Regarding this puzzle, I had solved this some time ago on 11/07/2022. A simple research puzzle between the topics of geocaching and Brisbane!I had a small search around a few obvious spots, and then I started to question my coordinates, noting that there was no checker to confirm my coordinates. After reminding myself of the puzzle's questions and no glaring problem, I returned to my search, and then found the cache in a logical spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Team-BF for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today on my Friday off work, I had the day to meander through the southern suburbs of Oxley, Durack and Forest Lake. With no definitive plans, it was a case of having a general plan and seeing where the day took me. It probably involved more walking than intended, with the days heat causing slow and lethargic conditions, but I enjoyed the long walks in Oxley Common and Archerfield Wetlands. As I headed through the southern suburbs, I stopped at a couple of Locations of the [Mascot Wars Episode II: Attack of the Binnys](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/ec31fd07-d344-49a0-b7c8-0e78708c5b35) Adventure Lab. A few more of the *Oxley* series were visited, and then I closed out the day at Forest Lake completing the [A stroll around Forest Lake](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/be586bb7-6786-46a8-956f-6568d92d0be8) Adventure Lab.
That was a bit of a squeeze. I think the GPSr just wanted to watch me work for the find.
Out and about showing Hanakaihunters how we roll.. nice and easy for him as I had solved the puzzle a little while ago.. TFTC
In the area caching with MM. solved this over a lakeside lunch and then backtracked to pick up the cache.
Found cache today after solving the easy puzzle last night - because I knew I’d be working close by today. I’d pre-read the comments about the ice cream cache container repeatedly filling with water so I grabbed some items to replace the cache container & log etc. Unfortunately, the cache container I have replaced it with is not the same size (a lot smaller) but it was what I had available. It will fit some SWAG but not as big as some of the items currently in the ice cream container. There is a new log in a clip seal bag with a silica gel pouch (to hopefully keep things dry), pencil and some mini SWAG items. I’ll take the things currently in there home & wash them / see if they can be salvaged and put them in another cache somewhere. I have messaged the CO (last night) to ask permission but there has been no reply. The cache was placed in 2013 so it’s worth preserving but I’m gathering the CO no longer plays the game. I’m happy enough to adopt the cache if needed but I’ve no idea how to (without CO being available to ask).
Now for the interesting bit: so I thought I’d make an effort and do some CITO (cache in, trash out) while I was there. I picked up what looks like about a 5L silver engine oil container and started walking off. I then noticed an open spider egg sac. I got a stick to check it was empty (given I was planning on putting this in my car). But there was a baby huntsman (?) spider in there. I quickly flicked the egg sac onto the ground and continued on my way with the ice cream container and engine oil bottle. I put the engine oil container in the boot of the car and the ex-cache container (a.k.a. ice cream container) on the floor of the passenger seat. I sat there a while, making some phone calls etc. on my mobile. I thought I heard a noise but I disregarded it. But a few minutes later, I heard it again. I looked down to see a MASSIVE spider on the side of the old container. Mummy spider, no doubt! I plucked up the courage to entice it into the ice cream container, along with the SWAG and carry it across the road to where I’d flicked off the egg sac. There was no baby huntsman in sight but I hope they’ll be reunited somehow. I tipped the container out and the SWAG fell all over the footpath. But I couldn’t get the Mumma spider ️ off the cache container! Every time I turned that thing over, it clung on! Eventually I got a stick and it ran off. But argh! All because I thought I could reunite Mum and baby! The grassy footpath isn’t as ideal a home as the leaf litter and engine oil container near the cache but hopefully they’ll find their way back over there (20m or so).

Out caching with a muggle family to introduce them to the game. I had already solved this & it was just a quick stop to find this one. Container & ziplock bag were all full of water. We have emptied out but I had left my supplies in the car so could not sign or replace the log. TFTC
An ice cream container isn't the best waterproof one. Tipped out a lot of water. Someone has recently replaced log a dry one in a new bag.
Love finishing caches for the puzzles I have solved all by myself.

Nice easy puzzle and an easy find. Cache had lots of water in it again but the new log was still dry. TFTC!
I had a wander around The Woods today picking up some caches. This one I had solved some months ago and so I decided it was time to visit this side of town for some caching. The co-ordinates were a bit out but found without too much difficulty. As previous finders have said, it is very wet and logbook soaking. I placed a piece of paper in a small plastic bag for signing until the cache can be repaired/replaced. Tftc and puzzle.
I was in the area today running errands. I saw this cache was nearby, having solved it a couple of trips to Brisbane previously. It was too good to pass up, so I stopped by for an easy find. The cache is in sad condition. The container leaks in rain, the log book is saturated, and the container, despite leaking, does hold water. I cleaned it up as best I could, signed the card some kind soul had left in lieu of the log book, and put it back. It badly needs replacing. I could do nothing but cosmetic repairs as I didn't have my kit with me. Sorry. Thanks for bringing me here.
Visiting family in the area. Quick find after solving the coords. The cache was wet, so didn't sign log. TFTC
The geocache was unfortunately really wet, still had lots of fun! - tbd (1/4/21)
Found a park a little way away and a quick walk to GZ. I looked in one spot and nothing then another look a bit further away and soon spied the cache. The log was quite wet but I was able to sign it before replacing all as found. TFTC
Getting back into Geocaching after 6 years and decided to give the Puzzle a go. After abit of help sorting out the co-ordinates we were off. Found cache quite easily. TFTC.
Full of water and log soaked. Was able to sign and drained it. Might need a different sort of container. Tftc! Fun one to do on the twentieth year on a mother son caching date!
First puzzle cache!! So glad I found it. Was pretty wet, so drained, signed and replaced!! TFTC!!
Well it's now nearly 20 years since Dave Ulmer placed the first 'stash' in the woods of Oregon. Interestingly, the first cache in Queensland was place in Karawatha Forest by Brian Beamish on 17th October 2000, only 5 months later. Brian was taken by cancer some years ago, but prior to that I knew him, and worked with him for a short time.
I first heard of geocaching by reading an article by Tom Moffat (also a victim of cancer) in Electronics Today some short time later, but only started caching in 2006.
The puzzle was easy with a little help from geocache hq where I read up on the history. The cache was found with a fair helping of water sloshing around in the bottom of the container (tipped out) but the log book was sufficiently dry to add a name to. Replaced and retreated to find the car down the road. One problem with these nicely planned estates is the main roads are too busy to park without blocking a lane, and the side roads are mostly too narrow to park safely. TNLN. TFTC.

Thanks for bringing me to this lovely suburb. Well-placed cache, although the hint confused me. TFTC
This cache has been sitting in the solved pile for way too long so best to grab a smilie before it disappears!
I remember the puzzle was fairly quick to solve, here's hoping for a quick find as well!
Once at GZ it was indeed a quick find for Mrs VC.
The container was holding water which we drained away & dried as best we could & the log was just a little damp.
Perhaps the CO could pay a visit & 'waterproof' the cache or replace the container as it seems to collect water regularly going by past recent logs
.Made our mark & replaced as found.

I was out caching with the youngest geodaughter this afternoon, and we called in here to collect a smilie at this solved puzzle. A short hunt and the container was found. We added our name to the log and then made the short walk back to the geomobile. Tftc and the puzzle!
Having found the actual 2 millionth cache in Alice Springs it was fitting to find this cache too.
Wet but log was surprisingly dry

Krcamber did the solving on this one, suspicious on if coords were right until we saw something that aligned. TFTC
An interesting puzzle which was solved when reezielou and I decided to head out this way today. We were doubtful on approach but once we arrived at GZ, we knew we were on the right track! Quick find here! Log and cache a little wet, dried as best as I could. TFTC!
Was going to be in the area so had this one solved ready to hopefully find. A nice quick find here, signed log & replaced as found. TFTC
Solved this one recently and should have found it the next day, but when in unfamiliar territory and a wrong turn take you to the motorway there is no turning back for many kilometres. That does not sound good for a geocacher but that's life. found it today and all is well with the cache. Thanks Bell-Fuller's
Solved this one a while ago.A quick find was made and my name was added to the log. TFTC
Visited with wifu after solving the puzzle and waiting for the heat to ease up.
Nice little hidey spot, and gave us a good reason to go for an afternoon stroll together.

What a great experience finding this mystery geocache. My husband and I had fun deciphering the coordinates and locating this

I had solved this one a while ago and had never been out this way with time to come and find it. Tonight I had been at a geocaching event in Jindalee, so decided to stop and find it on the way home.
Not sure where I was meant to park so I stopped on the grass footpath near GZ. Hunted around for a bit before coming up with the goods. It was a bit damp inside so wiped it out and it's clean and dry here.

I have looked at this puzzle a few times as it is somewhat on the path home from the in-laws. Never got around to solving it until angloj suggested we head to Forest Lake for a few caches. Quickly solved the puzzle and quickly found the hide once at GZ. I emptied the water I could from the cache. New log book is all good kept dry in the new zippys. TFTC Bell-Fuller's
Puzzled solved by kestal before we came down from toowoomba. Great to have another puzzle done. Tftc
I like solving these type of puzzles where research will get you final coords. Had this puzzle solved some time ago but didn't have them entered into my page.
Stopped nearby and went in search of this one. Finally found it but there was some water in the cache. Emptied it out and cleaned it up a bit. Put logsheet and logbook in another baggie to help it stay dry.
May need a new cache container as this one doesn't seem to seal very well against the rain we have been having.

After sitting in a nearby park to solve the questions, it was a quick drive to GZ, which soon revealed a themed location, letting us know we were on the right track. We tried to approach from a couple of different directions at first, but then realised where the coordinates were taking us and soon uncovered the large container. As we were returning to the car, the bottom of the cache gave way due to its apparent weight and the whole contents of the container spilled into the gutter, which actually proved rather appropriate as the cache was completely filled with water
We’ve tried drying out the contents and cleaning up the container, but the old logbook is saturated so will need a replacement...We’ve left behind some temporary pages for now, and have removed any rubbish and some of the swag to continue drying at home for later dispersion at future finds. We’ve left a Pirate Minion as our swag contribution , and have placed all of the remaining swag into its own large ziplock.

I targeted the Ellen Grove area for this afternoons Geocaching adventure, so I solved this fun puzzle before I left home
**# 17223** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another warm sunny winter day for a drive around the area once again.
Not many muggles around and a good quick find here.
Log sheet is very damp and was hard to write on.
Thanks for the cache Team-BF,

I solved this puzzle last year when working not too far away, but did not have the opportunity to head out to make the find. Today, with geomum and Mr and Mrs RoddyC, we headed to GZ. There, the cache was quickly located. Luckily, I had my trusty "write anywhere" pen with me as thee log is saturated and nothing else would write on it. A more waterproof container may be required here. TFTC
Out with Selva Girls and Geo mum to get in a bit of Geocaching!
Puzzle solved easily. Cache found but as previous finders said the log is wet.
Log signed and replaced. Found at 3.55pm on 28th May 2017. TFTC.

I was on the way home from my mother's and, on a whim, decided to collect a couple of long solved puzzles.
I had to park at a nearby park and walk to this one but it was a quick easy find.
As previous finders have noted, it was full of water but the log is on top of the swaps and only damp.

Lot of water in this one. Log damp but ok however log bag does not snap shut anymore. Water drained and cache put back where found. 2 of clubs I think.
The solving of this one was quite easy for us as in 2015 we held an event in Cairns to celebrate the 15 years of geocaching and a trivia quiz we set up had the answers we needed for this one, great to be a hoarder as we had kept the questions.
We are not sure if the cache container is in the correct location as it is sitting on the ground behind a tree and is quite visible. SL TFTC

Came to collect this one with a friend today and the cache is exactly where I found it back in October 2013.
Found the cache where it should be. There was as a decent amount of water in the container but log was upright in a zip bag and reasonably dry. TFTC
I think the original location of the cache has been "maintained" by council. I've driven past and the area has been cleaned up (but have not had time to stop and check). Just wanted to let CO know.
Today I continued with a few more caches clearing out this area while I have a work contract nearby. This one I did the solving of last night which caused no stress at all, which is not the ordinary state for me doing this type of cache. Easy peasey.
This morning, this was the first cache I headed for as I had a travel bug that needed dropping off. I parked nearby and said gday to the bloke doing garden maintenance along the nature strip.
At ground zero I searched back and forth where I expected the cache to be hidden, safe out of sight of passing muggles. With no luck I went a bit further afield to check out what looked like a stump behind a tree and what do you know... it was the cache. I am not convinced that this is where the cache should be as it was about 10m off my coordinates and seems to be a bit out in the open.. the cache owner may want to come investigate. Maybe the gardener found it and moved it? In any event, the logbook and swag appeared undisturbed and in order so I quickly signed my name and popped in the travel bug to continue its journey.
My thanks to Bell-Fullers for the cache and the fun and cheer.

If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise...I certainly did get one. Great spot to hide a cache in a place frequented by muggles. Loved the container camo . TFTC Team-BF, I enjoyed it. All is good at GZ
Not easy and good camo.

The night that this was published, I sat down to solve it and sent an email to the CO with the coordinates. and was awarded virtual FTF honours as I live too far away to get there in time just as the log came through for the real FTF finders. Congratulations to them.

Off to Forest Lake to tackle this puzzle cache. Had solved the puzzle and out to find the cache. Found cache quite quickly, however it was waterlogged and writing book needs replacing
Out for the day with Bristracker , picking up some Oxley and assorted puzzles and a few other icon caches. This was the first cache for the day. Best way in was between the fences. Soggy loggy. First find for the day. Thanks for this one.
Me solving this puzzle was quite odd. For some reason I thought it was on the northside. Apparently not - so I found out after solving the puzzle I put it on my GPSr ready to be solved while in the area.
Today, I was about - so I decided to find the blessed beast. I figured I was in the right area - but I was having issues at the GPSr wanted me to be in a fairly dangerous GZ But after examining the area I came up with the goods. It was in good condition.

TFTC. #280. Solved the puzzle a few months ago and went looking as a group today. Having kids was a distinct advantage. This is a busy road and difficult to do discreetly.
Needing a few more puzzles so that my 'stats' meet my OCD requirements, I saw that this one was fairly close to home. A few moments of searching and a set of coordinates seemed to meet some if the description when compared to the online street view! All I needed now was to attack the GZ and find it. I had just started geocaching when the big two million was reached, so this bought back some nice memories of when I was a boob cacher!
Today I had a few moments spare to pick up a couple of Forest Lake puzzles and this was the first. Waiting for a break in the traffic and I jumped in. I soon saw the container that was either REALLY well canoes, or has grown a bit of the local flora on the outside.
There was some water build up in the container which I cleaned out, but the log book itself is in good order. I jumped out of the hide area when I though the coast was clear, only to have missed one muggle car whizzing by. It was hard to look innocent, but I gave it my best shot!
Thanks Team BF, an enjoyable find.

Out and about for a few quick finds this morning to help clean up the Forest Lake area.
I had solved the puzzle some time last week in my spare time, and decided to find the cache during a brief sweep today. I had GZ pretty much sussed out, and just had to decide the best plan of attack. I decided on a point of entry, and followed the 'path' to the cache.

Hurrah - A puzzle I could actually solve - I was a bit skeptical about the D3 rating tho, since I have seen other puzzles which were easier but I could not figure them out for the life of me. I approached GZ and a little yapper was barking away at me but I paid no heed whilst I was peering into the undergrowth. Ah ha a likely specimen indeed and opened it up and a nice dry log book. I parked down the road for safety and strolled past to check out for obvious hiding spots but decided that there was only one way so I waited for the traffic to all disperse for a second and disappeared from sight. I looked around and spotted something and almost discarded it but decided to check it a bit closer and found the logbook inside.
I haven't seen one of these used for a cache container before and I was surprised that it was all dry inside.

Out with Blacklegend and kids today and after looking at a few different areas to attack we settled on this one as it had the least found by each of us.
This puzzle was easily solved and Blacklegend had found it prviously so it was up to me to find it by myself.
I wasn't sure of true GZ but I was guided generally to the right area.
I left the honours of grabbing the cache to one of the kids.
Nice camo!!!
Thanks Team-BF TFTC SL TSLS

That seems like 2 pretty decent reasons to hide a puzzle cache to me! I sat down and did the googling and mathematics some time back and got rewarded with a nice, shiny set of co-ords. Today was the lucky day I grabbed the cache.
I was headed home from out west with Net88 and figured I should make the detour to find it. I parked down the road a little and we walked back. With where the GPSr was pointing I was glad to be skinny as I squeezed in and quickly spotted the cache. I was amazed at the cache container and how it was still dry inside. I signed the logbook and spent ages trying to get it closed again before rehiding and looking for the easiest way back out, which thankfully I did. Glad to grab a little mystery cache for the day. Enjoyed the brain work on this guys. Thanks.
Then, with Geokid in tow, we had to dodge lightening, rain and muggles. Delved deep and finally found a not so new looking cache. Nice effort. Will be calling back with a few swaps now that we are getting into the swing of it. Good hide Team-BF, have one on me. JD&Coke

Found on a 4 day trip which included 3 nights camping in Stanthorpe with three of the kids, Jasmine 9yo and James + Jemma 7yo. Started off heading via Brisbane and the Planetarium, collecting a few around that area with Radnoski, met a few other fellow cachers, then headed South via Warwick to Stanthorpe, collecting caches along the way. Stayed at Top of The Town, and arriving late, a mad rush to set up a new tent ensued. But with help from the kids all was well.
The second day featured over 120 finds, and a clean up for me of the A.S. Series, Animal Series and the Fruit Run. Saw some great spots, and the kids had a ball finding a heap of caches.
The third day featured 86 finds, a few DNF's, but a sensational loop starting in Stanthorpe, and heading South and then back to Stanthorpe, a distance of around 200 or so kms. Visited some of the best cache locations I have been to, and quite a few fav points to be given out. A big maccas dinner the reward for the kids and me....
The fourth and final day, was of course the pack up, then a cruisy trip home, collecting only 22 finds, but there were still some good spots visited. Also got the chance to meet Team Robins, great to meet you.....
In summary, found 258 caches, got my 9000th find, and had a nice time away with the kids... Missed some awesome looking Earth Caches in the area, but will get them next time I plan a trip out that way. My sincere thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches, without whose efforts, I would have had nothing to find. I am using a generic log on the power trail caches, but on others, of course there will be a personal comment.

An easy mystery that I had solved some time ago, thought today going past was the perfect time to grab it. Kids grabbed this one too. TFTC.

I had this puzzle solved almost as soon as it came out, but as I live on the northside of Brisbane, today was the first time I was anywhere near the area. Happily my PQ had picked up the adjusted co-ords, which brought me to a very good looking GZ. I wanted to go a certain way, but the GPS wasn't happy, so I followed it and it took me to right to the cache [^] The container looks quite worse for wear on the outside, but all is fine on the inside. TFTC, Team-BF.
