This one has been compromised, presumably by local muggles. Will archive until I can come up with a more cunning hide and maybe new location.

Looked for ages through the leaves and flowers but couldn't find. Found this small paper which told us we were in the right spot but no cache in sight
We found this cache on a 2 week trip around Northland, visiting such locations as Opononi, Kaitaia, Cape Reinga, Russel, among many other places.
The path to this cache was very wet, however the cache was dry. TFTC

Found with Redants while on our Far North Road Trip to the Winterless North. We found ourselves in some interesting places that we would not have visited had we not been searching for caches. Thanks to all the cache owners.
With the bad weather forecast in place and with some long working days behind me I decided spontaneous for a “Tapetenwechsel ” taking my car out for a ride up north. On my way I selected some lonely geocaches to avoid spending too much time in the rain . Cache was out in the open and the logbook seems to be used for some the (bad) writing practice by the local kids. TFTC
Out caching around parts of Northland with Tufty. Nice quick find. Interesting to see the oft repeated names on the head stones in this long established cemetery. TFTC.
With BaldEd staying with me for a couple of days it was a joint decision to go North to pick off a few caches in the S36 degree bracket.
Another nice old restful place. Didn't disturb any of the residents.
Cheers for the cache.

Had to abandon ship on this one. Wasn't ill I approached it that it occurred to me that it was at a church on Easter Sunday! Too many people around And I look quite suspicious poking around hehe Next time....
A nice wee church and some interesting history about Jesse, found it while Hangin’ around with Yeetrees, many thanks for the nicely hidden cache.
Great cache to chalk up 1000.Even better with my adorable little helper .Ended up easier than I thought, thanks for the interesting history.
Update.. Just had to add this but a minute after I hit the send button "Jesse " by Carly Simon came on the radio.. A bit spooky .

A pretty little graveyard, great to wander around. I knew exactly where it would be on driving up but it took a while to find. Eventually found through feeling, not a method I suspect you enjoy based on your GC name! TFTC
Had a huge day planned today to gather at least 50 caches which were at least 1km apart from the last, for part of the geo-licence series. We started out earlier with the first cache found just after sun rise, and the last log being signed about 15 hours and near 500kms later.
We had an epic time on this trip and saw some great places along the way, through an area we had both travelled through many a time but never stopped. Thanks for everyone who had placed a cache along our route so we could finally stop and see the sights.
#12. GPS was playing up so had to do a couple of U-turns before we turned up the right road. Cache was a little out of reach, but still manage to retrieve the cache and sign the log. Saw the ponies down the road also.

Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
See rebel98 log, needed to stretch. Loved the detour from the main road. Thanks again for the hide.

We said Hi to Jesse. It was a small stretch. Loved the detour and took lots of photos. Thanks for bringing us here.
My arms definitely aren't long enough for this one-had to enter Jesse's enclosure-tftc
Left calling card, notepad is damp.
We had been passing the cemetery virtually every day on the way to Waipu Cove.

We had always intended to take a look up this little road as we passed by on the way to Pahi but finally had a compelling reason for the detour. Very pretty little spot (both of them) and with a friendly foxy showing the way we soon pinpointed the spot. Easier to get the little cache out than get it safely back into position but the long armed one was handy.
Nice Quick Cache, came on Sunday, Bad idea all the church people were about luckily i wasn't seen

Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
Took some time to spot this in the dark, and some effort to put it back.
Logged as RAD together with renelm and aedk.

A little odd to have a cache placed right there.. we used two sticks to retrieve and replace the cache. I wonder what the neighbours think

I am not much of a logwriter, so see renelms, and possibly Difools, log for details.

The first find for our team! Our arms weren't nearly long enough. Had a wander around and visited an old family friend so thanks Arachnaphobe

Two of the team were heading up north for a couple of days and this was our first stop from home. New churchyard for us and a great little place for a cache. Thanks
I just popped in to check cache....all good. I also dropped off blue beetle TB.
Our very first find. Heaps of fun but took us a while. Our arms weren't long enough!
I was hanging around for a while before I found the cache. Got it in the end. Bigger than I thought it would be. Thanks.
Revisited today and left my Housie number; 'Buckle My shoe 32'. No sign of you on the log yet Olneyson! Have you been back here?
HOUSIE 'Buckle my shoe 32'
Found during my return trip to Dargaville after attending Haley and Shane's wedding.
Sorry Olneyson, I beat you to this one. I will return and drop my housie disc number though so perhaps Olneyson will have found it before then.

3.35pm. We had a brief look here on our way through this morning but the back room of the Church was full of muggles with a clear view out the window. So we left it until on our way home. Granddaughter found this as soon as she climbed over the fence while we were struggling from being too short in the arms!!
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Was in the vicinity participating in the HCMC Wearmouth Road Rallysprint, and since we were seeded last, we had a bit of time between the recce run our our 1st timed run, so popped in here to look for Jesse. Didn't have the co-ordinates, so had a wander around the Anglican cemetery, before ambling down the road to look around the Methodist cemetery, but no Jesse tombstone of the appropriate age was spotted. So, back to the Anglican cemetery and thinking like a geocacher, the grave was quickly found in the obvious spot (don't know how we missed it earlier). Perhaps Sunday morning wasn't the best time to visit, because a service was being conducted in the church, and as we looked, somebody came out of the church towards us. Was readying my geocaching explanation in my head, when his opening gambit was "Are you two geocachers ?". Recognised the cache owner from last week's event, so had a chat, while my co-driver spotted the cache. A 2TF for us. Thanks for the cache, and nice to see you again Arachnaphobe.
driving past on my way to auckland today. so a nice quick stop in to Hang out with Jessie. Had a wee walk about visiting and reading many gravestones in this beautiful restful place. Jessie was located and managed to extend my arm enough to grab hold, sign empty log and replace thanks.
