Took me two goes to get this but I was with a tour group. Coordinates are spot on. Another LGA for me. A great place to visit for sure.
#5939 Near to our camp for a few days this place caught our eye driving past. Today we came back to fully explore it and undertake the self guide tour. Well worth it, some fascinating history and collection of items and stories. We particularly like visiting these type of places on our adventures and the geodogs were welcome! Both WA and SA showcase its history so much better than Victoria where we live. TFTC Squash2.
It's a wet, miserable day on the last day of my adventure to Ningaloo and back. Felt like I needed at least one cache today to keep up the streak.
Second find for the day after a couple of did not Find. It was good for the kids to see what a Nano cache looks like. Wonderful day. Great weather and now heading off towards ellendale poolTFTC
Out for a road trip up north to try out our new camper and grabing a couple of caches on the way.
Time sto stop for a coffee and being National Trust members we decided to take a walk around the village. On the way out I looked for this one. I had tried a couple of years ago but didn't have any luck. It turns out I was searching in the wrong spot. It ws a much quicker find this time.

2 day trip up to Geraldton to see the pinnacles and the hmas Sydney memorial, Snickersallan and patrol14 are grabbing a few caches while on the way.
Last time I visited this hamlet I was thwarted by people at gz as well as another visit with a bus load of tourists.
Today we were lucky with noone here and Snickersallan made the find. How did I miss that! Log signed cache returned.

After we had coffee, tea and scons in the village assembly room, we looked for cache hiding places nearby. We quickly found the GZ and signed the logbook.

Spent a few minutes looking, even extended the area but couldn't find anything. Spotted it when I sat down to read through old logs to look for hints. Signed and returned as found. Tftc
Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Found this on the ground after the recent heavy rain. Signed and replaced where is should have been.
Thanks Squash2 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Staying in Geraldton, we did a trip to historic Greenough, a very well preserved village. Muggle husband found this cache after I had checked the same spot, not well enough obviously.
10.25am
Visiting Perth from Brisbane to catch up with hubby who is working over here. Today I am on my way to Geraldton after dropping hubby off at the worksite in Dongara.
Decided to stop here for a pee break and find this cache. Cafe busy with a birthday celebration so made my way to GZ to have a look. Checked likely hides but no luck. As I went to check another spot a busload of senior tourists parked up near gz and were starting setting up to have morning tea. That was my cue to quit and continue my journey north.
May have another look on our next visit here. Beautiful historical buildings here.
Searched on 1 July 2022.

TFTC found while visiting this hamlet. The morning tea was a treat & the find was tricky in a muggle area. Found with a smile.
A wonderful start to the day, out at Grenough, exploring the Historical Settlement from the Early Settlers.
Thanks for sharing this interesting historical location.
We found this nice and easily.
Thanks for the Cache

Hi there Squash2. While out on the road today we found this cache after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Squash2 for this cache - our find 7996
Great time here with the family and a lovely lunch also. Beautiful spot well worth the stop, no need to pay if your grabbing the cache but worth it and great photo opportunities. Tftc
On our way south, megawat60 and I are now in Greenough exploring the swag of new caches. Missed this one at first look but came back and got it! TFTC!

On a 6 day trip up north to visit family in Carnarvon, and maybe exmouth, with my lovely girlfriend HR2990, picking up as many caches as possible, Thanks to everyone for hiding these caches for us to find.
With a few minutes before the IGD event Mr Z took to the task of locating this cache before we started to wander through the old town.
Thanks Squash2 for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 1723 for me.

Heading up to Gero for the annual IGD event with AlliedOz & SVKR_WA on a day trip, lots of banter and shenanigans in amongst the 900 odd k's traveled for the day.
Arrived at GZ where several teams were signing the log, my favourite type of quick find.
Squash2 I found your cache at 11:11am, this was the 15th of 34 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5574. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Made the annual pilgrimage to Geraldton for IGD & out caching with Everlasting. Must have bumped into everyone else at some point on our travels. Great fun. TFTC Squash2
Found it. TFTC squash2 Came here at night with torchlight with no luck but today on arrival there seemed to be a union meeting or a protest at GZ. Oh, it is Geocachers with the cache. I just managed to do my duty before it was replaced. Thanks atCatpacity.
Now this is a location I’ll be sure to come back to when I have more time. Was absolutely itching to go for a walk around the historic settlement but sadly I have to drive back to Perth But I did get chance to grab an awesome coffee from the cafe, AND grab the sneaky cache too No problems here, just had to be careful with muggles as this is clearly a popular place! Cache was a quick find - and thanks for showing me a tiny bit of what’s here. I’ll be back! TFTC
Today we went to Geenough to the Open-air Museum. Unfortunately this Cache was not found ...
After many failed attempts and lots of driving we found one and now we can have tea and scones
Found this one on the way south - nice break in the drive, and good timing with most people heading out. TFTC!!
Had a good look around, even check with a previous finder. Think this one needs a CO check
We stopped to log a find on our way from Geraldton to Jurien Bay. Thanks for another hide.
A work trip to Geraldton gave me the chance to drive the long way and cross off another couple of LGAs.
Up early and heading for home. Making sure there is time for for caching in the way.
My gos was jumping around all over the place. A more extensive search of a place I’d already looked had the find in hand.
Squash2 SVKR_WA found your cache on 11 Mar 2018 at 06:58:47.
The log was signed and the cache replaced.
This find brings my find count to 2885
Thanks for placing this cache and contributing to this great game

Well that took a bit longer than necessary. Signed B&GFTB. Muggle galore. TFTH SL cheers
Yeah so maybe when I think more like a muggle and less like a cacher it wouldn’t have taken 20 minutes to find! Haha all good log signed and replaced!
A quiet little hamlet today which left me to search in peace. Cache still in place and my name is on the log. I would've liked a wander round the buildings but decided to continue on my way for some more caches instead. TFTC # 11,389
Please note this cache is still in place and in play. Many thanks to ReticBob who was in the area, checked it out, found it on the ground and replaced it in it's correct position.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
I checked with cafe owner and confirmed the cache in a nano in the obvious place. I rechecked the place and it couldn't be seen there or on the ground. Gone gone gone.
Took a day trip to check out the historical region of Greenough and to get a cache or 2 on the way however the gps had us chasing our tales around in circles
Afternoon out and about with my sister and her kids checking out the old village. TFTC
Since son is home on his work break to house/dog sit and we got the rare go ahead to go away so it looks like another mini geo road trip it is
Let Home at 5.15am this morning which wasn't too bad tho didn't think muggle had it in him
Had this one questioned marked on my list as a 'time permitting find' well time was good and cache was found right where my muggle said to look
My GGGrandmother was born at Greenough Flats in 1861 as her father was a policeman in the district so I have a love for the area
TFTC
All good with cache and replaced as found
