Een lastige, maar mijn maatje vond hem nog redelijk snel.
Logrolletje was kletsnat papiermache geworden.
Thanks from a Dutch

Het rondje langs het strand afgemaakt om deze te spotten. Het duurde even, voordat hij zich liet zien. Het logrolletje is kleddernat, dus graag een nieuwe. Voor nu een los velletje toegevoegd.

Log need replacement, soaking wet. Been here before not knowing of this cache.
Took Helen, Greg and Michael- their first cache! Found it with a little help from the voice over in the camp ground telling us were hunting in the right tree! Log wet but still a thrill when they found it. TFTC
Out and about with my friend Lis's crew to find some caches. We knew we were in the right place when a voice said "Have you found it yet?" Couldn't sign log as it was too wet, took a photo instead. TFTC.
We couldn't decide between the two likely hiding spots so hunted in both places. A passer by told us we were hunting in the right place but he didn't know exactly where it was. Not easy to be subtle here. Cache log was very wet and we couldn't write on it. Took a photo as proof that we were here instead. TFTC
Just a hop step and jump away from the caravan. quickly found then off for a walk....
Once I read the description out to Mr CD and he followed it, it was a very quick find after a lot of searching in other places!! TFTC
By coincidence, we parked our car right beside the GZ, but unfortunately, despite a good look, no cache was found.
We were at Mangawahi for a dog agility event and thought we'd get some caching in too. This was one of our finds and a quick one for GAR. Walked the dogs along the shore from here. Looks like it must get super busy in the summer, looking at all the camping places. Thanks for the cache Riser5.
Early morning find just on sunrise, which itself was pretty spectacular. TFTC Riser5, #8055
Up north for my birthday weekend and popped over from Langs to Mangawhai to fill some time before any new caches in the area might be published ;0)
Super quick find here once I'd out-waited the muggles. Is a phoenix bison a large buffalo-like creature that rises from the ashes? That would be quite a sight! Thanks Riser5!

Vistra and I decided to spend the day grabbing some caches in Mangawhai and getting some on route up north.
Vistra already had this one and he dropped me off and turned the car around, was still looking when he came back and he pointed it out, we were hungry by this time and needed food. TFTC

Not the best light this evening for finding this, initially I started in the wrong area, then moved to the wrong tree, then back again, but by following the instructions and taking time to look it was tracked down and soon retrieved. Cool different style hide. I always love coming to visit Mangawhai and today was no exception. Beautiful spot and a nice relaxed day with a few caches to find as well. T F T C
plenty of room left on the log and all nice and dry.

Placed back in the correct spot while other cachers have let the cache creep around the corner. Please replace it back as close to the hint as possible please.
On a roll today... funrun, surf & cache! missed this one before so thought better not miss another opportunity since driving right by & with the cache owner present for backup. I'm gonna blame the "silver" and cache creepage for my former blindness- haha TFTC
The silver piece has lost its lustre and is now a bit rusty, however after a good search we managed to locate - an excellent hide. In town for the Manghawai Walking weekend.
Camping out so tried my luck before tomorrows tri turns the area to muggle city, but no uck with this one....
Had a huge look in the cut offs for either silver or black but came up empty handed
The Lostcouse Family is spending the weekend up here. Took the oportunity to collect a quick cache. Followe'd the instructions on the cache page and after some poking and prodding the goods were at hand. Cheers for the cache placement!
thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today between Warkworth and Mangawhai Heads ... you gave us a fantastic day! TFTC and greetings from Belgium.
Merlot58 is staying with us up here so we headed out to do a few local caches. Found this pretty quickly although we were a bit distracted by the description at first. My hubbie who was accompanying us and has never done this before went straight to it! We'll have to take him along more often TFTC
I was up here staying with Ellex2 and her hubby so we decided to do a couple of the local caches. Her hubby volunteered to be our geo driver, and wandered along to help with this one. I was busy standing back looking for the 'something silver' when he went straight to the right place and pulled out something black! His first cache and another smiley face on the map for me.
We hoped this would be an easy find to make up for not being able to find "Lost me canteen looking for Moa" and to end an otherwise successful caching excursion but lucked out again
Clue seemed clear and detailed but we could not see the little bit of silver.

Visited yesterday, but was unable to find. Was going to log this, but decided to return today and give it another go. So glad I did, as it was a quick find in the rain. Can not explain why we could not find it, but so happy to sign the log today. Thanks for this tricky hide.
OK, I admit it, I phoned a friend on this one! Scout'n'about assured me that it's exactly as the description says, and sure enough there it was! TFTC
A cool hide after the excitement of just having watched a pod of dolphins in the estuary. TFTC
Today we headed from Mangawhai Heads to Kaiwaka finding caches along the way. We enjoyed our drive around the lush green countryside.
Todays trip was with a new geocacher TuiMarie.
Thanks for placing this cache Riser5
I was up North today to do the Mangawhai Coastal walkway trail and decided to leave super early and head to Mangawhai via Waipu and pick up a few caches along the way. I stopped for this cache on the way to meet some other cachers at Mangawhai Heads, I made a lucky quick find here as I approached from the right angle. TFTC!
winding up the day of strolling and knocking off local caches with Lochnessmonsta and Mr Vistra... ( who got this earlier in the day so sat chuckling in his car while Lochy didnt quite see it for all the clues.... this could of been so much nastier.....
Just finished up another good day with Alligatorsnz and Vistra. this one took me a while..the other friendly cachers finding this rather funny...come on get it together!! then oh yeah..there it is lol
Nice hiding place! Though the silver isn't silver anymore - well and truly rusted....Thx
Out on a challenge mission and picking up other caches along the way. Been a while since we came through here. Nice hide. We had to look very carefully, but got the aha moment before too long. Nice spot here. SL. TFTC.
What a scenic place is this. Unfortuneatly, we could not locate this one. No silver bit either.Five of us had a really good look, could not find, so went and got a feed of cockles. Yum, not a total waste.
Travelled throughout the North with crispyhaugio and we managed to geocache around. TFTC.
nice quick find while heading to the beach. Beautiful place to enjoy a stroll.
When I pulled up to GZ the namesake of the cache made sense. A couple of people about but still managed the grab without being seen.
