I thought I would add my name to the growing list of DNF's. I was here with a couple of gGocachers, one of which had found this previously so I'm confidant its not there and needs replacing.
I saw all the dnfs but thought it's such a nice area that we may as well give it a fair go. Gave it a serious 10 mins hunt before conceding defeat. Great spot though.
We had our picnic cookup here and couldn't resist a wee look for poor pawpaw, even though it sounds like it is no more.
Of course it doesn't help that I'm not in charge of reading the cache pages out, so I didn't get the pawpaw reference until now, although I don't know if I'd recognise it anyway. Also, it is always easier to miss a cache that has several DNFs because you aren't really expecting to find it.
Thanks for bringing us to this lovely spot anyway and we soon found this one's neighbour, so we didn't go away empty handed.

Looked under and behind everything in a 10m area. Tried looking outside the square but still nothing
I feel I know this board walk inside out looked long and hard and for a low star rating which should be a quickish find it is either well camoed or may be not there".......I would love to know as I have two goes at this one
Spent far too long looking for this one and in the end, gave up in frustration. We looked everywhere relating to the hint which really could only be in one area. We extended our search in case the coords were a little out but couldn't find it. Its either really well camouflaged and hidden or its missing. We will add it to the watchlist and come back another time.
Took a bit to find and hint wasn't very helpful. Beautiful spot down here kids playing on the rope swing and swimming in the water . tftc
Phew, kids say really confusing, no pawpaw. After some perseverance we eventually re read clue and search the obvious, container pretty wet inside. Tftc
On a caching adventure with Finbop. This one took us a while, the rain came and went, GPS was right first time, we should've looked harder.
Second try for this one and my gps had me much further along the walkway but then it must have woken up and took me straight to GZ.
I knocked the wasps nest off and dried the cache out as best I could. Log was nice and dry though.
Thanks bridgeaway.
Love this spot.

Oh my word, what should have been a simple find led us looking for about 40min, I missed it on the first look and something mentioned in the description and log had us looking elsewhere. GPS was actually bang on and it's just my eyes that need checking! tftc.
over thought this one big time lol - GPS co ord are bang on

Down here on a house hunting trip with a friend and we had time between viewings to pick up a few caches. Didn't spot the Paw Paw but found the cache without too much trouble.
Not much left of the paw paw. Laid hands on this without too much drama. Thanks.
Thought this was going to be quick and easy. Gps had me about 10m away. Persistence paid off and I eventually found it. Thanks.
Headed over this was with Kiwis69 to head to a certain birthday rave in a cave. We set off from Hamilton just on dark and grabbed some caches on the way to fill in time
Made this one a LOT harder than we should off. Will blame the darkness but who knows. Took both of us a lot of looking to find for some reason! Searched every possible location and close to giving up when K69 found it in somewhere I thought I had looked. Opps! Thanks for the cache, feeling a little bit like some paw paw

Taking a circuitous route from Hamilton with 11hpg11 so that we can have a few hours' child-free caching binge on our way to a geocaching birthday rave in cave. Less chance of muggles at this hour too and good fun to test the caching senses in the dark. No-one around which made for an easy search here but, for some reason, it took us ages to find - lets blame the darkness - but finally we came up with the goods. Cache all good, TFTC
On our way back to the main road, we just went for this cache. Simple and easy find
This one looked a bit tough to take the stroller up so Kiwijade stayed with kiwibaby and I ran up the track to get the cache, thanks bridgeaway for another stunning cache the name of it and the clue had me looking around trees for a bit until boom there it is relatively quick find! TFTC
Kiwimikebop did the hard work for this one while I watched the baby.

Quick find on an afternoon walk. Haven't been down here before so thanks for bringing us here.
My first time caching cousin found this one first - she has the knack! Thanks for the cache, and thanks for the walk in the sunshine [^]
Found quickly and in good condition. Along with a massive 'extinct' hornet nest which I've added to the cache for interested little cachers. A quick in and out for us today as we've got a big day planned but TFTC, Another enjoyable stroll.
Paw paw tree is no longer there. A good find. We swapped a bouncy ball for a key ring.
Found the cache without any problems. Intrigued by the nearby tree with it's own means of transport. How in heck did that end up there? TFTC
Another place we have never been before ,a nice walkway to the cache. Just as Jess 88 had mentioned watch out for the wasps. TFTC
Another neat walkway in a place ive never been before we usually stick to the main road. An easy find but watch out for the massive wasp nest close by.
Out collecting a few caches before the BBQ event at Kulim Park later on and trying as best I can to clear out this part of the BOP,
will have to come back and check out this area further in the future

Our second cache of the day. A nice big container and now off to your snail mail cache and we also discovered a TB.
Last one of the day as the light was almost gone and so were my torch batteries. Thanks.
A quick find by Miss H before I'd even got near GZ. TFTC. Kids had fun playing in the tree shown on the cache listing page.
Took a little while... Box is painted dark green.
the paw paw is fallen over and the stump os gonna be rotten soon.

It was a day to got sightseeing over the Bay way today and pick up the odd cache on the way. A nice little walkway along the shoreline.
Cheers for the cache.

Mama found this 1, easy when you have to get low as the boys are reluctant to get down.... [:p]
New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 7, Sapphire Springs to Rotorua. After a few people went past with their dogs I was able to get down and locate this one without getting too wet. Thanks.

Checked on this cache while I was in the area doing maintenance on our other caches. Topped it up with swappables.
Found it... possibly not where it originally was but close enough no doubt. Poor old paw paw. TFTC
A lovely little walkway under the pohutukawas and a favourite for me just for the location. Plenty of couples out today making the most of fairly mild winter conditions.
Found the cache upside down half open in an odd place. The only things inside were the cache note, log and plastic bag for the log. The log wasn't in the bag. I suspect it has been muggled? The log is still dry so bagged it and put the box where I think it was supposed to go.
Many thanks

That paw paw is sad as A dusk find - must come back here in daylight - bet the view is superb! (5/31)
Sadly more of a case of "what paw paw?" these days. Poor old paw paw is lying broken and rotting at the water's edge and Mrs Tparty, who has been sent out to find this on a wet and blustery afternoon owing to Mr Tparty having a school meeting, almost walked right past it. Should have read the logs better I guess as I was looking for a tree not a fallen log. Anyway cache quickly in hand and back along the boardwalk to the shelter of the car before the next rain shower. Would be a lovely stroll on a nice day. Must bring the grandbabies here in the summer. TFTC

it certainly is a poor pawpaw, nice quick walk to find this one on a beautiful winters day
Found with nzkites and Stickman2000 (relogging, previously part of The Brown Treasures). TFTC!
Quite easy, and fun looking for it. Swapped a couple of things in it. Tftc. Found with nzkites. Thanks.
Enjoyed a day out with 'The Brown Treasures' who we introduced to caching today. The pawpaw is still there but looks pretty sad, RIP. Thanks for bringing us to a lovely area, hope to come back and explore more of the boardwalk another day.
We had a day free so made the trip to Tauranga for a day out and
to catch up on a few caches. We have bean here before but never
done the board walk.

Indeed poor poor paw paw, no more. However hide still intact and well covered from the elements. Nice walkway and lovely views. SL. TFTC.
Oh the poor paw-paw is unfortunately very poor. Sorry to bring the sad tidings but it finally broke, probably in the recent heavy weather. It is probably a goner. However the few green leaves and immature fruit on the broken branches are still green. I think these would grow if stuck in the ground, but we didn't do that. Thanks for taking us to this great area...a neat walkway, and with some good photo opportunities of the scenery. And thanks for the cache. We left TB Baby Bunny for Kirsty here for a holiday by the sea.
Good hide and I couldn't believe the Poor Paw Paw still fruits!!! Found with kumara17.
Poor paw paw indeed. No longer standing. Nice little boardwalk along the waters edge. TFTC. Found with heirsback
