Got it! Finally returned for this one about one year less a week after I tried for it unsuccessfully last time.I tell ya what, a bit of sunlight certainly helps! Walked straight up to it just about and scrawled my name into the log. Ahhh the sweet scent of turning a blue face into a yellow onethanks!
Thrashed about for a while at ground zero but the long grass defeated me! Shall come back when I have some sunlight to work with
Was a bit concerned this one hadn't been found for over a year, but cache is safe and well hidden.

Found it. Might need to be relocated. There is too much rubbish everywhere. Please all be careful around that area, found baby glass bottles around the ground.
I’ve yet to cache the NT; I guess this is the next best thing. Thanks Rapidlywild.
8/20
As I am actually on my way to the Container Deposit Scheme Return Centre in Fyshwick, I picked up a bottle that was lying around here. That's 10 cents extra.
As it's the geocaching birthday weekend with GPS technology turned on to the public 20 years ago today and the first cache hidden 20 years ago tomorrow, I thought I should find a cache today and tomorrow.
After I found a cache in Phillip, I decided I should really do 20 caches over the weekend, 10 today and 10 tomorrow. By the time I got home today I had logged 15, plus 3 DNFs.

Found this one just after stopping off at the tip to drop off some recycling. Simple find, thanks for the cache!
This cache was the just one more cache. I had to run back to the car in order to be on time for picking my son up from his after school activity so I definitely got my exercise in for the day. Along the way, I was startled by a kangaroo that just leaped up out of the grass. I stopped dead in my tracks for fear of causing it to bounce out onto the road. At 5:30pm on a weekday, this road is very busy. Thankfully it hobbled back towards the fence. It may have already been hit by a car. I crossed over and gave it plenty of space. This cache gave me my second Diamond in the Mystery at the Museum event. TFTC
Did a trip to the NT... the easy way! I have visited half of the real places. No idea where Ludmilla is I have to admit
Another long great day out with woolwood9 hunting containers.

Day 5 Mega Trip
Now at Queanbeyan for the Clear Waters Mega we headed out today with Tassie Trekkersto find a few caches. It is hard to know where to start, there are som many to choose from. As we were heading to another area we spotted this series and collected a few on our way to somewhere else. TFTC

We have arrived at Queanbeyan for the Clear Waters Mega event and targeted some caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Quick park and grab but very busy stretch of road so had to time it well... good thing this one was an easy find. TFTC
Tftc! Nice spot! Probably looked like wierdos on the side of the road but ehh!
Yay it was there today. Hardest bit was finding a break on the traffic and trying to be inconspicuous, but cache retrieved and log signed.... eventually haha. TFTC
Don't know why I haven't done this one in the past. Today, parked on the side of the very busy road and wandered over to make a quick find of the cache.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Decided to go out and grab some caches to get closer to my 3000th milestone and these were just the ones. Tftc rapidlywild
Ok ... I had a middle of the day appointment to donate blood (school holidays so not at work and had figured while I was down this way I might see if I could find a heap of caches so I was closer to getting that last hidden creatures souvenir, so ... after donating blood, and staying for my milkshake and coffee, I headed south, stopping at a few caches along the way.
Then I stopped at the end of Mugga Lane for a few more, then decided to park and find a few just a bit further down the road ... by which time it had somehow got dark. Then I decided to grab the others down that road and head down that way, along the highway, to do what I could of some of the trails around Richardson or somewhere that I had originally planned to do, but I saw a spot to park just around the corner as I turned on to the highway, and decided to do a couple of the Tralee trail caches first ... and ended up looking for them all - wandering around in the frost and enjoying myself - lol
Then I decided it was probably time I went home and had some (rather late) dinner, but as I was driving North I decided to make a detour to grab a couple caches I wanted to get up in Watson, and ended up looking for a few there ... ending the evening with not finding one (3rd strike for the day - I guess I am out?) at about Midnight ... then I went home and had a couple of pies for (very late!) dinner
TFTC - Decided to keep coming this way and do these few along the road, and then make it a loop past some of the others I had originally planned to find, and keep caching in the cold and dark Possibly a good choice to keep caching for a while - traffic is still probably crazy whichever way I could go home, and i just heard on car radio that Tuggeranong parkway is totally blocked going north.
Oops pulled over 150m too far along, and had to walk back ... Nice quick find though...

On the way past a quick stop and find. Done a number in this series over the years I think. TFTC!
We just thought we would add a few caches to our day's tally as we drove along this road. We have been to Darwin at various times before but did not know the history of the naming of suburbs. The caches were all easy to find and all logs were duly noted with our name. Thanks to Rapidlywild for placing so many caches to be found around this area.
with the school holidays starting again we wanted to get into geocaching again
today we went out and started finding caches close to home in Farrer
thanks for the hides it was good fun to get back into it

Cache replaced AGAIN !
People PLEASE cover the caches once your finished with them. These NT ones are not in locations where a random muggle will just pick them up so it comes down to the Cachers covering them effectively.
New cache and log in place, last time replacing this one, next step will be archiving the series.

Searched base as beat I could but no sign of a cache. Grass is very long so might come back in summer lol
Aquilus1 and I had wet feet from previous caching in long grass, so thought we might as well finish this trail. Was found quickly than goodness as the rain started up again. TFTC!!!
Out with dty73 looking for some wet weather terrain caches today, and the ones in the area here looked good. With just a slight drizzle from time to time a nice quick park and grab was ideal, although by now the shoes and pants where getting very wet from the grass and the clouds had built back up for a good dumping of rain. Cache was found quickly and dty73 jumped back into the much warmer and dryer car to sign the log. Thanks for the cache Rapidlywild!
After finding about 2 thirds of the ACT 1000 Club we decided the heat was too much and decided to enjoy the geocar's A/C and visit the NT: Suburbs series. All were found easily except for 1DNF. Thank you Rapidlywild for this series.
Visiting Canberra from Brisbane for a few days. Found the cache and signed the log. TFTCHi

Found on an afternoon cache run picking up GA caches for the Summer Game. I was in this area and wanted to find at least one GC cache and so made my way down to this one and made the find between traffic. Took me a while to make the grab and then return it. Cache in good condition. Thanks again RW
This was the 3rd and final (for today) in this series that we managed to collect on our mission to this area. There was one more we could have grabbed, but a ute was parked right a GZ, so we gave it a miss. Lots of long grass out here at the moment, so we were grateful to have worn our long pants.
Thanks Rapidlywild. A nice series, and we are glad to have all your caching skills/hides here in Canberra (not Darwin).

I started these a while ago. I really should finish them off.
Parked at GZ and made a quick find.
Thanks.

Another one done. Woo Hoo! I love the challenge of the geocache hunt - read the notes, decipher the cache requirements, and go searching for the hide. This is an amazing world-wide game of hide and seek. I love it! I also enjoy caching with my family, and meeting fellow cachers. It really is a small world when I read over cache logs. **Thanks go to Rapidlywild** for placing this cache and maintaining it. It's a great contribution to the Geocaching community and much appreciated.
I enjoyed finding this one at 4:34:06 PM.
TFTC! Cheers. *Jump Pilot*

Another easy find in this series. Enjoying doing this one due to bringing back many trips to the NT for work. Tftc
We did a few quick drive-by finds today before starting a longer cache walk. This one was a nice easy find. TFTC!
#1136. 132 days in a row.
I stopped by this area on my way home from a friend's place. Found the cache fairly easily by torch light, signed the log and walked back to my car. Glad there weren't any kangaroos around on this road tonight, because I have seen them before.

Again I needed to collect the geoson from work in Queanbeyan so took the opportunity to seek out some geocaches on the way.
Thank you Rapilywild for this cache.

#1698 16 of 16 today.
The weather for the last week or so has been pretty ordinary with storms appearing every day. Today isn't much better and it's it getting darker as I type. I managed to duck out to Hume/Tralee today as I'd heard there are some interesting caches out there. Sunday is definitely the day to visit this industrial suburb as it's almost deserted.
Thanks for the cache Rapidlywild.

After walking around, up, down, and over Mt Taylor, I headed home via this series. All but one easily found. TFTC, and helping me learn more about this country.

A quick find on a day out caching with Joelisa. TFTC.

I'm off up to Darwin next week, so I thought I better get this series finished before I go. A very small detour on the way home from work and a quick and easy find. Lots of traffic going by but with a nonchalant approach and reasonably decent timing I was able to grab the cache unnoticed.
