Logs
Just realised I hadn’t logged this event. Was there with my family. My first big event.
The time has come to Archive this event, but you can still log your attendance or post pics. If anyone finds any of the 'missing TB's' they can still be logged too. or if anyone has any negative/neutral feedback please feel free to email us as if we do continue with planning to move forward with a bigger event we would hope to improve on this event.
It will only improve if we know of any teething problems that may have been encountered with this event.
Please if you come across any more photos please add them to the gallery, would love to see more pics of teams on the hunt.
See you out and about in the coming years!

Sadly we have marked the 4 cute TB's still logged at the event as missing. We hope they turn up soon.
We will be archiving the event shortly but thought there might have been some more photos of cachers attending the event to be posted?

Bummer about the missing TBs
A TB I picked up in Busso wants to go to the Gero event ... I can drop it into Coogee Travel Bug Motel ( GC3903Y ) if someone going to Gero wants to pick it up ???

I am concerned about my "missing" pirate / Allied Pranksters TB'
A lot of care & work went into this one. May not put any more out then

Okay so I can only assume that the 4 TB's STILL not logged are because someone doesnt know how to log them.
If you pick up a TB from any cache including an event you need to log them as retrieved!
It was part of the newbie FAQ's session guys, these TB's belong to others.
Most distressing is Luna Maya cute TB hasn't even clocked up a single kilometre.
Somebody must have picked up the pirate ship. Please check for any of the TB's and if you need to ask how to log then please please do.
If not located in the next 24hours we will be forced to mark them 'MISSING' we have attached a photo of this missing TB.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments about the event. We are glad that you had a blast! That was the intention.
There are still some TB's logged at the cache. If you picked up a TB from the trackables table NOW is the time to have already logged it into your possession.
It is quite sad that there are some still not logged and to top it off some brand new TB's who debuted at the event havent even kick started their adventures.
Come on gang let's not let the team down now!

Not signing a log book sadly, but a couple of my new pen working hard in the Pilbara
Skippy46 & OOH YEH signed a very damp log today at the site of where once stood the historical 100yr old Mt Lawley School, which sadly was burnt down in 2012.
They are re-building the school and I'm pretty certain our Mitsubishi Power Tank pens will still be signing our names reliably when the school re-opens in a couple of years.

Just arrived back home in Geraldton and have a couple of photos of the marvelous Mitsubishi pen we were lucky enough to receive at the event. Wow it works well out in the field - it proved its worth in the damp Busselton weather. Now to find out where we can buy some in Geraldton.
We love our Mitsubishi Power Tank pens. Great for day to day use !
I signed a damp log book today in the rain ( Luna Maya). You can clearly see my name on logbook, while other names look faded. Amazing

Anyone interested in seeing the article about the big event in the local paper check out the photo in our log of 28/7.
As you can imagine we were delighted to have most of our 'stuff' returned undamaged. Very many thanks to those folks who have messaged us that they too were pleased at the result and wishing us well.
We had a fantastic time at the event meeting so many nice folks....it has been the highlight of our WA adventure ( and there have been many).
Many thanks to everyone again. [^]

Thanks everyone for your kind words about the event. We would like to draw your attention to the last log by Sylken and the mention of the newspaper article in the local paper.
Also disappointingly there are still 29 trackables still logged at the event. PLEASE PLEASE if you have picked up a trackable at the event to help them complete their mission you SHOULD have already logged them as 'retrieved' from the event so that they are in your inventory!
We DO NOT want to be marking 29 TB's belonging to others as 'missing' - this is always the biggest headache/heartache to event organisers. Please help to relieve the pain and log those TB's into your possession.
Now for those who are trying to track down the official count we had 255 people attend from 136 teams.
Can you all please check your previous logs, it seems some teams have attended '3' times whilst doing TB drops etc so those logs need changing to 'write notes' so that you only attend once each.
Anyone who didn't make it and has coins/Tshirts to collect I should be able to get to the post office tomorrow to check postage costs then we will be ready to organise money transfers and get these items out to you.
See you out and about caching sometime!

Another awesome event in W.A., thanks to Felix II and all their helpers for organising this great event.
We had a great time meeting many different people, and taking part in the activities . It's impressive how the activity can appeal to such a wide age range.. Many thanks to all who organised the weekend.
Woo Hoo Good news folks 'Sylken' just received a phone call from the local Police station and their stuff has been handed in.
Everything has been located except the Cash.
Sylvia, Ken and us are ecstatic - thank you so much for all your concern and thoughts.
Oh and they now have all those photos of us to post to the event page. lol.
Thanks again!

The better half and I enjoyed the whole weekend and managed to get a few caches (60+) done even though we spent most of the time in the hall over the two days. Nice to meet all the cachers that I did throughout the event.
Thanks FelixII, and all the other helpers, for organising the event and hope another like it can be arranged in the future.

Great event & weekend. Thanks so much for all your effort. Really well organised! Thanks!
We really enjoyed meeting all the new faces and found the puzzle sessions very interesting. Thank you very much to all involved in a great event! A special thank you to Mr and Mrs FelixII for all your efforts!!!!
Thanks for the lovely weekend, great to meet people we've only read about or stumbled across in the dead of night chasing fire tacks
Had a wonderful weekend meeting alot of very nice fellow geocachers, great to see all of the kids getting into it. Thankyou to FelixII for organising such a fun and informative event.
Had an absolutely awesome time this weekend, thanks for organising such a great event guys and we will always be willing to give you guys a hand because you put soooooo much effort into planning/running it, and thanks to all the other people that helped too.... I know it certainly makes an event organisers job a lot less stressful when people muck in and get the job done.
A big TFTE guys.
A big TFTE guys.
Thanks to everyone who helped with the event and to those who attended!
We had a blast.
We would also like to ask that you take a photo using your power tank pen. Especially out in the geo world upside down, on manky logs, or even soaking wet logs.
we forgot to ask and need to supply some to the sponsor! If you can upload to the cache page please.
Still trying to catch up with the TB's. If you have picked up a TB at the event remember you need to retrieve it from the event.
If you can email us the tracking number to help with compiling a full list of trackables at the event that would be appreciated.
If you include your email address in your email we can return email with a full list of the trackables we have for discovering at the event. We also have a link to an email site where you log the tracking numbers and 1 message and it logs all the 100+ trackables!
Enjoy. Thanks again.

Thanks Mr & Mrs FelixII & friends who helped plan a great event,
even though we couldn't get there 'til late saturday arvo..
geo grandkids (two of team shanas) had a great time with the kids activities,
and we were able to do a couple of caches with them without to much groaning.
many thanks to all those who donated prizes for the raffle ,
(so surprised to have our name called out.) &
great to have seen so many geocachers attend.

Well, what can we say. We had the most wonderful time at our second ever event. Our first was in Tassie and 35 people attended. Here in Busselton over 250 attended and it was so nice to meet new geofriends and put faces to the names of many people whose caches we have found, or whose logs we have followed.
The hard work and organisation put in by Felixll and their large team of willing helpers made for a very enjoyable weekend. So nice to see junior cachers joining in the fun and gaining rewards for their efforts.
We learnt so much about geocaching at the presentations, bought ourselves a few geo bits and pieces and are now the very proud owners of a stunning event geocoin. (Many thanks to AlliedOZ/The Jokers )
As many would know we experienced a bit of a hiccup during the event and the very kind offers of help we were given by several people....who we had only just met....very quickly restored our faith in human nature.
All of the missing items have been returned (except the cash) however a few bits had been cancelled for security reasons, the wifi modem being one of them. However we are now able to log these finds thanks to Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder who have very kindly lent us their modem to be able to use the internet while we wait for our new one to arrive. (They don't need theirs at the moment as they are too busy cycling around Busso with their little dog trailing behind in his own geomobile....they are caching of course
A fantastic weekend where we have met many new geofriends....and Woohoo!!! this little beauty is our 1500th GC find.
Thanks everyone for your kindness and friendship and special thanks to D'n'D [^][^][^][^]

What a truly brilliant event. Due to family needs we had to leave about 4pm on Saturday, much to our disapointment. Would love to have stayed on to meet other cachers, Top marks to D&D. Very very well done,

Great weekend, nice to be able to put faces to names and met new cachers on the loose..... look forward to being able to find more caches with new knowledge of how to.
Once again thanks for great weekend.
Once again thanks for great weekend.
Had a great time meeting more people and putting names to faces! Thanks again FelixII and friends for all your efforts!

Woohoo, find number 1300!
Great event guys, well organised and a great weekend away from the big smoke.
Even with the whole family in tow I still managed to get a dozen or so caches found plus my first CITO!
Thanks David & Dea for overseeing the Biggest Event to ever hit WA, glad to have been a part of it!

I have been looking forwards to this for months. It was an amazing event and you guys did such a great job putting it together. It was nice to meet some new faces, find some caches and explore busselton. Thanks Felix!
Wow that was a great weekend! Very well organised and everything seemed to go smoothley. It was great making a weekend of it so we could relax instead of rush in, around, and out... Loved the different talks and learnt a lot. Thanks to `all`, for the time and effort put into their sections, and Especially to Dea &David!!! Won some things, had great fun swapping pathtags, and meeting lots of others! incl SA couple! Thanks again!
My first event (with my own team name) this was the best weekend ever! Mum bought me down here, while dad and my brother stayed at home. We met lots of people, did lots of caches and hung out with some of our friends, Wileyclan and Luna Maya. Mum even bought me some coins and i won a tracking bug. This has been my most favourite weekend! Thanks for having us here at this event!
I so wished that I could have attended even a small part of this event. Unfortunately I was unable to get away from from the mountain biking event being held in Dunsborough, and could only make it to the hall around 1:30pm on Sunday, by which time everyone had already left.
I did manage to meet a couple of cachers at the letterbox hybrid cache, so that's proof I was in town this weekend lol.

A wonderful, wonderful time due to the great fellowship of fellow cachers and such professional organising by FelixII and their team. Many thanks to you all!
We hitched up, we drove 700 kilometres we had a fantastic time and now it is time to hitch up again to make the 700 kilometre trip back home to Geraldton. A huge thanks to FellixII and everyone who put so much of their time and effort to make this such a successful event. We enjoyed catching up with many of our old cacher friends, some of whom we haven't caught up with for several years, we also enjoyed meeting so many geocachers who have more recently joined our ranks. So many new team names for us to try to remember but now when we do venture back down to Perth and see a name on a log we might just be able to say "ah, we met them at Busso".
Thanks again
Thanks again
To all those who helped out organising the weekend - Thanks for a great weekend. It was fantastic to meet so many cachers. The kids loved all the activities at the hall even if they did get a bit bored with mum wanting to go find caches.
My first event with my own geocaching name. Had fun and found a few caches. Thanks.
Was too young to have an account back in 2013, however I was logged under my father's account AlliedOz, and have attended every WAGB event since. I remember having a great time in the hall while dad managed the geo coin table
Creating a log under my own name.
Chwiliwr and I enjoyed the whole weekend and managed to get a few caches (60+) done even though we spent most of the time in the hall over the two days. Nice to meet all the cachers that we did throughout the event.
Thanks FelixII, and all the other helpers, for organising the event and giving us a wonderful time.

Dea said that their aim was to gather everyone together at the start of the event - all in one room so that the number of like minded people was apparent and that we would all get the feel of the event. They definitely achieved this........
An event like this doesn't come off without a huge amount of work and attention to detail, and this had very obviously been done......in bucket loads.
Thanks to all involved - we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Had a fun weekend in Busselton with my family (jasenjanine) and had a great time at the event... I especially liked seeing all my friends and the kids raffle, me & my little brother got tattoos Thank you FelixII
Atttended this one with our GeoFriends managed to pick up yet more tricks of the trade.
Yep - Attended and it was great to see a few old faces (sorry Ian)! Also nice to meet a few new ones - perhaps a joint caching trip later this year may arise. This was a great weekend and anyone who didn't attend really missed out. I did arrive later than I had planned, so even I missed out on some talks. Thanks to FelixII for organising this grand event - future event planners now have a standard to live up to.
Had an awesome time. Great to see some old faces and meet some new ones.
Once again, thanks ever so much to Mr & Mrs FelixII for arranging and amazing event. Where would the WA caching community be without you?
