Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Aldinga for a few days and ranging from there to grab some finds. Scored another beautiful day after a couple of chilly ones. Love these country roads - our type of caching. Thanks for the hide LNCU

Nice to turn the frown upside down Thanks for replacing this cache equipe de cinq
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.I noticed that this cache has been unavailable for an extended period of time without maintenance occuring as set out in the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a reviewer note to the cache (not email) within the next 28 days detailing when it will be replaced, so I don't archive the listing for non-communication. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a reviewer note every month (28 Days) to keep everyone up to date.If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice
This needs to be replaced or removed altogether. I question that the previous poster found it when it is clearly gone as there is no tree as reported previously by multiple people and no owner maintenance addressed
In April the tree was in pieces, with the cache amongst them. Now there is only ash, it looks like the fire was recent. There is a SPOR of sorts at a fence post, but no cache within it. Thanks anyway equipe de cinq.
I decided to go out for the day around the Aldinga and McLaren Vale area for caches before sir_spectre's Gemmel Tassie Reserve CITO.
It was good to finally get this series done as it was the first series I noticed when I signed up for Geocaching, 3 and a half years ago...
I followed the slightly muddy geotrail and crossed the water flow to GZ.
Upon arrival to GZ a quick find was made.
The contents are damp, which seems to reoccurring theme in this series.
The hint doesn't match either.
Thankfully could get the car down this road, I also managed a cool plane picture as it flew overhead.
Thanks equipe de cinq for this cache and series, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3305 on the 29th of July 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

The plan was to cache some fresh air, scenery, and of course 40 winks
The tree was in pieces but found the cache amongst the debris. Placed it at the base of a post nearby.

I had managed to negotiate a morning of caching on a rare day off. The plan was to see how much I could get to before the forecast rain arrived. I decided to travel between this series of caches on two wheels rather than four, and it was nice to get some exercise in. I had contemplated which direction to head towards this cache. In the end I cycled from 15 and had quite the adventure doing so. I'm out of practice with this 'off road' biking. TFTC equipe de cinq
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure and another very chilly, wet day. Just perfect for geocaching. The walk track was more of a river really. TFTS.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs & wine. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

Believe this cache had been muggled since previously found……I found the log book, lid, container and plastic bag spread across the area.
Pulled it all together and placed where thought it should be

Out for an afternoon of caching. Really enjoyed working through the forty winks series here! Most were quick finds with the help of the hints. Parked north of this and walked into GZ.
100th find for me yay!
Out with the rest of Tri-Cache team today cycling along the 40 Winks power trail. We still have the '0' to go and the upper part of the '4' so plenty for another trip. A pleasant day with a good handful of finds and lots of fun. TFTC equipe de cinq. Thanks for going to the effort of hiding the caches that make up this brilliant power trail.

A little hike to retrieve this find with the unfriendly dog yapping at me the whole time.

Chasing numbers for a serious milestone so today set my sights on a series I've long wanted to do but never got around to, the 40 Winks series. Found 37 and replaced 4 which were almost certainly missing.
Thanks to equipe de cinq for putting out this cache for me to find

Love it when my Tuesday walking group follows a geo-trail.. Arrived 2hrs earlier to clock a few to my tally. Thanks equipe de cinq
In Port Elliot today, out to tackle the 40 Winks series. All caches found in good order, took nothing and left nothing. Thanks to equipe de cinq for the run. TFTC
Spending a few days in Wallunga as part of our trip to SA after borders were opened up to NSW and QLD. Today was the day to find the 40 Winks and a few extra caches near by. Many thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches and enhancing our enjoyment of caching.
Out and about geocaching today, while staying in Willunga from Brisbane. Decided to cache art, '40'. Due to the number of caches in this series I am doing a generic cache. Thoroughly enjoyed doing these caches, even those ones that had to be walked. TFTC equipe de cinq
I started this series in 2018 but didn’t finish it and today I collected 2 more of the series. Both quick and easy finds
Today I headed south to Aldinga and mclarenvale to go for a bike ride and decided to collect a few caches on my way down to the area. 35 finds for the day plus a few labs.
Thanks for the cache

So this was a fairly full-on solo geocaching day for me today, and I wanted to make the most of the terrific weather that had the right temperature, sun out and blue sky. The plan was to head south to tackle some of the power trails / series, and for the most part, that was achieved. My day started at Seaford, and then it was a run along the creek finding the *Real Aliens* series. I then diverted towards the ocean, to find a nemesis oldie and enjoy a run along Moana's cliffs. A selection of the *Cats and Dogs* series were detoured past, before a break at Aldinga's bakery. Next was the *Forty Winks* series, and then back towards the ocean to enjoy a few caches at Sellicks Beach. It was getting to late afternoon by the time I drove through Myponga, and targeted a few hiking geocaches around there, and back towards Sellicks Hill. By this time, it was dark, and so made my way home, having utilised this great weather as best as I could.
I'm normally not the fan of power trails, especially doing these solo, but whether it was the weather, or obvious cache hides, I actually quite enjoyed driving around these, and the nearby airport made it even more enjoyable. I managed to find these caches in two waves (early afternoon, and towards the evening), with a few DNFs in amongst the series.
I didn't realise that the road was blocked off, so parked just next to the airport, and walked the 160 m to get to the cache. At least this cache didn't take long to find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks equipe de cinq for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Fantastic spot for a cache. Some horses and a pony came over and we fed them. Loving the 40 series. Although it is very unusual to see a rock growing in a tree! TFTC
