Indeed it was a superb spot with a beautiful view. Thanks for bringing us to a new place we can come for a walk again at some time. TFTC.
Used to live nearby 30 years ago so this walk through the bush was a trip down memory lane - certainly is a great view from here. TFTC
Twas indeed a superb spot. Easy find at GZ with awesome views all the way to the CBD. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC scottmcblane
Cracker of a view. It really is a superb spot. Thanks for bringing me to this awesome place. TFTC!
Definitely a superb spot! Had a nice walk over from Pearly Gates just before it started to rain. Very few people around. Container is safe and dry. Remnants of summer blooms still around - flannel flowers, boronia and native fuschia. Lovely! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Lovely weather on what seems like the last day for geocaching for a bit.
Thanks for bringing us here. It was a nice little walk.

Wow what a shame the area resembles a rubbish tip
We found it but the cache was open with the log lying on the ground
Not sure of origional hiding place but put it in one near by

Found it!! After DNF'ing this one a while ago we were happy to see a number of found it logs. So whilst in the area we thought we would try our luck again. Fabulous spot. Beautiful Views. Favourite point given. TFTC

Sorry for the lack of response. I will endeavor to replace the cache this week.
As asked privately, with no response, is there any news on the replacement of this cache?
Shared account, lovely view but no find and this is the second view, hint might help others but not us, please check if its still there, thanks! (backburning made it look really cool too )
OCW the Bebes. Took a couple of minutes scratching around. I poked my head in a hole and looked down a crack/channel and could see part of the container. I directed the Bebes to the other end and we had it. Cold day today so no snakes about thankfully.! Tftc

So glad to turn my DNF into a smiley today and also pick up some unloved days.
This is a beautiful spot, even on a very grey and windy day.
Spot on coords put us in the right spot but I missed the cache on first look but PDG spotted it

Thought I’d come and avenge my DNF after work. Spent the better part of an hour looking until it was too dark to continue.
Sorry for the lack of responsiveness on my part. I will do my best to replace this later today.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

Sadly my request for a check hasn't been responded to.
This is the next step to get this back up and running.

Was in the area so came for a quick check. Checked all likely spots but nothing. Needs maintenance. Great spot
Bunch of drunk teenagers right at GZ. Very annoying, but a great view. Couldn't hunt so will have to return.
This the second time Ive been here and found it this time. The systema box was very wet inside and all the paper was soggy. The box was dried and a new piece of paper and plastic bag was added. TFTC

Weather: Warm spring afternoon

I had a "Community Day" nearby, spending the day at the House With No Steps. It finished early, so I decided to find some caches before heading home. I parked at the end of the nearby road and walked along the path to GZ. Wow, impressive view! I saw where the cache was likely to be hidden, and soon had CIH. After signing the log and replacing the container I went to admire the view from a few angles, being careful not to experience rapid de-altituding. TFTC

Out with the geokids for a walk and a cache, or two, on a great afternoon, after the rain. We enjoyed the walk and had no trouble making a find - the cache was at the mouth of its hiding place. Signed the log and returned it a little more out of sight. Thanks, scottmcblane, for placing the cache here, the site certainly lives up to it's name. Best wishes from New Zealand.
On the way to the cache I spotted a crocodile sized goanna who quickly ran up a tree. At GZ, I did a couple of loops around where I thought the cache was and checked all of the nooks and crannies but couldn;t find it. I decided that it had to be there so I had one more really good look. I lifted up some branches and found the cache! Wait - no... that's just a bong. I poked my head into another hole and had the right angle this time, and spotted the cache straight away. I can't believe I missed it!
It looks like this is a superb spot for a cache and a superb spot to dump rubbish off the cliff

#2668 (2 of 6 today) (Streak day 267)
Decided to plunder an area I haven't cached in before. Of course this means that there are quite a few caches to choose from today.
In the end I went for seven and found six. Interestingly the cache I expected not to find was all safe and sound.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Not quite a second bush walk in a row (not long enough) but still a pleasant stroll to GZ.
Once there I had 0 metres quite quickly, so looked there and saw nothing. Moved away a bit and when checking the third spot I looked back at my original position and spotted the container.
So back to my 0 metres for the find.
Completed signing duties and then took in the view.
Yep - it's a beaut!
A favourite here. And after giving out 3 faves yesterday it's been a good two days (glad I usually have around 10-12 in reserve so I don't have to award them retrospectively).

CinnamonTeacake did the job on this one! (I don't stick my hands in places like that!) Her mum did the photography!
Staying with cousin just one street away. Told her about Superb Spot and she wants to see it for herself. Has lived in the area for 17 years and didn't know about the spot. Logged this one as my 400th and have a fav for enlightening the locals. TFTC
Took a bit of searching, But found it in the end - what a spot, must be some wonderful sunsets from this spot... Thanks for the cache

Targeted Davidson for a spot of geoCaching today. This was the final find for the day and took quite a bit of effort to locate. As we were approaching GZ, I disturbed a goanna who raced off to "hide" in the shade of a nearby tree/bush. Consequently, we avoided this area as the iPhone indicated GZ a few meters away. After at least 20 minutes of searching the many possible nearby hiding spots we returned to the area previously guarded by the goanna and there it was. We did take some time to admire the great views while signing the look. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.

Great views and good hide. Some of the best flannel flowers I have seen. TFTC
Yep, superb spot and busy too.
A couple was on the nearby rocks and I wasn't quite sure if I should approach and try to search or what. They seemed unimpressed by my presence and for a moment I had visions of them pushing me off the edge as punishment for spoiling their peace, but then they left and I searched in alone.
Well not really, it was busy as other muggles kept walking along the track but I don't think they could see me.
Spotted the garden chairs securely tucked away. People must come here and enjoy the view in comfort. Then I spotted the cache, SL & rehid and returned to the geomobile and onto more caches.
TFTC & the view. Cache # 1100. Chose this spot with a memorable view for a memorable number.

shame about all the signs of human habitation. Really does spoil the view.
Cache was found higher then I thought, but found some nice garden chair in the rocks as well.

Indeed this was a superb spot, after a little scrambling and lowering of the eyes I spied the little sucker.
What a great view. Couple of muggle nearby. But seem to be enjoying each other so managed to get the goodies easily. Thanks for showing us this spot. Cheers
Nice quick find on a great sunday outing. Log book pages are pulling out though. SLTNLN TFTC
Excellent views from this site to the city and chatswood skylines, and some very interesting rock formations! Liked the mini hunt inside the cache itself for the log book (which revealed itself eventually ;p). Picked up the resident travel bug to move along (note: CrazyKC's 11-11-11 bug is missing). Replaced cache in its hiding hole, and covered with a pile of banksia men (as the only way we were able to find the cache was poking a stick in through the deep layers of natural camo - presumably washed in by the recent rains - which made it nearly impossible to find, which we doubt was the hiders intent). TFTC, this gets a favourite point from me
Brilliant day out with SSSonya .... what an absolutely fantastic location for a cache. Think Sonya has said it all. We struggled at first because cache was under a lot of leaf litter ... perhaps also distracted by the great views. Thanks for bringing us here ..... cache contents were amusing for me being from the star wars 70's era. TFTC ..... weldone
Log book has gone, the cache notice is being signed at the moment.
Please supply a new log book.

Returned to drop off a few bugs that have been hanging around for ages.
Being so close to home I may end up here a lot.

No maintenance required. The log book is there - just has to be searched for.
That was a tricky 1! We've been here for ages says Jack pirate (aged 4) and that's the end of our story for today.
Thanks for the cache... Couldn't find log book so signed paper.

Noticed this one had recently come back on line, following our DNF a few months ago, so we stopped by today after a shopping trip to Forestway shops.
Parked the geomobile in Macfarlane Street and walked down the track to GZ, where there are some interesting rock formations and glorious views toward the city skyline. A quick search of the most obvious hidey holes soon had CIH. A stark contrast to our previous visit where we searched for nearly an hour without success, not realizing that the cache had been muggled. We eventually located & signed the log book. TNLN.
Thanks scottmcblane for the nice location and freshly replaced cache.
