09:13Nearly there! one last day on the road, before The Great Leap Forward Event set up is in sight or maybe hearing! Morning walk fitted in well here. Thanks to brisal5 for hiding caches to be found en route to the Mega. 36586
Another day out with the JAMS team primarily to host our first CITO at Mt Barker summit. We had time for a few caches and Adventure Labs on our way, then when the CITO was finished we headed to Lobethal and surrounds. The day started out cold but the rain held off until the afternoon when we stopped for some lunch. By the time we had finished lunch the rain had stopped so we were able to find a few more caches before heading home.
Another one that the others have already found and now I have too.
Thanks for the cache brisal5.

Found by torchlight on my 3rd attempt. It's not the kind of place you can hang around too long, as you look kind of dodgy! That's what cut my first quick search short. I knew where it would be but needed to broaden my horizons a little. Tried a second time with Chookster , on a freezing cold November evening, in drizzle and strong wind, but gave up when my hands and face turned blue! Tonight it was a quick find while i prayed for no one to drive past and wonder what on earth I was doing! TFTC, clever spot.
Quick find today so could put a Smilie here after a DNF last time . TFTC TNLNSL
Volunteered to come up to mount Barker hardly normal to pick up my daughter's phone that she purchased online then decided to take a longer way home.
I don't think I have ever been over this bridge but have been under plenty of times.
Loved the peace interrupted by heavy transport thundering underneath.
FP for the cool location

Staying in Mt Barker with iluvtrekking over the long weekend and caching in the surrounds. This is our type of caching - the suburbs are not for us! Thanks brisal5
Another cache found with richlink during our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Today found us were discovering the delights of Mr Barker and surrounding countryside. Thanks to all the CO for placing these caches

Quick find while out and about the area. The fear of heights was a bit of a detractor but thankfully it was over very soon!

Full time nomads exploring SA. We headed out with a list hoping to complete all of the multi caches that we had started on Monday afternoon. Once the list was completed we found ourselves in Nairne so we decided to tackle the AdLab before heading home. Of course it took us way longer than we expected.
sadly our day finished with a DNF too.

Good find. Was on the wrong side for a bit. Cache didn't have a lid but wasn't weather damaged.
The usual Wednesday wanderings albeit without one of our usual crew so a trip to try and clear out his neck of the woods. Maybe call in for a coffee. Thanks for the cache and placement Overly Confusing , brisal5

Thought we would check out what was overly confusing.

I had a quick look at this one yesterday, but it started raining and the search was called off. Spectacular weather today, and a quick find happened, thanks for placing Brisal5.
Sir_spectre, allister w, and I went out for another Sunday geocaching adventure. Today we went to the hills. We got to one event and I revisited a few old finds and found a few new ones.

Stayed in the area after a breakfast event in Mt Barker. Found after a short look in both directions... photo not at GZ! TFTC
After ascending Mt Barker Summit for the 1st time ever this morning and thoroughly enjoying myself, gabbing 4 hides and a possible EC, i made my way down to snaffle this one before going to do a Multi or two around Mt Barker or Littlehampton [^]
A bit of a feel and search towards the 'middle' the cache was soon in hand and it's log signed at 10:29 on Thu 6 Feb 2020.
[The cache is hanging on, it being missing it's lid and placed in such a way so it doesn't fall out and onto the traffic below, isn't too bad. It was good and dry and that's the important thing [^]]

I’m targeting caches to fill gaps in grids on project gc at the moment and today I was near Callington for a CP Wanderer event and picked a few for the trip home including this one which filled a gap on the hidden dates grid.
There wasn’t much traffic above today, but a constant stream below. The coordinates led me right to the cache at GZ

A quick stop on the way to the new letterbox near by. A cache that I have driven under many times but never made the detour to get. The lid of the cache is missing, but the cache still remains in tact.
A last minute decision on where @davidwazza and myself would head to cache today, the decision was decided and the plan to head to Murray Bridge and some towns closer to Adelaide after mount barker. A few puzzles of varying D/T combos and half of the new geo mobile series. Overall an enjoyable day with 40 finds and 2 DNF’s, to get out after having a week of blistering hot days.
Thanks for the cache

A day geocaching with [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) to Adelaide's south-east through Nairne, Kanmantoo, and Murray Bridge. The primary plan was Bindi's GeoMobiles series, and we grabbed a few puzzle solves and higher terrain caches along the way.
We were driving past this cache (on the high road that is), and so we parked up to walk to GZ. Cache was quickly found, signed, and placed back, cheers brisal5.

Upsanddowns and I made our way into the middle, no traffic on our road but the road below was very busy.
Log soon signed and we were soon out of sight.

This one had become a bit of a nemesis cache. Tried it a while ago after a string of DNFs, mine being the last. Looks like it was still there though, I just didn't look hard enough. Today I had finished working in a nearby work location and decided that a small detour on the way back was in order. Parked in a nearby safe location and wandered to the area of GZ. Started to research the areas I had previously searched, thinking I had missed something but no, the holes were all still empty. Hmmm. What to do now. Widen the search area of course. Looked further afield and discovered little hidey holes that I did not know existed before and then after looking in more holes that I would care to admit, finally found the cache, with missing lid, signed the log and replaced. I am now not overly confused any more and the sad blue frownie is now a bright yellow smiley. I can now remove this from the watchlist and avoid the frustration of all those who found it after my DNF. Favourite, just because the DNF is now gone.....

We attempted to go up to Mount Barker Summit as we have never been up here before. We made our way up the hill but the carpark and surrounds were closed for some maintenance work so we backtracked down the hill and made our way to this one. We parked on the side of the road and walked across the bridge. After a short search the find was made. The container is missing its lid but the hide location keeps the log book dry.

As we were a tad early for the CITO event this morning, we went to look for this cache before heading up to the summit of Mount Barker. We were pleased that accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The contents were in good condition but the lid of the container has become detached and probably needs some attention. Thanks brisal5 for the hide.
Found after the nearby CITO. Owl pulled up as a team was leaving and despite encouragement from a prior finder made a meal of it. Perhaps it was the strange looks she was getting from non-caching motorists, but Owl felt sure that any minute a police car was going to pull up and discuss geology with her. Fortunately the rather sad-looking cache was retrieved and signed before that happened.
With all the rock throwing incidents it might be wise to move this towards an end. I got a lot of strange looks and probably had my rego taken. I sat down and search in every hole including the spidery ones but couldn't find it. TFTC anyway.
found with allister w on route to Murray Bridge. Interesting or overly confusing ? that it wasn't there last time i looked but it is with in 2 meters of where the gps says it should be this time and it has all the team names from the previous finders. Found with in 15 seconds this time.
Found with Sir Spectre on a cache day heading towards Murray Bridge. I found it straight away after Sir Spectre had told me he had a previous DNF. Thanks Brisal5 for the cache.
With a need to come to Murray Bridge today for Father's Day, my gift to Dennis was to find a few caches prior to lunch. Leaving home at 4.30 am we soon had the first one under our belt, then onto this cache, we had prepared ourselves for a long and difficult search.
First, you need to listen to your GPS and do as you are told. She was true to her word as the first place that Dennis placed his hand he felt a typical cache container, holding onto it in the wind was slightly harder. We did not want to drop it and have the 'non retrievable' words on our file. SL TFTC

Well, Brisal, I went back and did a more thorough check. It was further down than when I looked last time.
Log book has lost pages and caused a squishy mess in the cache, so I suggest a replacement.

Dang it Brisal, I had a decent look but it evaded me. Plus L plater muggle and her mum stopped to see if I was ok. It's alright, I say, I have a reason to be here. I'm not crazy. I swear.
Anyway, Montana couldn't decide where GZ was, though I checked a couple of spots. Is it Murray Bridge side? It seemed more logical to me to be on Mount side but Montana kept pointing the other way.

Went for a nice drive out towards the summit today. Went to the quarry nearby to look for the Nairne Fault exposure but couldn't find it. Nice walk though. TNLN. Cheers.

Still in the area around the Adelaide hills and decided for a short outage around the different villages around mount barker
Coming from the close by letterbox I was curious regarding the last logs of the cachers I just have met at the local meeting
GZ easily found, same with cache and whilst signing I counted 23 trucks

So good to finally have this annoying dot off my map. It's been taunting me every time I've driven up the freeway. TFTC. 30/10/16, 10:50 am Find #3021.
Not quite where I thought it was going to be, but not far off either. Log book is slightly damp, but acceptably writable. Perched it back in the slot and scurried back off the bridge.
An interesting hide. We've driven past this one many times and so it was nice to finally stop by and score the find (along with a few others at the summit). Thanks Brisal5.
Can't believe that we're only the second person to find it 2016 it was easy if your in the middle

Over in SA for the TDU and once again Mount Barker is our base for the week.
Seeing that it was so hot today it put a change to our plans, but as it cooled down we decided to head over the big road into Nairne and turn some icons into Smileys.
HMMM what side to go on???? we were surprised as to the whole time we were on the overpass there was not a single muggle on our level. Just about a hundred or so that passed under us. I wonder what they thought we were doing?

Being from Central Victoria we are spending the week in Mount Barker for the Tour Down Under Bicycle Event. As today was a rest day for the riders we went for a drive into Nairne to grab a few caches.
Not many cars along this road tonight but sure were alot going underneath us. After looking on both sides we finally found the right side, and made sure we didn't drop it.
