We arrived from the UK yesterday and were very keen to introduce our family to geocaching especially as there are two on their doorstep. This is the second of 2 finds during a stroll in the park. This is a great hide and fully deserves a favourite point. Im surprised to have found it so quicky as it is very clever and well disguised. A brilliant one to introduce the muggles to the magic of geocaching.Log book signed and returned as found. Thanks for hiding this one
TwoEms read the hint, and only one of us knew who that was. So after the other one of us did a quick search on the internet, we tortured ourselves with examples on our car trip along the wayok, maybe one of us liked the horror(ible) bit. Nevertheless, having now understood the clue, we had a bit of a chuckle when we found the hide. Thank you for the cache.
I knew who Mike Oldfield was. Cache was 8 m SW of GZ but clue was helpful: David
Found it almost immediately thanks to geobrother just screwing around . What a great hint too, understood it after we found it, great cache!
I had just about given up on this after digging around in the wrong spot for a little bit as I headed back down on the way to my next stop, I saw something that ended up being the cache. TFTC!
I had an album that rarely ever left the turntable. Thanks Team Yarra.
*By the way, if future finders take the time to flip through the log book, there are many empty pages where they can add their tags.*

Going past, saw the fav points on this one, so thought I'd stop.
Cache found very easily, after looking in a spot that would warrant favs... lol
Nice work on the hide ... and hint!

Thanks

Had to google his name saw a pic and it helped me work out where it was TFTC
Another one crossed off the to find list while staying over at my son's house to dog sit. Thanks Team Yarra for this sneaky cache which was fun to find.
Out this way spent about 1/2 looking for caches to turn into smiles. Quick find. TFTC.
Nicely hidden, the gps being slightly off threw us off track but we found it tin the end. Log book is quite full now. Thanks for the cache!
I was around when Mark Oldfield had his hit.I was never a great fan of the song. I did find the cache though, hidden in a very clever place. Love caching in the Doncaster / Templestowe area.
Out on our quest to get to 500 despite the ️ we headed out. However as the got worse, plans were adjusted for a park and grab series of caches. Always love these urban blocks/open space. Found it easily while ‘Moon light shadow’ played loudly from uTube helping us to ‘pushing through to the other side’ to grab and log our 500th geocache. TFTC
We were up this end of town for a birthday party and it fills a whole in my Wonders of the World, so I took the opportunity to grab it while the geofamily was at lunch. Fortunately I've seen one like this before and so once I was in the right spot it jumped out at me. Love this - all geocaches should be this sneaky. TFTC Team Yarra
Found it instantly once I came from a different direction. I enjoyed this little park that I've never been to before. TFTC
Quick find but will admit to using the hint. Clever placement. Geodaughter was impressed. Cool and wet day in Manningham. Thanks.

Mmmm this surprised me has it took a few minutes to locate, coordinates very good today. Nice parkland and enjoyed the meander from the car parking to GZ. A few muggles to dodge too.
Day 190 of 366 completed.

I’m out again for my lunchtime walk having not cached for a little while due to Covid but I think it’s time for me to start again even though we in stage four restrictions I am sticking within my 5K walking limit and trying to do the right thing. thanks for placing. If you have any concerns please message me and I’ll sort them out.
I found this case easy enough. I think I kinda get the hint:-)

Went out for a sunset cache and after a little searching managed to spot the cache. Hint still makes no sense. TFTC
Finally catching up on my last two weeks of logs...
Found on a very pleasant walk around the neighbourhood, just trying to get some fresh air and keep the step count up. After a couple of minutes and a bit of a lightbulb moment, I found this well hidden cache. I do no who Mike Oldfield is, and once spent a bit of time hanging out with his brother, Terry, also a fine musician and successful composer. TFTC

Quick find today. Geo dog is having fun & so am I. Thanks for the cache & thanks for bringing me here
I was a big fan of Mike Oldfield back in the day so the hint made perfect sense and the cache was soon found despite being well hidden. No muggles to be seen so retrieval was quick . Thanks BaLuke for placing the cache

After a most enjoyable meal in the local tavern, we had time to try and put a sprinkling of smiley tokens on our Crystal Brook map. One possibility was quickly dismissed, only to find later it was actually the prize. FP awared for clever placement.
Our thanks to 'baluke' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Out for a walk and to pick up some caches on this lovely sunny Melbourne day after the heat of the last couple of days. Once at GZ Mr Pooky made a quick easy find. Tftc and bringing us to this walking track.
This was a surprisingly quick find only because of the way we approached GZ. We do like a clever hide and this one earns a favourite point from us. TFTC Team Yarra.

In the pouring rain and howling wind this was quite the tricky geocache to find today.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache hide here today, for without someone to hide there would be nothing for us to find.

Find 6 of the day. The hint had me intrigued and I had an idea of what it might refer to. However, it took quite a while to zone in on the sneaky hide. Cache hint makes perfect sense - if you think that way of course! TFTC
Find #900. This hobby Continues to excite me it has taken me to places around the world and I’ve hidden a few caches myself now looking forward to the next milestone thanks for bringing me here, well hidden
Found by Mary and David, in company with pprass, at 15:18:00. Peter had planned ta bike ride for us to follow the series along the trails through the parks. Started out fresh, but gradually the hills took their toll on old legs and on the remaing life of our eBike batteries. Still managed more than 6 hours with about 20% charge left. An interesting series with a variety of hides to keep us on our mental toes. Our thanks to baluke.
Found at 3:18 PM GAFF3 in the company of maccamob.
This was a nice hide which was enhanced by a very cryptic hint that took me straight to the cache [^]
Thanks baluke

Hi Team Yarra, greetings from Tassie. We're staying nearby so geoSonE and I headed out this morning for a walk to find some caches. geoSonE made a very quick find here before I got a chance to look! First one for the day.
Nice hide, thanks for the cache.

TFTC. The hubby found this one after my DNF earlier in the year. Didn’t bring a pen so will be back to sign (close to home)
The sixth of 9 caches this morning in Team Yarra’s A-Z series.
P is for perfectly hidden. I had an idea of where to look and on arrival “ding-dong” - there it was! My favourite for the morning

Both amaali and I knew who Mike Oldfield was and it did help a little, I still have the record.
Thanks Team Yarra for the cache a great hide.

Found it. Good hide and also good spot. Very hot day with over 42 degrees today. Thanks Team Yarra for placing the cache.
I enjoyed the musician mentioned in the day which made it a bit easier to figure out what I was looking for. TFTC.
I do like these simple, yet elegant hides that make for a quick find, while remaining well hidden to the rest of the world. TFTC.
I actually stuck my fingers in at ground zero and still didn't find it. I tried the hint, knowing nothing of Mike Oldfield, and tried to apply it to what I could see. Played with GZ again and ding ding ding, we have a winner! And just in time to get to work!

Caching buddies: Riddell & Boetietim & Tim_Amy
This took longer to find than usual especially since it was dark. As a previous finder said, one of the team jumped down with his kid and then looked back to his jumping spot and found the cache ! Coords were at least 7m out!

The darkness certainly made this one challenging even as we were searching as a group.Took some searching but was eventually located. The hint did not offer any assistance as no one could relate and a google search did not help either in the end. So we searched around and persisted as no one wanted this to be the first DNF and we were rewarded. Very well hidden and cache is still in good condition. TFTC

It was great to see a few different hides whilst out and about today. This was one of them. Lovely area. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Riding to this one, I wasn't sure whether to go high or low...and first chose the wrong level. Going to the other level, I retrieved the cache from the first place I looked...and then realised the joke from the hint. It rung some bells from my past.
Thanks, Team Yarra.
Thanks, Team Yarra.
TFTC, relatively quick find after I read the clue. Almost got sprung by a walker though who snuck up from behind.
Intending to do the next leg of the trail around Manningham and get some km saw me arrive at this cache. Must remember not to read past logs until having a proper search. Reading day's log really jinxed me here and it took a good few minutes before I looked in the appropriate place.
A nice quick easy find on a day out to unashamedly get my numbers up to hit the 2000 mark at the upcoming Alexandra MEGA.
Took a while to find. Googled the hint. Still couldn't find it. Looked at old logs. Still couldn't find it. Scrolled and scrolled until I was standing there looking at my phone and thought......Maybe.
And it was.

Third one for the day. Out with my mum today who has lived in the area for over 50 years and actually knew the people who some of the parks are named after. TFTC
The hint and a previous log helped me find this one... probably tested me a little too much.
Oh dear, this one took me a while but I'm glad I found it. I stopped here a while ago and the hint didn't mean anything to me - I googled it and was looking for an object often used in caching, but nothing.
Today I googled again and turned up something else that related to GZ, searched but no cache. Then I stopped to read some of the logs... I think I was on the right track, checked again - there it is, I just didn't explore that area thoroughly enough. Thanks!

I raced through the dark in the dying minutes of the day, trying to keep my streak alive. I'd managed 2 finds each day of 2017, and today was NOT going to be the end!!
I had found my first at "Q" just down the road and ran all the way here to ensure I made it before midnight. I checked the clue as I ran to save time.
At GZ my map had me initially trying to increase the terrain rating. But then the clue made sense in the nick of time and the cache was found only seconds before the new day. Relieved, I replaced the cache and wandered back towards the car. As I looked at the image of the logsheet, I discovered that in my mad haste I had written the wrong date in it!
And once seen, it had to be made right. So back I went again, but a little slower this time, lol.
Thanks Baluke. Your series has saved my successive days caching streak a few times.
Cheers.
