch here. What a busy little area. Many cars and trucks passed us as we were eating.

Thanks, awesome spot, very creative! Took us some time but had success in the end.
Found it, not everything is as it seems. Great cache, kept us in the dark for a while.
Traveling to northern Vic on my own today, so I had plenty of time to do some caching. I found this one. I seem to remember that device from a previous cache. tftc.
Crusty.

Out for a drive with the kids to pick up a few caches. This must be just about the only Rubus cache in the area that I hadn't done so of course we just had to make the detour!
I spotted something before I had turned the engine off (and, as it turns out I was correct ), the kids were lost, looking everywhere but at the cache so I relented and showed them. We were all suitably impressed. A fav point for sure.
Cheers Rubus, thanks for the fun.

We arrived at gz and checked all the usual suspects with no success. Look again, scratch our heads and spot something that doesn't quite look right. Check more closely and bingo, there it is. Very clever, you get a favourite point from us for this one.
No sign of the "Allegany State Park 2010 Geocoin" here today.
Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

This had been one of my favorite finds, we were about to give up then we realised, its so clever
Having a brief visit to Melbourne, I dragged my muggle Mum out for a few caches before we headed out for lunch at the pub... This was our last find before our lunchtime plans We pulled up in the appropriate spot, & before my GPSr even had a chance to work out where it was, I spotted the likely hide... Sure enough my suspicions were confirmed & the logbook was soon to hand [^] Very clever, I really liked this idea & it also brought back memories of my part time job I had making these in a factory in Eltham when I was a kid!
Thanks for another entertaining cache rubs [^] Left a GC which travelled with my from WA.

Arrived and searched for a few minutes, I was standing at GZ but couldn't see a thing. I went to walk back to the car and helllllo cache, signed and back on the road for another adventure.
Having found two containers along Ridge Road that engendered a fair bit of déjà vu, the name of this one had a familiar ring to it as well. Once at GZ, my suspicions proved correct and I was signing the log at 18:05.
TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks rubus.

TFTC very clever. Just about to give up when some muggles drove by so I looked up and spotted cache nearby.

Very clever little cache - tftc - took us about 20 mins after looking at every hole nook and cranny - heed the warning!!! 1550
It is nice to see Rubus up to his old tricks but we had seen this one before on another local back road. We knew what to do and the cache was in hand at 16:30. A couple of blue wrens watched as we signed the log. TFTC
As I drove up and stopped I overlooked the cache, and went searching where my compass was pointing, but that was a ruse , just like the cache a fabulous ruse , fav point for this as it took me a while for that lightbulb moment , thanks for the fun cache
Im not sure if it was just bad timing but while we were close to gz, atleast 3 cars passed us who had to go to the place on top of the hill. Us..pretending being tourists and studying the wombat burrow There were sure enough places for the cache to hide...but you need to use your...."Thats ackward skill" a bit out here. Very clever cache Took the "handclappers" left a smiley pin. Thanks for the cache!
OUt for a drive and stopped to search for this one ... I couldn't find it, called in Daddy-0 for help from the car and we still couldn't find it ... surprisingly there was a bit of local traffic so we gave up ... will return to search again!
This one had us puzzled for a little while as there were plenty of hidey holes about that we checked first. Not the usual container, but easy to identify as a cache due to the instruction. Once identified it was a moments work to sign the log and away we go. TFTC
Of all the Rubus caches I have found today, and there have been several, this is my fave. TFTC. You obviously have too much thinking time on your hands.
Another fantastically inventive cache. Son, Funsize Manor got to it first but let me open it up. If you keep doing caches like this Rubus I'll run out of favourites. You've scored another one from me. Added a dice just for luck!!

... and the last one on the supermarket detour today. I really had tomatoes on my eyes - as we say in German
Thanks + favourite point

First find since we moved to Arthurs creek and its only meters from home whoop whoop now to get the rest of Arthurs creek done thanks rubus very Bold
A pretty bold hide, which could fool muggles only. Nice opportunity to turn another spot into a smile on our map, together with Buckleysbabe and Jacko83. Thanks for the giggle!
Find number four on a day caching with Suss Vulture and Jacko83. We parked nearby, approached GZ and Jacko83 was on it like a flash! Bold indeed!
Thanks rubus !
Thanks rubus !

How could any wombat be in danger when there is protection like this.
On a quiet back road in an area covered with native animals this is very pretty. Simular to what we saw everywhere when young but things have changed now.
It is great to see well constructed treasure where thought and time have been applied.
Look forward to seeing you at the awards next week rubus.

I've found this cache before, but not in this location. Look a bit of effort to gain entry but all is well.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks rubus for this recycled container. It'a beauty.

Rubus you have just become my favorite cache hider. Absolutely love this one. Logbook was missing so we added some paper.
Fav... after searching for 20 min getting in the car then driving off and decided one more search, and YESSSSSS there it was!
I looked in a couple of places before waking up to exactly where the cache was. A bit of deja vu is going on around here.
This was it, the last of the current Rubus caches for me to find. I parked an wandered over towards GZ. From the logs it appeared that some people had had trouble finding this one so I wasn't sure what to expect. As it transpired, I only needed a very short search...I guess it all depends on whether what you see clicks or not...
Thanks for another great cache Rubus...very clever and worth a Favourite Point. Having your other caches on previous trips, when I set out this morning I feared that I was going to come home needing to find a whole lot more caches to earn the Favourite Points you deserve. Yep, my fears were justified...

Heading down Ridge Rd and this one was next. Considering the last few rubus caches I had done I was expecting a quick find and as the rain was now steadily falling this would have been appreciated. Well this one took some hunting, I was looking high, low and in between and couldn't see anything like a cache. Hmm, what now, do I give up and come back when I widened my search a little and finally saw something and had the cache in hand. This is a brilliant job on this one, always great to find something a little more difficult than normal (though it was a face palm moment when I saw it!) Thanks to rubus for this one, gets a fave from me.
Found this afternoon. SL. Realy like the camo, very unique! TFTC rubus.

Haha, heeded the warning but no wombats visible today. Excellent camo! Sadly I had neither a new logbook nor a stapler in my possession today so just signed under Paul the Hippys name.
This afternoon I have replaced the missing log book with a new one. Thanks very much 'Paul the Hippy' for the temporary repair.
Thanks for bringing this one back to life. A great cache and another favourite from me. Sadly has been muffled. Tftc another favourite
