Smallwombat saved the day again. Thank God for gaiters he reckons. Thank God he came I say! Anyway another cache with our names in. Tftc
Yeah ok that is a pretty cool view. Long grass deterred the others, with gaiters on i just ploughed over and in the second go made the find. Thanks for hiding a cache here with a beautiful view ayepeacee! Find number 5424
Ahhhhh, there you are!!!In super long grass thankful for an obvious path to follow. Had to try a different angle of view to see this one.Water has started to impact this log.Still able to sign.TFTC!
Another quick and easy find on my Australia day geoadventure. Had a massive group of road cyclists moving through, then a massive convoy of motorcycles, then both! I checked the wrong post first and found an old bike chain before I found the cache well tucked away. Thanks ayepeacee!
Geohubby WallabyTim and I have travelled this road many times on voyages between Toowoomba and the coast and other sightseeing trips. Finally stopped today to make the find. Stunning views! TFTC
Find 39 of 40 on a full day of caching, driving down from Maleny on the old road into Landsborough, then getting the bikes out for a 30km ride around Landsborough and down to Beerwah and back, then driving back up via Peachester picking off as many caches as we could on the way. An excellent day out with some brilliantly constructed caches to enjoy.
Took a minute to unearth, the grass is back!
TFTC ayepeacee!

ayepeacee I found your cache Ginger beard Man's Gate on 3/7/2022, 3:00 pm. This is my find 3682 and find # 8 today. Grass has recently been mowed. Therefore a quick and easy drive by. Great views. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out putting the new geomobile through its paces today. Going to blast some dirt roads and tackle some nice twisty roads too.
A quick check in the very long grass before committing to driving in it. No view today with the cloud cover lower than GZ.

A full Friday of caching with PirateLinda, Giraffe18 and abeck58 has seen us hit the Sundhine Coast Hinterland… we had to bypass a cache down the road due to roadworks, so this was our first stop on Bald Knob Road… with supervision from PirateLinda and Giraffe18, abeck58 and I set about retrieving the cache… abeck58 once again came up trumps…
Having not been found for awhile the “log” was pretty much non-existent so we added a new log in a snap lock bag… tftc…

This one that one which one. I gave instructions from the car while Peppa and abeck58 did the searching. Giraffe offered useful advice which had the cache in abeck58's hand. What a team we make
Enjoying the view while watching the boys search in the long grass and they found it quite quickly.
Out with PirateLinda and Peppa and abeck58

Maleny is such a beautiful place, can only recommend it!
Thanks a lot for the cache and all the best from Switzerland

A gorgeous spring morning was spent driving around the hinterland roads between Beerwah, Landsborough, Peachester and Maleny exploring areas we hadn't visited before.
The parking was precarious but the view was stunning, and an easy find was made.

Found it TFTC. Log was dripping wet, mouldy and unreadable. Replaced with spare paper.
While camping in Landsborough for a few days with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out and try finding a few caches in this area.
Log is a soggy mess ..

Heading home from Maleny I was able to park straight in front, followed the bread crumbs and found a cache . Signed the cache and replaced as found. Tftc
The containers here was broken but Nyssaflutterby had a spare so replaced it. The log sheet was blank but possibly had been wet and washed away the previous finders markings.
Quite a nice view here and a collection of different coloured barb wire on the fence.

Caching the Peachester area today with NyssaFlutterby and Wombles&Co, and we pulled up here for Wombles and I to grab this one, as Nyssa had already claimed it. Couldn't find the original cache, but did find the plastic yoghurt tub the previous finders had thrown down with paper in - rain must've got in the crack in the bottom of it as their name had smudged out.
After we had looked for a while, Nyssa exited the geovehicle to join us, wondering why we hadn't found it. When she confirmed where it should've been and wasn't, she decided to use one of the preforms she had with her to do some cache maintenance on behalf of the CO.
Thanks for the cache ayepeacee and brightskies.

The Gingerbread Man must have been in Maleny getting supplies on the day we went to see him.
I am on my way home from Maleny after a couple of days work.
I have a bit of time for a search for this cache, unfortunately I did not find it.
Another day then.

It could've been because it was dark. Maybe because we were cold. Possibly because we'd just come from a DNF, so our spirits were low. Whatever the excuse - we failed . We will try again soon and persistence will prevail!
This cache was found whilst participating in the Cycle Queensland 2016 Adventure Tour.
Nobody, apart from a few car drivers and many cyclists, was seen here. The cache was easily located. Nice views.

Left home at 0530 and heading towards the Sunshine Coast for the day. Started pre dawn and found this one in the early morning light. Did not take long to find at all. I love driving through this area. Very good views evenin the dawn light. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small and micro logs to save space on the paper as I write big. TFTC jfindit
Stopped and forgot what we actually came to do for a moment as we gazed out over the landscape. Then glanced in the right direction and had the cache in hand. TFTC ayepeace
One of our favourite roads on motorbikes .... but today by car. So we stopped and searched .... and got a smilie. tftc
I was out and about hunting some forgotten caches today and thought that I might stop in and grab this cache whilst in the area.
I remember visiting this cache when I very first started Geocaching and it must have been very early into the game as I must not have DNF'ed it...
After finding a safe place to park, I quickly made my way over to GZ. After checking a few of the obvious places, I soon had the cache in hand.
After being detracted by the view and the parade of Bikies that went past, I added my name to the list of others before I and placed everything back home as found.
Thanks for the cache ayepeacee and brightskies.

On the way to Montville and thought we'd check out some on the way. Parking right in front of it. Found it!!!
Unfortunately there was no view for us today.
When we arrived here it was raining and the cloud cover was very low.
On a good note we did find the cache.

Such a beautiful view and small stop off on our journey. I got a little confused at location as I thought I'd looked there but checked again and there it was, nice and new looking. TFTC
The hard part for this cache was being able to get the car safely off the road. We parked somewhat precariously and put the hazard lights on. Once at GZ we made a quick find as a large group of motorbikes rode past. TNLNSL TFTC
Stunning view from gz. We looked and looked in the same spot for about 10 minutes then all of a sudden geomum had cahe in hand. TFTC TNLNSL ☺

Saturday. Both Slow Punctures were returning from their relaxing night away from everything at Montville. Well, not everything! Caches to be picked up if they fall in our path...
This is a great scenic location. We had a bit of a search and then Kerry found the sneaky sucker!
This was the 2nd of 4 caches found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]ayepeacee[/Blue], for showing us this place.

Next on the road was this little cache...another I haven't been able to get with little people in the car. I was tired and called Casow11ry for a pointer...I didn't really feel like a thorough search (yes I know how terrible that sounds)....all I got was 'yes you are in the right spot. Yes that is the type of container. NO, I'm not telling you where! Go back and look again'
So I did, a little more carefully and I found it.

Back in our most favourite part of the world, we spent Day 12 of our holiday visiting some special places… And of course finding few caches along the way
We loved revisiting this road & checking out the view from this spot… No ginger bearded men where spotted today, but we did find the sneaky cache

This cache was a suggested must-do by NeverLostAU.
He'd already found this cahce, so he watched while I hunted.
Thankfully, the geotrail and sunlight helped me locate this cache quickly.

This was my second attempted at this one. The first attempt was thwarted by a farmer on a tractor who would not budge as I think he thought I look to suspicious well this time there was no one about so it was a quick park and grab. Lovely spot here . The log book is nearly full. Only space for one more name. TFTC.
TFTC. No gingerbread in sight but he was probably eaten by the big Brahmn bull that was guarding the gate.
Made a special trip to visit Peachester and take a trip down memory lane via Bald Knob Rd. Hadnt been here for at least 30yrs when I was a young grommit living nearby. The road was only dirt back then and a very bumpy ride on the pushy to get to the school bus. I dont ever remember the countryside and views being this spectacular....amazing to think I took all this for granted as a young grommit. A very beautiful place indeed. TFTC!
Camped at Landsborough to spend a few days, sightseeing and caching.
Awesome views here, well worth the drive.
Cache was found quickly, but container was a little difficult to open and close.
Many thanks for placing this cache, ayepeacee, for us and others to find.

We left the Dunethan Rocks scout camp today and made our way to the Landsborough scout camp. Managed to get the last available spot for the caravan and after a brief rest we headed out to explore the surrounding area and find a few caches. Nice one [^][^]. Fav point alloc for the great view. Thanks to ayepeacee.
#439 ~ This was a great location. I thought I loved the view from the last cache but this little picture window of a gate was marvelous for getting some pics of the mountains. A great spot. A favourite from me. TFTC ayepeacee

Definitely a great view! Had a chat at the gate with the ginger bearded old man whilst admiring said view . TFTC ayepeacee Alls good with this cache
Obvious after you've found it! The problem is you stand around looking for a Ginger-beard man.
Beautiful view, took us a few minutes to find the cache - not too sure where the ginger beard man comes into it though? Perhaps its because we are old Poms that we didn't understand. TFTC
