Adelaide Leap Day trip. Day 8. Things have accelerated here in Adelaide after the actual Leap day dates, and today there was a bit of a split in the force. LaFavorite Cacher Headed off to New Zealand, but will come to the Canberra mega, so I hope to see you there. About half of the team headed out into the hills to tackle the SFE challenges up by Norton Summit and Cherryville. My day started with Gliss and NibletRiceCakes for a walk around the North Adelaide parklands to try for the TOTT series and the other caches here. We then collected Barb2e and headed to the inner north at St Clair for some events. We then set about collecting caches in the area before we expired due to heat and over exercise where the four of signed as BANG. An afternoon on the Balcony at Princess Lodge followed with heaps of pre dinner snacks. The last activity for the day was the evening event over looking the city at Lights vision, plenty of teams present. I then headed home for some long overdue sleep at this stage and the others continued o\to a deliver chinese dinner.I have had the chance to solve or work out many puzzle caches before this trip, and that has given us a very wide selection of caches to choose from. This was another cache solved during the day today, so we had to stop to visit th GZ.Thanks for the cache *Cache_or_Check*45709.38 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Fish A#63**Albida**

Sussed this mystery last night and after nearly over thinking the numbers I had, I swiftly realised I had them correct and solved this afternoon! This was on my way home after finding another cache. Arrived at GZ and saw the cache right away, very much appreciate quick finds!

Took me a little while to solve until I had the aha moment. I was in the area with a bit of time to spare and a travel bug to drop off. Love the container. It was not in the ideal spot but found a makeshift tool to make my arms a little longer. Had the log in hand. Gust of wind. Oh no I thought as I watched the container roll away from me and absolute relief when it rolled back to me. So all is back as it was. I love these kind of caches. Fave point from me.
A great hide, exactly what I thought it would be on approach, thanks for the neat puzzle and hide. This was one of many found this evening with weredunn4, thanks for placing this fun cache for us. TFTC
A quick find, sign & return on this one……nice hide and so obvious right under people noses gets a favourite point from me

I decided to go out for a few caches before the Fulham Gardens event today. Mostly solved mysteries.
Once I got my head on straight it was an easy solve.
I got to GZ. Damn. I've been here to pick up car parts from directly across the road for work only about a month ago! Never knew I was in the presence of a cache.
Such an awesome, well crafted hide.
Favourite point allocated.
Cache retrieved and signed with stamp.
Thanks *Cache_or_Check* for this cache.

Cruising the map looking for puzzles to satiate my daily needs. This one pops up and I had an idea what was required. Love the Doh! message. I revised and resubmitted to get a green tick. After dinner tonight, when the traffic had died down, I headed down here to have a look in the dark. Thankfully I didn't have to get down and dirty, cut and cobwebby, needing a firewoman to attend to my dirt and injuries. I checked out the other thing and returned to the headlights to reveal a nice hide. I bet the huntsman was pleased to be heading away from the light, I am sure happy he was anyway.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cool cache CoC.

I was in the area getting another puzzle cache, so I thought since this was long ago worked out to come log it. Cache was in good condition, if you have children, this is a nice one for swag.
With the borders finally open to WA we are heading across to see some old friends that aren't travelling too well at the moment, some how or other we mixed up our flight time as we thought that our flight was a 7,30 am time slot but it was actually 7,30 pm giving us an extra twelve hours caching time,
With no plans we thought that we would concentrate on puzzles that we had solved during the Covid 19 lock downs in Melbourne and also a few multi's for a personal challenge we are working on.
We have only met Heidi once and that was many, many years ago with Honeysucker so we found it a little difficult to look through her eyes but we still managed to sort through the puzzle . This was another one we wanted off the list this trip and once at gz there was a quick search when Diane spotted something which happily turned out to be the cache container the log of which now contains our name and everything as been put back as it was.
Many thanks for the puzzle and nice hide.

Tftc!! Solved this years ago but finally found time to visit this cache, great hide. Found with conardel, dropped off TB
Following the podcast this evening, gridge98 and I collected a few puzzle finals that we had solved between us. One of our targets was one that hadn't been found for a few years, and made sure to bring a few TOTTs us.
A final one for us this evening, and one that I had solved many moons ago, attracted the low difficulty and hence beginner Geocacher friendliness. Tonight, it was a quick park, and gridge98 found this well disguised cache. Thanks Cache_or_Check!

Last Monday night at https://coord.info/GC83R9X Creation Celebration: Story sharing workshop by GoodLook I heard Mrs Scoobster tell the story of the first finder for this cache. I recognised it as a puzzle that I had solved, that remained on the “to find” list waiting for a time when I was near GZ to make the find. Tonight I had to drop my son off for a visit at the Angle Park Fire Station and had enough time to get just one cache before I collected him to go home. I was thinking it would be a quick traditional find, but the nearest cache was this one and GZ was close enough in the time I had so it was quickly targeted and I headed to GZ.
Cache found and retrieved without knocking it over, or needing a step or crutches or wedging myself in behind the structure. Compared to the Team Scoobster story, mine was pretty plain.
A great cache container. Lots of swaps. I will have to bring the kids back here sometime.

Surprisingly my equal opportunity head fell for the red herrings twice. Eventually I paid attention. Of course the checker eventually checked. A nice little puzzle and a clever hide. It all came together. TFTC
In the area with steamer531. Solved this some time ago, just not in the area much. TFTC
Back in not so sunny Adelaide for work, I swung bu this one on the way to the airport for my return flight to Brisbane. It was damp, very damp but the rain had eased enough to pul up and make a swift grab of the container... [^]
Back to the car for business it was more of a challenge getting the log out than it was retrieving the cache. Once that was done though, I added my name, returned everything to the container and replaced as found.
A nicely constructed cache. We always enjoy an IPS container that muggles completely overlook..
Cheers *Cache_or_Check*.

Oh that's annoying... Spotted the cache on approach, but two muggles standing within a couple of meters meant I was not going to get my name in the log this time. So, it will have to wait til later in the year when I next visit SA.
Wandered out here on a free afternoon thinking I may see some hunky firemen - but none to be found while I was sitting in my car casing the cache

Out for a drive for a couple of hours today in the industrial heartlands to find a few on my solved puzzle list. I am sure that I drove past quite a few more that I am yet to attempt to solve, but there is only so much looking at photographs, guessing words and numbers and converting to and from bases that I can cope with at a time. Liked the hide. Thanks *Cache_or_Check* for the puzzle and the cache.
Solved this one last week no trouble at all [^] but i had to wait till the right time to approach GZ. I chose tonight, Thu 2 March 2017, at 20:10, well and truly after working hours so i could conduct a search. It wasn't too long and it was 'Cache In Hand' [^]... i like it too (Fave point). I was at the Hilton Woolies last night and there was a Fireman selling Calendars of 'You know what' , this cache and it's title came to mind and i had a chuckle, so i thought i'd better go grabski tonight SL and returned the hide back to it's hidey spot. TFTC a classic, *Cache or Check*
Dropped in and grabbed this cache while out and about with Deb and brisal5. Heidi still drools. Tftc.
Today promised to be grand day for SA Sewer Rats. [^] Today we were going to make another attempt to have her in Reel Nirvana. An earlier attempt when three away resulted in running out of time at the penultimate cache find, with no time to go for a walk around Anstey Hill. And then BFE published a further 3 mystery caches. So once again requiring four this time, with Mrs. Aussie M&M I headed out and picked up Mrs. Sewer Rat. As usual we didn't just limit ourselves to just those four and found a few others on our way to Nirvana.
Between two and three for the rat's Nirvana we made a detour to grab a couple for Mrs. M and me.
Mmmm. Never seen one of those atop one of these before. Must be the cache. Thanks *Cache or Check* been wanted to grab this ages.

Having had to take dad's car north to get serviced I decided I had enough time to pick up a few caches whilst I was waiting. Some generally quick finds were made, along with some good hides. No six-packs were spotted today.
Tricky place to get to as i came from the north and foolishly took the high road. This brought me out passed the turn- off so i had to do a lap of the suburb to find my way back to GZ. Once i found the street there is no parking on both sides so i had to risked it to get the biscuit.

I got a green tick on the checker in September last year, after a couple of wrong tries. I remember it took a bit of lateral (literal?) thinking to get the right numbers.
Today we were heading home from Kadina, late on a Sunday arvo, so decided to swing by when we knew the area would be a ghost town. The initial object fitted with the theme, and then we saw the very obvious cachey object. Nice hide, glad to finally add our names to the log sheet.

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Had looked at this one several times and tried a few things but no success. The other night I had another look and the solution just jumped out at me. Had a couple of false starts with geochecker that made me laugh but confirmed that I was on the right track. soon got the green tick. Hooray. Plotted GZ and planned the find. Called in and there were no muggles as it was a 43 degree day and spotted the hide immediately. Loved it. Retrieved cache and signed the log and replaced. Gratias pro cache. Favourite point applied.
I thought too hard about this puzzle but then had the light bulb moment. Checked the geochecker, all good so off to the cache. Luckily no muggles so I could take my time and admire. Great cache, thanks "cache or check".
Bonza! Didn't solve the puzzle, and put 2 red frownies on the checker. I checked my 2 "wrong" coords on street view and one of them I thought was around the mark. Today the cache was found. The cache is a classic. Thanks for the puzzle and TFTC!
This was one of three CoC puzzles that I managed to solve on the same day. Feeling pretty chuffed about that
I admit I was suckered at my first attempt. I obviously don't have Heidi's finely tuned eye.

Well that was fun, got to GZ and saw what was possibly the cache. After attempting the extraction it seemed that this particular item was not what we were looking for hmmm. Mrs SASR was adamant that it was so she attempted the grab once more and was successful however with clumsy hands lost the container in a small crevice. Hmm now what. Fortunately she had a suitable tool to retreive to the humour of the snake. If only my camera was handy, watching a rat climb up onto a structure. That will not be forgotten in a hurry. TFTC and the laugh.
I have had this puzzle worked out for over 12 months.
Today was the day to find it.
Arrived at GZ, spotted what we needed to sign the log.
Mr Blackadder was not sure .hmm
I decided that one mare go to extract the container was in order.
As I removed the cache I dropped it down a tight crevice.
So back to the car to get the appropriate geo tool.
Back to gz a small climb, use geotools and grab the cache.
Signed the log and replaced, all is in good condition.
Giving this a fav for all the effort of retrieval of cache. lol tftc

Although we didn't know the background, it didn't take long to get some coordinates whic satisfied the geochecker. Then during a previous visit to Adelaide we met the subject of this cache and learnt about the cakground which led to the cache being created. Toda we went to look for the cache and, once we had the correct coordinates in our GPS, we were able to make a quick find, seing the probable hide as we pulled up in our car. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for an amusing puzzle "*Cache or Check* and thanks for a good hide. A favourite from us.

Yesterday we were shopping at the Parade in Norwood and were accosted by men who hold hoses trying to get us to buy calendars, Heidi would have been drooling at them.
We had swung by GZ for this one a few weeks ago but were muggled out by a group of people standing around directly opposite the cache. No such problems on Christmas day, we had the place to ourselves and could grab and sign the cache in a flash.

The geochecker for this one took me a few attempts because there were a few 'categories' of people that didn't count (obviously!). Anyway, I've been sitting on these coordinates for a while, so it was very satisfying to cross this cache off the to-do list. Nice concept at GZ too

Solving the puzzle took me many tries !!
I just couldn't seem to extinguish the possibilities !! [:o]
My first attempt at getting the 'checker' to agree with me did give me hope of a solution eventually (very funny !!)
Finally the fire was out and I could sleep soundly knowing that I had somewhere to ride to on my fire engine red pushbike this morning
I sped into GZ on the deserted road.
Well this should be an easy find
There was an obvious place to look ....
.... er .... where's the cache ??
It finally clicked and I soon had the cache in paw.
Now I was even happier that the area was deserted

This simple(?) puzzle cache works really well on two levels. First, the puzzle seems easy enough except it's not. However, the handy hint after our fail quickly got us the right coordinates, and today was the day when we went to visit GZ (Sunday=Visit the industrial lands day). The other pleasant surprise is the container . Easily a favourite. TNLNSL TFTC
Worked this one out a while back. Today was the opportunity to look for it. A quick find. Thanks Cache or Check.
Knowing Heidi and her keenness for Firemen this was indeed a clever little hide in a great location. So on a night time frenzy of caching with a nocturnal maddycat we found this one after midnight. No torches required for this one.

Finally got to GZ and parked in the shade. About to get out and start looking when a muggle pulled up, waited and watched while he took over 10 minutes to check out a nearby sign. At last, and the wait was well worth it for the nice container.

Working through the list of suggested puzzles for the Puzzles for Beginners Workshop 2 event this puzzle had been solved on a hot night and now it was time to go and get it. But Ismartis nearly got more than she bargained for.
Firstly there were road works and lengthy detours which made an already long trip even longer. Then when looking for the cache a security car pulls up close by and a guard gets out of the car. Oh dear, just how is she going to explain standing suspiciously next to 4 bags of soil that looked very much like they had just been used to grow illegal substances? Hmmm....this probably isn't a good place to visit in the dark...... although maybe if I stand here quietly I won't be noticed...........fingers crossed
In the end after a few tense moments Ismartis was grateful for the cover of darkness and the tree that provided some welcome shielding when the security guard moved on after checking a gate. All this and she hadn't even got her hands on the cache yet. But with the coast clear she soon had it in hand, signed and back in place as this was not a spot she wanted to linger any longer than was necessary.
In fact she must say she enjoyed doing the puzzle far more than the retrieval. The best part was getting it wrong the first time and the funny message she got from the geo checker. She's definitely agreeing with Heidi on that one!
TFTC *Cache_or _Check*. SL & left TB, took cockroach as momento, left stickers and have a favourite point.
Exciting day 45 of consecutive geocaching.

Due to a double-logging of a cache that Owl can’t identify, this could actually have been her 2000th cache. The celebration was yesterday at the cache geocaching.com says was her 2000th cache, so she thought her 2001th should be something memorable as well. This has been a nemesis cache. Owl solved the puzzle and located the cache, but logging it was an entirely different matter. That damned magnet just wouldn’t come loose. Today, armed with a stepladder and more leverage, it gave up very quickly. No fire-fighters materialised to help celebrate, which was a bit of a disappointment.
I'd had this one solved for a long time, but just wasn't in the area to go for the retrieval.
(Although for a CoC puzzle cache it was pretty easy ... and as an often frustrated CoC puzzle attemptee, it was nice to have an easier one!)
Anyway, decided to go to the GZ location for the find.
Found a structure which fitted the theme of the cache ... now is that part real or fake? Do I dismantle it or by doing so am I going to set some sort of alarm off? Wandered away to look to see if there was anything else that was likely to hide the cache ... nope ... nothing ... Fortunately it was a quiet Sunday afternoon and no one was around at GZ location .... back to this "real or fake" thing to have a closer look ... oh, well what the heck ... decided it was fake and decided to try "lightly" unscrewing it ... what's this plastic bag ... log book! Nice camo!!
Nice puzzle and cache CoC! Have a Fav point from me.
Took TB "A Little Green Ham".
Seek3r-ed and found!

I worked the puzzle out with my friend. I loved your cache. Left TB A Little Green Ham.
Thanks *Cache_or_Check* for the cache

It was a great day to head down to LeFevre Peninsula and try and clear the map and I nearly did. There were some that required some walking and others that were park and grabs, but plenty of variety.
That is some clever camo. TFTC.

Solved this one after making the critical error on the first go!!
So decided to go and find the cache tonight after work. Took a slight detour (if you call 20 km slight ) and arrived at GZ with not a fireman in sight or any other person for that matter. [^] [^]
After reading and enjoying Mrs Scoobster's log I came armed with my geosteps which made getting to the cache that much easier. No disasters getting to the log, so signed it and replaced all as found. What a great cache container.
Took TB Blaze.
Thanks for an easily solved puzzle and the hunt Cache_or_Check.

I agree with the last post, great to see this kind of cache!

Found as part of our 31 puzzle caches in August challenge.
Not a difficult puzzle but a fun one. Pa Kettle collected this one on the way home from work when all was quiet in the area.
A good hide. It is nice to see these sort of hides rather than the common container thrown under a bush.
Thanks for the challenge Cache or Check

Enjoyed solving the puzzle after taking into account only what Heidi would. Not too much activity at GZ to thwart the search for the clever hide. Thanks for the cache *Cache or Check*!
Found It!
That's possibly the easiest CoC puzzle I've ever done!
Didn't see any fireman at GZ. Heidi will be disappointed...

Wow! Wow to the hide, Wow to the puzzle, Wow to the effort taken creating and making this hide.
Team effort required, with Mum doing the initial drooling and workings out. Muggle friend had the first look, then the spidermonkey went in for find. Mum discarded her suggestion, then decided closer inspection was needed.
This one also gets a fave point from us, they always do when an injury occurs, albeit small.
Thanks again *Cache or Check*

The puzzle was fairly easy except for a nasty twist that I half expected but could do nothing about [:p].
But the hide was a brilliant effort and despite being the first place I looked, completely fooled me [:p].
Cheers for a great cache!
