Collecting some caches in the car today for the latest souvenir challenge.Found the little side street easily enough parked up nearby and headed to the gz.Walked around it a couple of times and must of checked out and felt near enough everywhere and then I saw one last place is it in this end no but the other end yes.Very sneaky hide.Good job there was no one waiting for any bus here today.
Our original plan was to go out to Mangere and do some caching out there today, but then we got a message from a friend who is here from Australia, did we want to catch up for coffee or something at Botany? Well, plans changed and we went for coffee. This meant that our caching adventure was going to be a bit closer to home, but no matter, as long as caches were found.
After departing from our friend, we headed out this way to gather some caches for the day. We came across this and had a go at it. Making sure that we didn't miss the entrance to the side road was probably the trickiest part about this cache. We pulled up behind the bus stop and Mr. Kiwi jumped out to find the cache. It took a little while to explore the various nooks and crannies on the bus stop, but it didn't take all that long to come up with the goods.
The log was signed and the cache replaced back where it was found. I just wish that a cache that I had placed could be hidden so easily on a bus stop, but the new bus stops seem to be made of aluminium and therefore not magnetic.

In need of a cache for the daily streak and two fails aready logged we were hopeful of 3rd time lucky. Pleased when kiwiscot found the cache. Now time to get on with Christmas. TFTC
Not quite what we thought this would be or where we thought it would be. Quite clever hiding for this kind of hide. Picked up the TB here. Thanks!
Not many places to hide a cache in one of these places, so kudos to CO for finding a sneaky spot! Was wondering if we should attempt this one as there was a DNF before us, but no issues here. Cache is in good condition. Tftc
We searched this stop thoroughly and even when sitting like others previously said no eclipse tin in sight. May have been moved or possibly taken?
Found it! This is a fairly secluded spot to hunt for a cache on a busy road. Thankfully no travellers while we were here. Left a TB to hitch a ride.
TFTC!

Another nice day of cashing for the Hidden creatures challenge. This one took me a while since it was tucked deep inside its hiding place. Saw it at the second thorough check. And then I had to wait for the bus, since a muggle came and sat down right next to me...TFTC
Hidden creatures challenge... ACCEPTED. Found together with Greenkiwikids and Pyphant and signed as team Piraten. TFTC
Today I met thegreatauk for a little Caching tour at noon time. Most of them were easy to find and in good condition.
And another quick find.
Thanks for hiding!

After attending the 90th birthday celebration of Mark's mother this afternoon, we headed off to make a few cache finds to increase our finds tally for March 25th. With not a lot of daylight left we headed into the park for our first 3 finds, then opted to head for street hides for the last 5 we wanted.
We parked nearby and, without checking the GPS, headed for the bus stop we had spied in our headlights. After searching fruitlessly for a good 10 minutes, one of us pulled out his phone, and realised we were still 50m from the cache! Doh! GZ is actually over there! On arrival the cache was immediately found in the spot the other one had been about to check at the 'false' GZ. TFTC.

A fantastic day out cacher hunting with the family, cache and log in good condition, thank you for placing the cache
I had actually found this cache a while ago but forgotten to log it... and I only just realised when I came to find it again today lol It took a few attempts previously as there had always been people waiting , TFTC!
Stopped here this morning on the way to work. Muggle free (they were all over the road heading the other way). Had done one of these before, so found this one quickly. Signed and rehid. Nice series, thanks, I think I have at least one more to find. TFTC
Took ages to cross this busy road both coming from and going from the cache. Soon found. TFTC
Found ... small detour on my way home from work ... parked in the lay-by & walked through to GZ ... having done most, if not all, of the other Maxx series, I knew where it would be & had it quickly found, log completed & replaced ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,379 for us.
Love these bus stop caches. this one was exposed so have tucked away better. Day three of our 4 day road trip from Hawkes Bay to Auckland and back to collect as many caches as we can. Log signed as b&p.Tftc
Nice quick park and grab on a wet day with shelter provided. Found with Tinytree24. TFTC.
After a DNF near Howick Beach we trekked out with the kids to find some easier ones, Mr 7 found this one easily.

Found with fleye. This was our last find of the day and it was nice to end on a high
After almost declaring giving up somehow I found it. Should have looked there in the first place anyway haha.
This series is great for getting some numbers to my list of finds, and I do newd it for my dash to the 2200 (tring to beat the second from the top finder in my country). Easy find as expected, TFTC!
Found a third one in this bus series .... Thanks again 2 and a half kiwis !!!!!
Another MAXX cache for me today, the last one after a successful day caching. TFTC!
Struggled a bit with that one, but found it eventually with a hint from jbeau. Thanks for the cache!
Moping up a few cache's after work. This one was WAY harder than it had to be. Everytime I touched the cache I pushed it further away!!! Mrs NZTravellers came to rescue with appropriate tool and we soon had cache in hand. TFTC

Since I'm working on a construction site at present along Chapel Rd, I thought I might attempt some caches in this part of Auckland on my way home out west. I wasn't in the mood for facing the damn peak hour traffic so bypassed that with some pleasant MAXX series bustop caches, don't know how many in the series but I found 6 or so tonight along with several more here and there. Thanks for the diversion from everyday humdrum!
A spot of weekend caching in Auckland. Nice one.
Made a straightforward find on this one, sort of. Cache in order; log signed, safely re-hidden.
Getting maxxed-out!
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!
