Logs
We arrived from the UK yesterday and were very keen to introduce our family to geocaching especially as there are two on their doorstep. This is the first of 2 finds during stroll in the park.Quick find as the coordinates and hint are spot on.Impressively strong magnet and the logbook is in good condition however the container is missing its lid.We replaced as found which does its best to compensate for the lid. Thanks for hiding this one
Opportunistic indeed. It was very late so I headed straight for a simple trad. No muggles will be out at this time right? WRONG! A party in a nearby street had people in a car right ontop of GZ.I parked around the corner and set watched them all disappear and then stopped in to grab the cache.Fortunately a nice quick find.A big thanks goes to baluke for taking the time to add Opportunistic Find #78 to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Are you ready for Victorias next big event?Join us for Victorias first ever *Block Party* to celebrate 25 years of geocaching.**When:** March 22 - 23, 2025**Where:** Hume Global Learning Centre, SunburyLog your will attend at [**GCAP417: The Sunbury Event** ](https://coord.info/GCAP417) Visit our [**Block Party website** ](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/the-sunbury-event) for more details on the exciting lineup of events and activities as they are released!
Strong attachment mechanism on this! Just had to wait out a few passing walkers then made the find quickly. Unfortunately, I ended up with a stinky foot. Really annoys me when people don't clean up after their dogs
TwoEms took the opportunity to find this with our torches at night, and quickly with torches we did! The lid was missing on the cache, so were not sure how the log holds up in the rain, but it looks like it has held up rather well. Thank you for the cache.
Was in the area hunting a few caches and took advantage of the opportunity (pun intended) to find this one. Quick find once looking in the right area - and the local who had taken up residence in the cache was also removed! Thanks to Team Yarra for keeping this series going
With only one or two muggles in the park, the opportunity soon arose to stamp this log.
Thanks again for the cache and the series.
Thanks again for the cache and the series.
My daughter found it, and to her surprise there was a spider hiding in it too!
Another one crossed off the to find list while staying over at my son's house to dog sit. Thanks Team Yarra for this sneaky cache which was fun to find.
Nice camoflauge. Reasonably easy find. The cache case is damaged. Needs some TLC. TFTC.
Out for a day caching, this is one I found along the way. The weather is perfect and no DNFs so far. Life is good.
Out for our exercise and we picked up this cache on our walk around this great park between walking Muggles. TFTC and bringing us to this spot.
Picnicking muggles everywhere!! Fortunately the rain came and cleared them out. TFTC!
Out on our quest to get to 500 despite the ️ we headed out. However as the got worse, plans were adjusted for a park and grab series of caches. Always love these urban blocks/open space. Found cache easily but lid was not all that tight and log was damp. Enjoyed a walk around the park, once we remembered our
A beautiful, warm, sunny winter day, what to do? A few local caches that I
haven't yet searched for.
This took a little longer than it probably should have but eventually got that smiley face.

I poked myself in the head with a broken tree branch by accident trying to get to this one. TFTC
Found lying on tbe ground.easy find and nice walk in. Log in serious need of replacement. Put back on the metal. Thanks.
Found @08:19 #7496
The log really needs to be replaced, it is now just a dried lump of paper all pages fused together. Managered to scratch my name on the surface but still not great. Decided to stop by as was passing by on the way back to the car.

Finally catching up on my last two weeks of logs... I try not to fall behind too much, as that tends to mean quite generic logs when i eventually get around to doing them with my faded memories. Given the last few logs for this cache (one of them containing only a single letter), I figured I should at least try and write something!
Found on a very pleasant walk around the neighbourhood, just trying to get some fresh air and keep the step count up. Being a nice day there were a few muggles around abouts, but this was spot was suitably clear. A gardening muggle across the road seemed rather more interested in whatever plants he was tending to than in me.
With all this lack of attention I was able to make the quick and easy find. As others have said, this is a mighty strong magnet! The log was pretty damp, but I managed to make some marks that looked vaguely like my caching name and today's date. TFTC

Easy find on a quiet long weekend. Taking the dog for a walk at the same time. Thanks for bringing me here & TFTC
Definitely an opportunist cache. Quick easy drive by. Thanks for this cache. Find No: 1021
The cache was surprisingly well hidden .. from nearby I watched muggles walk by, oblivious to the existence of the cache .. it was quickly found, signed and replaced .. thanks Team Yarra and BaLuke for placing the cache
This was a very nice little hide. Plenty of people in the area walking past, totally oblivious.
TFTC. A nice couple of easy finds for my daughter and her friend. Merry Christmas
As previously mentioned this cache is surprising well hidden considering the openness of the area. Good use of the local coverage. TFTC.
Out caching today trying to get some more smilies on this A-Z series. We decided to do a park and grab for this one and were not disappointed. TFTC Team Yarra.

Much easier to find the geocaches now that the rain has started to subside.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache hide here today, for without someone to hide there would be nothing for us to find.

Find number 5 for the day. I was enjoying my walk along the trails and looking for caches along the way. This was nicely hidden despite the open location. TFTC
