Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Aldinga for a few days and ranging from there to grab some finds. Scored another beautiful day after a couple of chilly ones. Love these country roads - our type of caching. Replaced in dumped tv set. Thanks for the hide LNCU
Quick stretch of the legs hereOne week on from SAs Leap Year MEGA Event and out caching again. This time around Aldinga/Willunga and anywhere else that looks interesting.equipe de cinq, I found Forty Winks #10 today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
A fun stroll, enjoying the wildflowers. Thank you for the hide out here. Logging with DeafPVC
I decided to go out for the day around the Aldinga and McLaren Vale area for caches before sir_spectre's Gemmel Tassie Reserve CITO.
It was good to finally get this series done as it was the first series I noticed when I signed up for Geocaching, 3 and a half years ago...
It was good to walk along here instead of the constant 200m drive then getting out, signing and repeat.
I set off along the geotrail and a quick find was made. All is well here.
Good to see a colourful container too.
Thanks equipe de cinq for this cache and series, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3306 on the 29th of July 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

Out for stroll to finish '40'. Found a pole and a tv, but no cache. Even new coords didn't help.
Needs checking again perhaps?

Lots of little planes ️ flying overhead, hearing heaps of dogs ( a kennel?) and a great view of the fields and hills from GZ.
I have finally finished this series.
“Sing this with me…This is 40!”

Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure and another very chilly, wet day. Just perfect for geocaching. Went for a walk and found this cache. TFTS.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs & wine. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

This was the last of this series I had left to do, so followed the GPS to GZ, no post here liked on my phone and i had walked too far, so back to the co ords and cache found and signed
Today I headed south to Myponga Beach to find a few target caches then slowly made my way back along the coast line cleaning up the area as I went. Total of 30 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

As it was such a beautiful day we decided to go for a walk and finish off the last 3 in the series. Tftc
Chasing numbers for a serious milestone so today set my sights on a series I've long wanted to do but never got around to, the 40 Winks series. Found 37 and replaced 4 which were almost certainly missing.
Thanks to equipe de cinq for putting out this cache for me to find

This hide involves the fence, which is currently lying on the ground in pieces, so if repairs are done the caches will be lost. Can’t see much need to fence the wheat in though.
TFTC and series.

Spending a few days in Wallunga as part of our trip to SA after borders were opened up to NSW and QLD. Today was the day to find the 40 Winks and a few extra caches near by. Many thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches and enhancing our enjoyment of caching.
Out and about geocaching today, while staying in Willunga from Brisbane. Decided to cache art, '40'. Due to the number of caches in this series I am doing a generic cache. Thoroughly enjoyed doing these caches, even those ones that had to be walked. TFTC equipe de cinq
Tftc... No naked caching today... frosticles!!! (hope it wasn't a geopup who left a parcel behind at GZ - we are more respectful!)
Found on a fun day showing a muggle friend how it all works. Well hidden cache that Geoson found. Signed by Geodaughter (first cache that I haven't sighted and trusted the kids to sign!). TFTC
So this was a fairly full-on solo geocaching day for me today, and I wanted to make the most of the terrific weather that had the right temperature, sun out and blue sky. The plan was to head south to tackle some of the power trails / series, and for the most part, that was achieved. My day started at Seaford, and then it was a run along the creek finding the *Real Aliens* series. I then diverted towards the ocean, to find a nemesis oldie and enjoy a run along Moana's cliffs. A selection of the *Cats and Dogs* series were detoured past, before a break at Aldinga's bakery. Next was the *Forty Winks* series, and then back towards the ocean to enjoy a few caches at Sellicks Beach. It was getting to late afternoon by the time I drove through Myponga, and targeted a few hiking geocaches around there, and back towards Sellicks Hill. By this time, it was dark, and so made my way home, having utilised this great weather as best as I could.
I'm normally not the fan of power trails, especially doing these solo, but whether it was the weather, or obvious cache hides, I actually quite enjoyed driving around these, and the nearby airport made it even more enjoyable. I managed to find these caches in two waves (early afternoon, and towards the evening), with a few DNFs in amongst the series. This was the second phase of driving this series, and with it being dark after the sun had set, I pretty well had these roads to myself.
I didn't realise that this whole road section was blocked off, but I did note some tracks that were driving around the dirt hill blockade that had been established. Perhaps they belong to locals, or other Geocachers? So it turned out that these last three caches in the series were also done as drivebys. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks equipe de cinq for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Out and about with LiB and kkrafter on a day caching that was a little cool and damp with patches of sunshine...
Finishing the 40 series today was my goal...
LiB dropped kkrafter & me at one end and picked us up at the other end...
A pleasant stroll down the motorbike track...

Find # 7650
Found while on the annual Trip to South Aurstalia for the Tour Down Under Bike race.
All week I've been travelling with Tyred n Cranky, but today I dropped them off in Myponga, as they were participating in the "Challenge Tour" with over 3000 other riders.
As every year, when I drop them off, it starts a caching day for me.
This year I had the 40 series on the GPSr ready to go, and a few others around the area and on the way to Strathalbyn, where Tyred n Cranky would be crossing the Finish line and where I had to pick them up.
While doing the 40 I came across another cachers log, wow they were from Horsham, and after a few messages, it turnec out we were doing the same thing. The dropp off of family members, caching the area, picking up family members. A weird coincidence so far from home.
Sorry for the generic log. All caches were found safe n healthy unless otherwise stated.
