11/03/2017 -- 1.03pm -- IT IS NO LONGER THERE ... I retrieved cache & it's in safe keeping as cache hide was in pieces on the ground, luckily with cache still attached, due to nearby road works. It was lucky we decided to head round that corner than go to the earlier one otherwise it would have been lost.
My son drives past this location for work & had warned me a couple of weeks ago (which I passed on to the co) that they had started work but the actual cache site hadn't been touched, but it wasn't in place today. He managed to stop quite quickly when I noticed the problem so I could have a look & save the container.
CO can contact me for the return of it.

In the company of pprass,
another quick park and grab, and the flies were going nuts, there must of been something dead around here.

A nice easy drive-by on the way home from work. The cache was in an obvious place, so of course I missed it and hunted around for 5 minutes, before finally spotting it. Thanks for the cache
Log is damp and needs to be dried (maybe a new o-ring too?).

It was a great stop on the way to Kongwak Market. A busy spot but we managed.
We nearly walked away from this one when matt_geo said surely it has to be ??? and from a slightly different angle I spotted the cache and said "You're right it is!" Log signed and we were back on our way. Very quiet around here today with wet and wild conditions.
We walked around this one and were about to give up when it was spotted by cjfinda. TFTC.
A quick find when we found GZ, doing a caching circuit today to have a look around and hopefully add some numbers. TFTC
This was quickly spotted have driven past here lots still had room to sign Tftc but log is nearly full
Suscoe had a bit of exploration work today trying to find a good number of caches that we missed this week as we were wandering the countryside of this area.
We are enjoying wandering the country roads and taking in the farmland scenes around here, Some fine looking cattle too.
A cloudy start to the day with drizzle keeping things cool, a strong wind at times and later on some delightful sunshine too.
31st find of the day.
Well once we worked out how to access the right road we made the find.
This is certainly a dangerous corner and we saw how this could be.

Should have been a quicker find but was looking too hard and missed it - gps a little out but if you think about it you will know where to look - tflc
Hi there KTCvic.
We found your cache "X Road"at 12:01:00 PM today, & this now makes our find count 12635.
Our cache run today started with another aborted attempt to fill a hole in our D/T grid - the rain was so bad that we just headed back to the car. Our alternate plan was to log a random cache and then navigate from cache to cache using the "next closest" method before returning back to camp for a rather late lunch.
After we were suitably refreshed we trudged our way along the beach to finally find the elusive 5/4.5 cache.
Today we ended up logging 16 and DNFing 1 caches.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache around 2m from where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: [Red]The log is full. Unfortunately we didn't have anything to replace it with.[/Red]
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

This is day 27 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states being Victoria and Tasmania.
This one was not hiding where we thought it might be but after looking around we saw where it was. The log was then duly signed and the cache replaced as found. Thank you for bringing us here and TFTC.

Found this one after the Wonthaggi event tonight. I had attempted this one the previous day unsuccessfully. Tonight I followed my gps and ended up in the correct location and the cache was soon located and the log signed. This cache goes towards a New Zealand challenge cache that I am doing currently around isolated caches.
Thanks for the cache KTCivic.

Out and about with xambo4u and after the event we headed off to find a few caches. Decided to do a little drive out of town. Cache was quickly found in an obvious location. TFTC
Out and about with 80 degrees and having tested our taste buds at the event we moved on to test our other senses. Having done a few in town we decided to take a drive to the outskirts. While I jumped out for the retrieve the others made did a U turn and ready to move on
Thanks for the cache KTCvic

Out for a ride on the Geo motorbike today and stopped here for a drink and to get my bearings, checked the phone to see if there were any cache's nearby and 30 meters south it said. Helmet off and a short walk and shorter search had the cache logged.

A quick ans easy drive by while we were in the area. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Found with the geokid! This one had been bugging me! I drive past it everyday & hadn't had a chance to stop and look for it until today. Lots of muggle traffic! A nice easy park & grab! TFTC
31/07/2015 Found @ 9:21 pm, Find # 4526.
Tonight I headed out with biggles1024 with a couple of tasks on the agenda, they were logging an earthcache for our road trip and completing a recently published night cache.
With our tasks completed, we were now heading to Korumburra to find a night cache that we had a dnf on but also finding caches along the way, this is one of them.
We headed over to the obvious place for the cache but it wasn't were we first looked but it was found quickly.
Thanks to KTCvic for placing this cache.

Find #2158
Tonight, Stemicmitsar and I headed out with some specific goals in mind. Finding and logging an Earth Cache and a recently published Night Cache being the two main ones. Having gathered the information we needed for a nearby Earth Cache and also having completed a night cache, we headed back to town and collected this cache along the way. No problems with traffic or muggles at this time on a Friday night a quick find was made and with the log signed, we headed off to the next one.
Thank-you to KTCvic for placing this geocache

Nice quiet deserted road, we pulled up at GZ and someone pulled up behind us to chat on their mobile. We drove down the road and came back and still chatting on the phone. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we gave up. Who would have thought? We will be back on another trip to Wonghaggi.
Day 2 of our South Gippsland holiday and caching adventures saw us (me and the 4 & 6 year old geokids) spending the afternoon caching on country roads and in small towns. This was a nice quick find and I could see the cache from the car. A quick sign and off to the next. Many thanks
TFTC. Nice easy drive by. I had to wait for a minute or two to replace the cache while a local Muggle checked his mail box. All good.
Met up with Team Crackers for 2 days, to tackle the Rail Trail and a few local caches.
Heading back to camp after a great day out, we managed to find a safe place to park.
Waited for some traffic to pass, before locating the cache. Signed and replaced.
A surprisingly busy intersection.
Many thanks for placing this cache, KTCvic, for us and others to find.

With our destination being Wonthaggi, we set out very early, partly to avoid the ugly weather predicted for the whole state; but more importantly to observe the heat being generated by the Sous vide /Weber cook-off at the Wonthaggi's 2015 New Year Event. This was our last pick up for the trip.
Thanks to KTCvic for the hunt.

It was a beautiful day to be out finding some great caches with BorisB&Natasha.
I have really enjoyed looking for the caches in this area. So many great views in every direction. This one gave us the slip for a little while as it blended in sooo well. Luckily Natasha found it after a second look.
Thanks for the cache and the views KTCvic.

Out for another fantastic day of caching with Nut bear.
We just couldn't resist stopping for this one on our way home after spending the afternoon in this beautiful countryside. We too looked in the most obvious place before I spotted the 'I can blend in with anything' cache.
Thanks KTCvic for the cache and for bringing us here.

No idea how I missed this last time I went past. A quick find on a sunny day. TFTC
Out caching today with Lisette and Jellybean on a cold, miserably wet July afternoon. A wander in circles at first but the cache was soon spotted. TFTC
Another quick find on the way home from finding Moyarra triangle. Traffic not too busy today.
One of 70 caches found today during a day / night caching run. I headed down the Bass Hwy through Woolamai and Kilkundra and onto Wonthaggi where I spent most of the day. Once it was time to move on, I grabbed some dinner for the road and headed up north through the rolling hills of Kongwak, through Korrumburra, Strzelecki and Torwood before turning west, making my way to Lang Lang and then onto home.
The weather was perfect for caching and during the day I had just one DNF. I also managed to find a couple of caches needed for my D/T requirements. There were a nice variety of caches with some challenging walks and the trusty old bike came out on a couple of occasions. Plenty of great locations and some great scenery as well. Thanks to all the CO's who placed the caches I found today.
Found this cache while heading north from Wonthaggi towards Korumburra. Nice and quiet at the X-road at this time of night and I soon had the log signed and was on my way. Thanks KTCvic.

Found at 12:53 PM GAFF1. Was hoping for a big "X" to indicate where the cache was hidden, but this was good enough . Although it took a little while to find it as I at first thought that it had fallen in [:o)].
Thanks KTCvic.
Thanks KTCvic.
On my way to Gonefishin07's Wonthaggi (pre) 2014 NEW YEAR PARTY in Wonthaggi and I couldn't let this one go by.
It was not where I suspected it to be.

11.40 am 10/11/2013 - First signing for the day (originally found with dgfb33 on 27/10/2013). I like these flying signings when the hard work of finding has already been done.
As we were driving right past this one and even though my ankle was twisted from the previous cache finding, we decided we would try again for this one on our way home. There were a group of people in the front yard of the house nearby who were cutting down and mulching a tree, but I was able to go into stealth mode and quickly found it this time.

dgfb (4) 1.15 pm (with 2 spotter [ceebee2013 & flamez]). Younger eyes on the job worked immediately. Think he wondered if we were just a but silly because the old eyes couldn't see it.

Heading home from Inverloch after a work dinner, I saw a DNF log, so thought I would call past and double check. Sure enough cache is sitting there waiting to be found!!!
Had come here previously to find this one but the moment we arrived the dog opposite started barking & we left straight away. We were back in the area for the Meet & Greet today & thought we would have another go. No dog & the find was soon made. Thanks KTCvic & it was great to meet you today.
Too cold for the locals today. Crossroads were quiet (thankfully). Out for drive to check local flooding and found some caches on the way. Poor GeoWidower lol. In good condition. TFTH
Today was our second on the Bass Coast. After overnight rain, the clouds started to lift this morning and bright blue skies were enjoyed from mid morning. This was ideal for caching. Our main focus today was to hunt for as many Rail Trail caches as we could in the day but there were some opportunities for other caches - this was one of them. Once we got near GZ, ther were limited posibilities for a hide and a quick find was made. The cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC KTCvic.
Had a few minutes up my sleeve to knock over a couple of caches. Been through this intersection hundreds of times, never knee there was one here. Tftc
Heading down to Wonthaggi for Gonefishin07's event tonight we were picking up a few caches along the way.
We safely parked on the side road and then followed the GPSr to gz where we realised that the cache page was a 100 percent correct as this is a very busy intersection. It took quite a few minutes searching between the cars before we located what should have been a nice easy find and we were able to add our name to the log.
Thanks KTCvic for the cache.

Finally decided to stop and do this cache after driving past it twice yesterday. Quick find with Which way back and lots of muggle cars driving past. When I was a kid this was a school bus stop for a few kids from the area. Thanks KTCvic for putting a cache on a road that I drive offten. SL
Early start on another great caching day. This is the kind of quick start we like. TFTC
Out with my mate Dunko on a caching milestone mission that take us to a number of great locations as we achieved our 5000 caches “Wahoo”, we extend our thanks to all the cache owners allowing us to have a great afternoon/evening of caching Cache found and logged
Slink1 and I decided to do a spot of caching to reach our 5000th milestone. Our quest took us to a number of locations during the course of the afternoon and evening. We extend our thanks to all the cache owners allowing us to have a great day of it.

Well finally found this one. Soon as how I had been copping a little flack over this one thought I had better hurry up and find it. Decided to take a detour on our way home from Leongatha, a movie, dinner with Hearse068 and family.
Stopped not to far from GZ jumped out to go find this with geo partner saying watch out for snakes and guess what? Once again I had my special safety boots on Trent which cause me a bit concern as I made my way towards GZ, it was still very warm at 11.30 pm tonight. Didn't have to worry about any muggle traffic just the neighbors cat, not sure whom got the biggest fright it or me. Anyway gingerly made my way to GZ in my special safety shoes hoping I wouldn't get any others surprises this late. Made a quick find once at GZ. SL and replaced cache. TFTC Trent

Sl thanks KTCvic for the x cache.
