Cache 3 today that we bypassed due to being unavailable.
With 6 DNFs and no finds in 5 months it is likely that this one is in trouble. When a cache has regular finds then none, it is usually a bad sign.

No luck here for us either. Another one due for a CO check after a long list of DNF.

Not sure if this is still there or not. Geo daughter and I searched up and down for 20 minutes for this one but no joy!
Read and re-read the clue but still no go.
Read and re-read the clue but still no go.
Not sure if it was supposed to be sitting out in the open like I found it. Have given it a little shelter.
Out on a run while the missus watches the tennis and aiming for my 300th for year end.
I think the CO should check this out. It is not at the height indicated unless you are 3m tall. Suspect cache creep.

We started looking in the wrong area but again the geokid came to the rescue and discovered that it was empty.
Thanks Julz76.

Well, tried a little to hard and could not find it. Had another look on way back to car and kicked at the ground with a little frustration and what do you know, found the sucker...
On the way home from work, a couple of quick caches before orienteering this evening.
Got a buzz out of this cache, quick find and onto the next.

Nice quick find. I noticed that my caching buddies, Biggles Bear, had been here earlier in the day. Thanks for the cache.
A note to the CO ...
I feel the hide may have been compromised - Whilst driving past Yesterday I noticed Two workman working right on top of GZ .... They have installed steel railings near GZ .
Perhaps the CO could check in on it's status.

ABL973 found this while out caching with Square_Pegs. I brought a few travel bugs with me which will visit this cache. The weather has been much better than I expected, although it has been quite cool. Thanks to for placing this cache.
This was our first cache of the trail as we completed this section on foot. It was off to a nice start. Thanks for the cache.
I jumped on the bike and headed down this section of the PLT to find the three cache along here. Two of the caches were nice and quick finds while the last proved a lot more difficult.
Found after a short search and thanks for the hide.

Find # 2790
Date 27th Apr 2013
Time 8:36 AM
After a quick decision between myself and my caching partner in crime, SedgwickDave, it was decided we would throw the bikes on the back of the car and head for the newly created Peninsula Link Trail as well as a number of other caches in the area including another cache crossed off our D / T matrix, AKA "Project81". Dave picked me up at 7AM and we were on the trail by just after 8AM.
This was a nice quick one, no muggles about and luckily it was not empty, there was a logbook and maybe even a pen!!
Thanks to cathylmorgan & Julz76 for the cache. TNLN.

What better then to do a power trail on a long weekend! Today's weather looked ideal but there was a mention of windy conditions in the afternoon which was a killer on the ride back to the car. Joining me today was my caching wingman and mate Ahomburg who was also keen for some numbers too. We started at the north end of the trail, parking close to PLT - Wee One but failed to final the northerest one and well after 20mintues decided to head south see if our luck would improve. Four hours later we had completed all the caches even the 3 newer placed ones just past Frankston Flinders road. Looks like this trail will expand even further south as other sections are open up. It was a great morning and only took about 1 hour to get back to the card pushing hard against the 40km/h head wind.[xx(] Great hides of different styles seen today which was great too. Many Thanks to Cathylmorgan & Julz76 for the huge effort in establishing this epic series. Awesome!

TFTC, found pretty easily with spud53. Left a little miss scary so it's not quite so empty anymore...
M's caching senses must be getting tired as he totally missed this one opting for the far to obvious. I on the other hand went straight to the hide and made a very easy find. This make fifteen finds for our trek today. TNLNSL TFTC KeMS
By the time I'd puffed and panted my way to GZ here, s already had the stash in hand so we signed the log at 14:05 and continued our journey south.
Hmmm, I could have used some of that energy too .
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Cathylmorgan & Julz76.

Find #3 of a joint ssmc4 & EuDes bike-riding caching adventure along the PLT (which during the day brought up my 1500th find milestone).
This cache helped provide some "energy" - which unfortunately we were going to need on the next part of this so-called bike trail.
Thanks cathylmorgan & Julz76.

Yeah we were sorry too and we were also sorry the good cement trail had finished and then for the next 4 hours we toiled over soft sand, roads, up and down dale, across creeks (After 2 days of rain) etc to find our goals. TFTC ladies.
Found @ 11:11am, find # 2025
Sent from out on a good Friday cache hunt along the PLT hopefully finding lots of great cache hides.
I dont think I had even stopped my bike and I had hold of this one.

Out on a caching run with Iain of The Swaggies. Iain and Steve had this one in hand before I'd even got off my bike. SL TFTC
Found on another TDC night run, we did the series on bike, certainly was a good ride. Thanks for the cache.
The Demolition Crew (TDC) met up for another legendary day/night caching run, this time focusing on the PLT (Peninsula Link Trail) in the Melbourne SE area. Bikes were deployed for this, and are becoming a big feature of our caching, which is fantastic. A great variety of hides were found, and some good numbers for the night, as well as some other caches around the area besides the PLT ones. My thanks to the cache owners for their efforts in placing the caches.
Enjoyed the trail and varitey of caches very much. Quick find here. TFTC.

A quick find here after parking nearby, and were on to the next one.
Run Summary
----------------------
We've been looking at PLT series for a while now, and decided to take a ride to pick them up tonight. The new link is a great asset and speeds up access to the Mornington Peninsula. The Demolition Crew have used it extensively in the late early hours of the morning to return home. At this time it has no cars on it. That's the way we like it
So once again we are down here collecting caches and having a great ride. Thanks to the CO for all there efforts.

Back again with Pea bear to pick up the last 3 caches in this great series. However I'm sure there will be more to come. This one was quickly found in the first place we looked. TFTC
Found with BorisB&Natasha on another caching adventure. After a reasonably short search the cache was spotted. TFTC

A perfect day to pedal on the PLT - and what a fabulous trail it is!
We had a supply, so it didn't matter that it was empty.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Julz76.

Awesome - this turned out to be a mini adventure. I entered the trail from the North side forgetting that the trail was blocked off- instead of walking all around and back down again; I took the short cut .... up & over towards the nicely placed hide - I anticipated the hide would be on another structure BUT the spot on coords soon fixed that issue.
Thx again to the CO's
