Given the last logs I didn't have high hopes. This part of the road is really busy and I parked on the other side. Being able to sprint was a definite advantage.
Had a mild poke around, but there aren't a lot of hiding places anyway.

We are wondering if this cache has disappeared as we searched for some time. Lots of ground disturbance around and broken glass. Will try another day. Thank you Rapidlywild.
Did a trip to the NT... the easy way! I have visited half of the real places. I was trying to remember this name and was drawing a blank, so pleased to see it isnt a suburb
On the way southside, and I had picked a puzzle nearby that ended up being a DNF
Had planned to come through here in the colder months for a P&G, but decided this would be a good contingency.
Cache was found easily enough and in good condition. TFTC RW!

Day 5 Mega Trip
Now at Queanbeyan for the Clear Waters Mega we headed out today with Tassie Trekkersto find a few caches. It is hard to know where to start, there are som many to choose from. As we were heading to another area we spotted this series and collected a few on our way to somewhere else. TFTC

We have arrived at Queanbeyan for the Clear Waters Mega event and targeted some caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Decided to go out and grab some caches to get closer to my 3000th milestone and this lot will help me get there. Tftc rapidlywild
Ok ... I had a middle of the day appointment to donate blood (school holidays so not at work and had figured while I was down this way I might see if I could find a heap of caches so I was closer to getting that last hidden creatures souvenir, so ... after donating blood, and staying for my milkshake and coffee, I headed south, stopping at a few caches along the way.
Then I stopped at the end of Mugga Lane for a few more, then decided to park and find a few just a bit further down the road ... by which time it had somehow got dark. Then I decided to grab the others down that road and head down that way, along the highway, to do what I could of some of the trails around Richardson or somewhere that I had originally planned to do, but I saw a spot to park just around the corner as I turned on to the highway, and decided to do a couple of the Tralee trail caches first ... and ended up looking for them all - wandering around in the frost and enjoying myself - lol
Then I decided it was probably time I went home and had some (rather late) dinner, but as I was driving North I decided to make a detour to grab a couple caches I wanted to get up in Watson, and ended up looking for a few there ... ending the evening with not finding one (3rd strike for the day - I guess I am out?) at about Midnight ... then I went home and had a couple of pies for (very late!) dinner
TFTC - nice quick one - Park, duck over road, found in first place I looked

We just thought we would add a few caches to our day's tally as we drove along this road. We have been to Darwin at various times before. We have watched motor sport racing that has been held at Hidden Valley. The caches were all easy to find and all logs were duly noted with our name. Thanks to Rapidlywild for placing so many caches to be found around this area.
with the school holidays starting again we wanted to get into geocaching again
today we went out and started finding caches close to home in Farrer
thanks for the hides it was good fun to get back into it

With four days off and a friend who just days ago moved to braddon from bathurst it was time to catch up. An early start to show him canberra as i enjoy it and cache along the way.
Parliament house, lake burley Griffin, kambah for lunch then along to condor then up the black tower via paddys river and mount stromlo before finishing off such a long day at mount Ainslie.
Pulled over for a quick find before heading to the burns club for lunch.

I got a little Distracted and went the wrong way but found it in the end. Tftc! Found on the way to the Canberra CITO.
Taking advantage of a public holiday, nibletricecakes and I headed out with a plan to end up at our third CITO for the weekend.
Quick few finds to finish the day.....glad to get a few more of these ticked off the list.

Parked behind same vehicle again! Must be a Geocacher - it was, nice to meet you, Gazza.
Easy find. Met up with Silvereyes. Always good to meet a fellow cacher on the trails.

Found 16:15 16/7/17 after looking at the solar farm. Thank you Rapidlywild for the cache.
Well, that saved a trip to Katoomba, thanks. Log a bit damp in a torn bag, I added a new bag
Aquilus1 and I had wet feet from previous caches, so thought we might as well come and do this trail. The cache was wet inside, but log half dry and able to sign. Not sure if this needs maintenance as it might dry out ok? TFTC!!!
Out with dty73 looking for some wet weather terrain caches today, and the ones in the area here looked good. With just a slight drizzle from time to time a nice quick park and grab was ideal, although by now the shoes and pants where getting very wet from the grass and the clouds had built back up for a good dumping of rain. Made the decision as already wet and cold so to keep going to the end, luckily the rain eased up as well, but glad for the cars heater! Cache was full of water and needed emptying, log was also a bit wet but still ok and log was able to be signed fine. Thanks for the cache Rapidlywild!
Another one in this series that has taken us too long to get to. Driving in the area today meant we could pick up a couple more.
Thanks Rapidlywild.

We did a few quick drive-by finds today before starting a longer cache walk. This one was a nice easy find. TFTC!
Wooot! 2nd attempt allowed us to gran this.
(belated because I'm a slacker only just logging my haul of caches.)
Part of our daily cache grind.
Thanks for this one. Found on the day with my family 4as1 team.
Thanks

Second time lucky on this one for us, a quick park and grab. Found as part of 4as1 TFTC
We had to have a 2nd attempt at this one we tried a few months ago but couldnt get it, this time we quickly had it. Found as part of 4as1 TFTC
After a DNF on this earlier in the year we thought we would come back for another attempt to a rushed effort to get our cache of the day. Quick park and the kids quickly made the find and did the signing duties TFTC Found as part of 4as1
Again I needed to collect the geoson from work in Queanbeyan so took the opportunity to seek out some geocaches on the way.
Thank you Rapilywild for this cache.

#1695 13 of 16 today.
The weather for the last week or so has been pretty ordinary with storms appearing every day. Today isn't much better and it's it getting darker as I type. I managed to duck out to Hume/Tralee today as I'd heard there are some interesting caches out there. Sunday is definitely the day to visit this industrial suburb as it's almost deserted.
There was a kangaroo carcass here. Ewww.
Thanks for the cache Rapidlywild.

After walking around, up, down, and over Mt Taylor, I headed home via this series. All but one easily found. TFTC, and helping me learn more about this country.

Another one done. Yay! I found this as part of a daily streak I am working on - over 100 days completed so far. The first month wasn't so bad, the 2nd month got harder, the 3rd I settled into a routine, but now it's getting more challenging to make sure I don't miss a day especially when I'm travelling for work.
I love the challenge of the geocache cache hunt - read the notes, decipher the cache requirements, and go searching for the hide. This is an amazing world wide game of hide and seek. I love it!
Thanks go to Rapidlywild for placing this cache and maintaining it. It's a great contribution to the Geocaching community and much appreciated. I enjoyed finding this one at night with 5yo geokid. This cache was another "Found it" for me. TFTC! Cheers. [Blue]Jump Pilot[/Blue]

Took the opportunity to find some more caches with Joelisa while he was still up. Tftc.

Second last find of this series, just in time for a visit to Darwin next week. I feel much better prepared now
This was a quick park and grab. Lots of traffic, but some gaps were easy enough to find. I took a nice little green Parasaurolophus and left a very attractive blue frog.
TFTC - I'm enjoying this series and now only Parap to go.

My geo323 was in the mechanics today getting the brakes and cam belt done.
DMuggle kindly agreed to come out with me for a quick lunchtime cache and to provide the transport.
This one was an "up my sleeve" for when I needed a quick easy one, and today was the day and I'm pleased that it didn't let me down. We parked at the entrance to Rose Cottage, familiar because its where our dog friends do tracking training, and then a short walk to GZ. Found a bit more camo to cover container as it was a little exposed. Thanks for the (handy) NT series Rapidlywild, I think that I may have completed it now.

I can never seem to find a quiet time to do this series. Saturday afternoon sure isn't it. Did it anyway and got one toot. TFTC series Rapidlywild.
Traffic is really picking up along this stretch of road, with people making a weekend pilgrimage to the tip, so I'll make this my last cache for morning. Gotta be at work shortly anyway TFTC, Rapidlywild.
Since I was in the area I thought to grab this series - skipped the first one because of a dead bird - missed the 2nd because heavy traffic, so got this one. Saturday avo may not be the best time to do these with all the residential traffic going into the tip. Thanks Rapidlywild.
Driving now in the reverse direction along Long Gully Road we stopped for just a last few caches. This was the last one. A quick find here and it wasn't long before we were on our way again. Thanks for the interesting info about Darwin and its suburbs Rapidlywild. Perhaps I'll be fortunate enough to find more of this series on my next visit to Canberra. [^][^]
The fifteenth and final cache on my trip to this area, finding 15 caches to celebrate 2015! On approach it appeared that there was no little dirt pull off area like with most of the others but that was OK as the grass was fine to park on. I walked over to GZ to make a quick find once there. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC Rapidlywild!
Our last for the morning and that completes the NT series for us. It's been fun. Thanks.
We didn't intend to do the NT series when setting out this morning but once started it isn't seem right to stop.
We dodged the rain showers as much as we could and enjoyed discovering some of the walking tracks around Canberra. This was one of the caches we targetted and were able to find. [^][^] Thanks to Rapidlywild for placing this cache and giving us the opportunity to see this area.
Out for some early morning caching before the family pulls themselves out of bed. A quick and easy find. Thanks Rapidlywild
Ventured down from Sydney to complete this great series with geo friends Bluewattle & Fit02, TFTC.
My grandad and I drove back along Mugga Lane to finish off the NT series this afternoon. A nice quick park and grab despite it being on the other side of the road. TFTC!
Found with HH3K and JLT late in the afternoon. Needed a quick fix of caches to finish off the weekend, so texted JLT who was super keen to get some more in the lead up to her next milestone... HH3K was again too fast for us in spotting the cache! thanks Rapidlywild!
Found with AG27 and JLT this afternoon. quick park and grab - I was all over this one thanks Rapidlwild!
Yeah HH3K all over this one when I pointed it out to him LOL - last of the day. Thanks Rapidlywild.
Haha I loved the hint for this one! Thats a very interesting tree....
Had to try and avoid looks from all the oncoming cars, pretended I was talking on the phone and made a quick grab when the coast was clear

Accompanied with Sevabo and Skyejam for the day before they return back to Sydney... Signed the log. Thanks Rapidlywild.
Great day out for caching with Everlasting and skyejam - enjoyed the travelling. Thanks for the caches around here.
