A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT.Now with a detour to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island and finally along the Savannah Way through Hells Gate.TFTC. Stuck on the highway going 60 km/h in a 130 zone behind a b-tripple.... time for a cache stop. Nice hide.

Clever. I popped it and put it back then had another go.Favourite point added We are supporting our mate who is running to Darwin (@curlyrunsnz). He started at Stewart Island in November, just south of the South Island of New Zealand and made to Cape Reinga at the tip of the North Island by New Years Day. He then flew to Tasmania, ran to the ferry terminal in Devonport and sailed to Geelong. Since then it has been a long hard slog across Victoria and into South Australia up the Stuart Highway but he is now close to the finish line in Darwin.Lumpyjrb, I found Square Peg In A Round Hole! today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.

We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I hope to grab a few caches along the way.

An easy find with the hint but then I had the song in my head for the rest of the day.

Sometimes it's strange. Exactly next to the cache stood a car and a the driver was filling in some forms or so. We drove past, turned and he was about to leave. Next came a farmer, whose farm gate seems to be here. So more waiting for us. But we found the cache quite easily afterwards.

Easy find, harder to get to log TFTC

Well I shed blood on this one managing to cut myself in the retrieval process. Log was almost full so have left an additional sheet and replaced the zip lock bag so should be all set for the wet. TFTC

#6978 - 11:20; Day 18 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. Following a night in Mataranka Springs we continued enroute to Darwin after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs refreshed after a swim to start the day. We were headed to Adelaide River to spend the night, passing through Katherine and Pine Creek The caching picked up again today after a couple of quiet ones as we covered some big distances. We managed 47 finds and 10 DNFs along with a few trig points for the day. All caches found were in good nick, including this one. TFTC Lumpyjrb

Alice trip 2017. Day 16. Another day of driving, today took Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I from Mataranka to Adelaide River. Long distances with fewer caches until we arrived at Katherine. Great country along the way.

13423. Next find of Day 08 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. Heading North.

I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.

Next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.

On the road to the Alice Springs Mega with LuckyL10n and Albida33. We arrived in Alice Springs to pick up fitzy_1965 to complete our group and set about the fun of attending the event.

We spent the next 5 days caching around the region enjoying the area and finding a lot of the local caches. After the event we set our sights on Darwin and started off on the next stage of our road trip.

Managed to find another few caches and had a great time doing so.

Thanks for all the caches and the fun in grabbing them.

Today is day 21 of an adventure that will take me around Australia with a group of trackables. My caches visited can be tracked by checking out the Key Ring using the code TB4P4C1.

Back on the bitumen after 3 days of dirt. Another 3 days and we will have over a week of it again. We will enjoy this bit of highway driving. It's the places people take you to with their cache placements that inspires you to explore our great Country.

Our last cache for the day before arriving at Katherine. It is almost 3 years since we were in the area and found a few. So many more now and not enough time to do them all.

As a part of my contribution to helping make the "Easter 2017 Red Centre Experience" GC6825Z a great Event, I will be leaving a card in every cache that is large enough to take it. 2 week holiday in the nt cross caching trip with geoparents who have come from germany for a visit.
Unfortunately 2 weeks go so fast and after having driven down from darwin to alice springs and uluru we have to make our way back to darwin for our flight back to cairns but not without finding a few more caches

Just thought it was a good time to pick up some more caches before heading out of Katherine and continuing our travels. TFTC.

Another wonderful day in Katherine. The cache raid today was a random start point followed by a string of caches selected, in most cases, by the "next closest" method.
We didn't spot the trackable that was supposed to be in the cache.
