My dad worked in the closest building to here for many years. I rode around exploring it for a while today and logged some caches (and plenty of DNFs). Thanks for the cache Allied Pranksters.

Needed one to keep the streak going and this was it. Found after a not so systematic search, it had to be in one of them.

Felt a bit like one of those fairy-tale trolls while signing the log.

A quick find after parking locally and walking down while my MB was in the shop for some work. The cache was exactly where I expected after having had a quick look around a week or two ago, but unable to retrieve because of heavy muggle activity at the time. SL. Thanks to AP for the cache.

This one is very close to my place...

So close in fact we spotted it some time ago while doing the 31 days of caching challenge in Aug, but not wanting to be greedy as we had just found another cache close by, we just sighted it and then left it alone as a special reserve cache for one of those days when time is of the essence.

Today was one of those days so a quick detour on my way to work (Nightshift) to sign the little sucker and keep my caching streak alive.

Clever hide that was spotted by Jacobscrew who was caching with us and iluvtrekking today.

Bumped into the richlink/iluvtrekking/Jacobscrew again here, just as they were leaving, who gave me a pointer as to the hide, which narrowed it down quite a bit, but still had some cache blindness before finally spotting the clever hide.

Teaming up with the Richlink and ILuvTrekking for another great day off geocaching. The weather was beautiful after continues raining for the last couple of months. Plenty of water flowing down from the hill with lots of over flowing streams. We found GZ quickly and signed the log.TFTC

Good hide first for the day

[:(!] Went for a six hour caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes, where could you hide a small object like that, there were several obvious spots all looking the same but it did not take long to spot where it was.

On the way home from work Daz, accompanied by Mr CDM261, decided to bag a cache for day twteny two of the month long caching streak challenge. This one proved to be quite a challenge for our tired minds after a long day in the sun. Nevertheless after checking a few potential locations the cache was soon in hand. Streak still in tact. TFTC.

After visiting mr dazndky's schools sports day and picking him up from work there we were heading home, tired and ready for a quiet evening, but we needed a cache for day 22 of the 31 days of August geocaching, so we used a smart phone to check on caches along out route.
Found a couple near the Gosnell's council buildings and park, so decided to stop and go on the hunt.
This cache was a little tricky to find but after a few minutes of persistence we had the cache in had, signed the log and returned it to it's hiding place.

We tried finding this yeasterday but time was against us so we had to come back today and re-look. This time we were armed with a torch. That highlighed it well as it was pushed in well out of the reach by the previous finders we would never have seen it otherwise.

Out with the geo kids to keep up with the 31 in August knew it was a process of elimination for the find so didn't take to long TFTC!!!

Headed out early to find 3/31 .... glad to report a nice quick find.

Located this one on a night caching run with spelluncle. We quickly determined where it would logically be and then it was just a matter of persistence and the cache was swiftly at hand.

Out and about in the Gosnells area to clear a few caches, this took awhile to locate as the GPSr took a while to settle, a nasty hide. SL TFTC AP

My last cache for the afternoon. The GPS was struggling a bit around here, so I just turned it off and started a systematic search. I found some good spots, and after a while I found the cache Nice hide! Thanks for the cache Allied Pranksters.

Parked in the nearby council car park and wandered over and across the bridge and found nothing. Decided to reduce my altitude by a 1.5 meters which provide to be advantageous.

Headed northward today and teamed up with Mrs OOH YEH for a days caching. After doing the new ones down Byford way, we headed north to try our luck with some of the ones around here. This one took a bit of ferreting around to find, but find it we did. Also found a cute little frog hiding under the bridge, trying not to be found. Sneaky hide by both the frog and the cache. We came over for me to fill up the 4wd at the cheap fuel just to the north and decided, while we were waiting in line, to check online with the netbook and noticed that this one had not been logged as yet.

Was a quick find in an obvious spot, to me at least, and a blank log found.
