Last one before going to pick Tinytree up from school; took a few minutes to locate as I thought it was something different than what it turned out to be. Think I got one of the last remaining spots on the log. TFTC.

Wow this one really blended in. Could see how others might miss it!

Ohhhh this was in a sneaky spot. There are still a few spaces left on the log and we managed to fit our names on it. Tftc

The first time we drove past there was a bloke sleeping in the shelter but when we drove by a little later he was gone so we were able to search for the cache. It took a little while to find, then while we were signing the log we had to wave away a bus that slowed down for us.

Unfortunately after a good amount of time spent on this I was not able to find it.

We tried to introduce our friends to the geocache. This was hard and we did not find this one. So any help to find this would be helpful. Boys were disappointed by their non-find. Maybe a micro was not the best to start with.

Helping Reveurs fill in a calendar day. This one took a bit of time to find. But we didn't give up and Reveurs then had her hand on the cache. TFTC.

Another calendar day to fill in for me finds us (me and Lycurgon) here, after what we thought was a good search we were scratching our heads so went back over everything again and I soon found it Had trouble getting log out of cache and then I thought to use the magnet on the cache to pull out log (has a metal log winder). TFTC

Finding this one turned out to be a bit of a hard case... if you are reading this and haven't been to find this cache before the DEFINITELY DO NOT time your attempt at the same time the school bell across the road lets the kids out. In order to hide my true intentions as to why I was in the area and also to try and not look too dodgy with all the mums passing by with their kids, I simply pretended to be interested in the trees and so I took a couple of shots that I will include with this log. The other thing for me was that after reading plenty of previous logs, I allowed myself plenty of time as I thought that this one might be hard to find based on the writings of previous finders. However, thanks to your hint, and me asking myself the question, 'where would I hide a cache if it were me', I walked straight to the place and pulled it out straight away. So thank you once again UncleSamNZ for taking the time to set up this cache (and all of your other ones). I really appreciate your efforts given the amount of time you invest in making the East Auckland geocaching scene what it is!

So happy to finally log a 'found it ' on this cache !!!!!
Was really bothering me .....accepted a nudge from a local cacher who took pity on my sad logs !

This one has been driving us crazy for a while. For some reason we just couldn't locate its hiding spot.
We saw it had just been found and were pleased to get a few hints from the very kind finder which enabled us to FINALLY get a smiley. Thanks Supernanny
Don't know why we didn't look here before as we pretty much looked everywhere else, we must have been brainwashed by other bus stop caches which tend to be somewhere different.

Thank you Uncle Sam for adopting our caches. We are leaving Auckland, and as we firmly believe cache owners should be able to easily keep a cache maintained we asked USNZ to look after our caches.

Tricky but the clue is key to this. Took us a while but we were stoked to find it. Took a family member keen to have a go and he found it for us!!! Might have him hooked now! We havent signed the log but took a pic - however bit worried that the shot we took may give away clues....so if you need the pic let me know.

Came back for a second look after my first attempt was interrupted by muggles. A 5 minutes search was rewarded. Signed the log and replaced. TFTC

Searched high and low under the cover of darkness. Concentrated on areas that matched the hint, hoping that it was still correct after the replacement. Decided to move on. There's only so much bus stop fondling I can handle before I get my caching-grump on! Best to try another cache and keep my smile the right way round. Little did I know...

Grandchildren Darnika and Kaiden were successful for their first find but didn't sign log as worried we could not return in cache. They suggest small hands and magnet attractor required☺️

Couldn't find it, we searched high and low.

This had been muggled again. Cache has been replaced with a nano and placed in a different area of the structure.

Despite knowing what I was looking for and roughly where it was I couldn't find this one. It may be in too far for my chubby little fingers to reach or it may have been taken again. Can owner please check?

Search for more than 5 mins so thought maybe it hadn't been returned but soon found it!

I found a Kid from Farm Cove Intermediate holding it at Mcdonalds so I currently have it and will place back asap.

Its a shame that old trees can outlive humans. Should be the other way round I reckon. Awesome pine tree, would have loved to see this area as it was when it was planted. Thanks for bringing me here to see it.

Meeting fellow geocachers in the area and used the time before to collect some smiles on the way. This one was a quick and easy find but took me a while to retrieve as it was way up. TFTC

Stopped off quickly to pick up this cache to mark the 15th anniversary of geocaching, luckily it was the weekend so it was pretty quiet TFTC!

Got to GZ and there was a headphoned muggle sitting waiting for the bus. I don't know what he was listening to but it sure wasn't this.

We took a minute or two to discuss our options and right as we had decided we would go he jumped up and grooved off to stand by the sign instead leaving us to search in peace.

Could CO please check that it's still here?

Tried every metal surface within 10m radius and found nothing.

Nice quick find which was exactly what we were after on this cold rainy night - in need of a cache for our calendar matrix. Helpful hint and previous logs helped us find it with ease. TFTC

After 3 very frustrating searches I finally found this one, thanks to the last couple of logs TFTC

In the area for a couple of new caches and decided our June figures needed some work so continued caching in the general area while slowly making our way to some late dinner. Approached GZ and started looking around the namesake of this cache but soon realised where we needed to be. TFTC

Nice people to chat with while catching the bus. Strong mints, strong magnet.

Looked in the wrong place, until I remembered what some of the old logs said. TFTC

Returned for a second attempt at this one, since I read by the last two loggers that it was now within reach (thanks very much!), had it in no time this attempt

Luckily one of my daughters had small enough hands to reach because it had been pushed up quite high. Now placed within reach !!!

Yay we found it! Definitely needed our daughters small fingers for this one.

I think this one may need to be checked.... it has slipped so far into its hiding place (Im certain I could feel it with my pen) that I couldn't reach it.... And I don't have a very big hand!!!

Neat hiding place, quite tricky but got in the end

Today was the Gala at the school across the street, so parking was 200m down the road and there were many muggles all around. I timed my extraction attempts and got the cache unobserved (I hope). TFTC.

We tried to find this one a few months back with no luck. Came back today and found it in one minute! Tftc

Well me Phil and mini geokid looked for ages whilst biggest geokid climbed all the trees in the vicinity. Once he was done he came and asked us what we were doing. We told him and he looked for about 10 seconds and said "is this what you are looking for?" He drives me mad!! SL. TFTC

We had to drop off a family member out this way after a birthday dinner tonight, so took the opportunity to make our daily find a bit further from home. Had no trouble locating the cache, but quite a bit of trouble extracting it from its hiding spot. Managed eventually and gratefully signed the log before returning to the warmth of the car. Thanks.

Finding the park and the Norfolk Pines was the easy part, finding the container took some doing.[8d]

Out with casaba3 and merlot47 to add some smileys to our geocaching maps when we realised we'd be passing this one so of course we had to stop. No-one around luckily so we could hunt in a relaxed fashion. My pocket query didn't have this one on it so going by info from casaba3 we realised after a bit where the search should be and made the find shortly there-after. With finds like this I think my geo senses are getting better (until the next DNF ) Nice hide throwersontour. TFTC!
