Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Saturn's day the nineteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Grand Final day is a great day for geocaching when you don't follow the sport! Got a park close by and geoson, who has no shame, and bendy knees, was quite delighted to make the find.

My wife and I often come to Ruffey Lake for a walk, and today I realised that there was a cache nearby. Easy parking close to the cache, and there only remained the choice of hiding places low down. Found it on the fourth (last) try.

Great spot, thanks for the cache

TwoEms had just finished having dinner with our muggle parents at a vibrant Italian restaurant. They had come from seeing Chicago at Her Majestys Theatre and were all buzzed up on pop, six, squish, uh-uh, Cicero, Lipschitz, and pasta. So after picking up some take-home ice-cream from the nearby gelateria, we took the opportunity to quickly swing by here before driving them safely home. While our muggle parents sat in the car holding their culture and melting ice-cream, they watched their adult child and partner get out of the car to crawl around on the dirtin their nice clotheson their hands and knees. They heard us call out, watch out for the ants, while we waved our flashlights in each others faces. They saw us obsess over a rusty old tin and carefully write our name in the big fat log book signed by all the other lunatics before us. Thank you for the cachethey had it coming!

Ants...pffft. No way they are getting between me and a cache.

----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###----------Hi there baluke,It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident. The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.#What you need to do:-#You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored. - **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page. You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. TwistedIt would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. I was in Templestowe overnight to house and dog sit for our niece, and took the opportunity to search out a few caches on the way home. Parked close by, and looked in the likely spot but came up empty handed. After reading some previous logs, I channelled my inner contortionist and managed to feel a familiar container. Contents and container in good dry condition, and muggles far enough away to reset without incident. TFTC baluke

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".

So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.

**Thanks to baluke for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Today we concentrated on the Local Government Areas of Maroondah and Manningham as we worked towards two challenges. After very heavy overnight rain, we continued to experience periods of heavy rain, light showers and short periods of no rain - testing conditions for a days caching, especially as many areas were very wet, muddy and slippery. We were very pleased that, in the prevailing conditions, we found 26 caches.

As we drove towards this cache, the rain started to fall again. Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Team_Yarra for the cache.

Ended up coming to Doncaster today to find "Doncaster Hill Walk" (GC9NN9Z) as I needed to find a Wherigo today for the "DotW Challenge Series - Cache types" (GC8F0HA) challenge cache that I am currently working on.

After I completed that Wherigo and found the cache I had a look to see what other caches were in the area. Which led me on over to try and find this cache

This was another quick find once I got to GZ. The sun had completely set by this time and had to walk to GZ in darkness, but it made for a fun experience. I have really done to much caching in the dark, and kind of made me want to try to find some night caches.

Like "nowunatawl" said in their log, the lid of the cache container has gone missing, but the logbook inside still remained clean and dry. TFTC.

Found with icw. We were nearby so we made a small detour to this end of Ruffey Lake Park, where the cache was in the expected place. The log is dry and signable, but as the container lacks a lid it was full of debris. Tftc.
