Found rocks, no cache. Looking at the photos this cache is no longer there unfortunatley.
Appropriate hide for the location, broke my pencil trying to get the log out, but still got it signed.
Found a couple of crouching catchers which made the find easy.
Much easier than last time when I couldn't find it at all.
Nice to meet you d0cmar and NicSug02

Found all the stuff mentioned but no cache. There were some muggles with mug dogs so we beat the shit out if them.
Found GZ... and the rocks... found the indent of where it would have been but it appeared to not be there...
Sad!
Sad!
You guys have the best cache containers, all different & entertaining. Lovely arvo walk with geodoggies. TFTC SL
I had done a lot of the PLT caches on two days in the last week, and with such fantastic weather, I couldn't resist completing the series today. This was my second cache and another quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Found after Saturday shopping session at Karingal hud, we parked right along side 'PLT - off the track'. The wife stayed in the car and I jumped out for a quick find an got permission from the wife and off I trotted for this cache. I will return with the geobike to get the others in the series. This was an easy find, the hint and GPS leading me straight to it. Seeing an empty log I thought 'No, I can't have an FTF here', so I checked C.Geo to confirm my suspision. Nice cache. Took me longer to get the log back inside. TFTC.
New log placed in the cache. Due to the nature of the cache I am unable to make it waterproof so the log is one of the ones that can be written on when wet
# 3760. Robmc and I headed down this way to make the most of the winter sunshine and lovely day to do some of the PLT. We parked at this end so we could head north and return with a tail wind (hopefully).
We arrived at this one and we were not quite on the money with what we found here (but close). Log was absolutely saturated so we dragged it out and attempted to dry the inside and put a new log inside. Don't know how dry it will stay. TFTC

It looked like the best day of the week, so we got the deadly treadlies out, and headed down to the Peninsula Link Trail. Bettyboo3747 and I joined many other bike riders (and walkers) using this trail today.
Seeing there was supposed to be a northerly wind we started on the southern end so we would have a tail wind coming home. Of course the wind turned as we were coming back!
We were guessing golf T here, but it was not to be. We had been checking out the HUGE fences along the road (must be really crummy players to need a fence that big!)
A familiar looking contain, but as other have said, cactus log.
We removed the log, dried the container and replaced it with a new log. It is good to go.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found it... Couldn't sign log as its really wet... Awesome idea for a cache with the surroundings!
Found a long time ago, forgot to pull finds off the garmin.
Sorry for the late log!
Had a needs mait log on the garmin for this one too, but obviously no point posting it now so far down the track! Sopping wet, could barely sign the log.

The log in this cache is very very wet and cannot be unrolled.
Following cachers will have a great deal of trouble signing it.
Looking at the location, a waterproof one may be a better idea.

Out for a short walk in the sun this afternoon trying to shake a cold I've had for a week now, a cache will cheer me up.
Quick find today although some days may require a wedge. Managed to sign the outside of a very very wet log.

Another nice quick find on what was a fairly windy day. The log was stuck here and my normal geocaching kit was of no good. Luckily I had a first aid kit and was able to use something from that.
Hey hey it's Krazy K on the PLT
Me and the wifey & kids are taking a walk
Ha ha this one suits me to a T
It's my 400th find
I Thank You !!!!!

Found as part of a short walk along the trail with 4y/o Geo-son. Found the cache, but had forgotten one of the all important tools of caching so I was unable to retrieve and sign the log. Will email the CO with details of what I found. I hope that is good enough to keep the smiley!
This is my favourite cache so far I have golf running in my vains loved it TFTC SL
ABL973 found this while out caching with Square_Pegs. I brought a few travel bugs with me which will visit this cache. The weather has been much better than I expected, although it has been quite cool. Thanks to for placing this cache.
How fitting, an excellent themed contained. Those nets are so high! Thanks for the cache.
Funny how these types of hides can be really obvious to a cacher, but not to a regular person. TFTC

Date 27th Apr 2013
Time 9:17 AM
After a quick decision between myself and my caching partner in crime, SedgwickDave, it was decided we would throw the bikes on the back of the car and head for the newly created Peninsula Link Trail as well as a number of other caches in the area including another cache crossed off our D / T matrix, AKA "Project81". Dave picked me up at 7AM and we were on the trail by just after 8AM.
Antoher nice easy one, with not too many hide options here.
Thanks to cathylmorgan & Julz76 for the cache.

What better then to do a power trail on a long weekend! Today's weather looked ideal but there was a mention of windy conditions in the afternoon which was a killer on the ride back to the car. Joining me today was my caching wingman and mate Ahomburg who was also keen for some numbers too. We started at the north end of the trail, parking close to PLT - Wee One but failed to final the northerest one and well after 20mintues decided to head south see if our luck would improve. Four hours later we had completed all the caches even the 3 newer placed ones just past Frankston Flinders road. Looks like this trail will expand even further south as other sections are open up. It was a great morning and only took about 1 hour to get back to the card pushing hard against the 40km/h head wind.[xx(] Great hides of different styles seen today which was great too. Many Thanks to Cathylmorgan & Julz76 for the huge effort in establishing this epic series. Awesome!

As we rode up to GZ, M was already there, holding something in his hand. This kid is unbelievable, no GPSr, just his caching senses lead him to this cache. With our tenth log signed, I watch M replace the cache. To be honest I think my caching senses would have honed in on this one. TNLNSL TFTC KeMS
After doing a maintenance run on some of the PLT caches, this one has been rehidden and ready to be found again
11:16HrsWell this was First of two 'DNF's we had for the day.
Well after much searching & a PAF call this one appers to MIA so we had to DNF it & we were going so well till now..
Well after much searching & a PAF call this one appers to MIA so we had to DNF it & we were going so well till now..
The co-ords looked good and the hint was straightforward but no cache was discovered.
I took my two boys out today for a bike ride along the PLT and to find a few caches along a section I hadn't been to yet. We parked in a service road opposite the hub then rode along to pick up a couple of caches; both found and logged. The boys had a great time, especially coming back down the big hill, we had to do that a couple of times. The PLT has been great fun to do and thanks for the hides.
Someone or something has been scratching around here. Got sprung by a muggle who wondered if I was taking readings with a Geiger counter. I replied that I was looking for points on a map but didn't have the pleasure of finding THE point I was looking for.
On the trail with Biggles1024 collecting another cache in our travels. TFTC ladies.
Found with lochb - the hiding spot was immediately obvious (lucky favourable GPS reading for a change perhaps) where a novel and entirely appropriate cache hide was uncovered, logged and rehidden.
Sorry to see scody's DNF - am hoping it's still all well and good (I don't recall any muggles around at the time we found it who should have seen us... :-\ )

Found on another TDC night run, we did the series on bike, certainly was a good ride. Thanks for the cache.
The Demolition Crew (TDC) met up for another legendary day/night caching run, this time focusing on the PLT (Peninsula Link Trail) in the Melbourne SE area. Bikes were deployed for this, and are becoming a big feature of our caching, which is fantastic. A great variety of hides were found, and some good numbers for the night, as well as some other caches around the area besides the PLT ones. My thanks to the cache owners for their efforts in placing the caches.
Enjoyed the trail and varitey of caches very much. Very quick even though there could have been lots of places to search. TFTC.

There being not a lot of spots this one could be, the obvious lead us to it straight away. We didn't even get off the bikes.
Run Summary
----------------------
We've been looking at PLT series for a while now, and decided to take a ride to pick them up tonight. The new link is a great asset and speeds up access to the Mornington Peninsula. The Demolition Crew have used it extensively in the late early hours of the morning to return home. At this time it has no cars on it. That's the way we like it
So once again we are down here collecting caches and having a great ride. Thanks to the CO for all there efforts.

A perfect day to pedal on the PLT - and what a fabulous trail it is!
We couldn't help but wonder about the cost of the massive structure designed to keep a few wayward golf balls in.
NOTE TO CO:- Access to this cache from the south may no longer be available - see our note for "PLT - Off the track".
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Julz76.

Found with BorisB&Natasha on a quick run to pick up the newly published caches along the trail. Glad there was no muggle golfers practising their swing here today. Nice quick find and on to the next. TFTC
Back again with Pea bear to pick up a few more of the great PLT series. We would have walked straight past this one on the day it was published, only it hadn't been published yet. Was in the middle of logging the ones beyond this when the notification came through. Oh well, a good excuse to come back again. Cache easily found in the first place we looked. TFTC
Hot night - could not sleep - decided to go for a walk and pick up a few caches. TFTC SL
what else do you do on a hot night, thats it walk and cache, enjoyed the walk and cache TFTC SL

I decided to have a go at the newly published PLT series - just after 11am this morning and to my surprise almost 12 hrs after publication I managed another PLT FTF! Unbelievable.
Thx again to the CO's for the Brilliant work with cache placement of the PLT - each and every one of them are unique and I'm having a ball chasing them.
Lok'n fwd to the next instalment.
