Working my way through the NRL series today. This was #2 in the order we chose. Lovely day for a walk and debut exploration of Narrabundah hill. Thanks Sol de lune . --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their long lasting, and ongoing connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to Traditional Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
I saw the nearby NRL series and decided to spend the morning walking around this area collected as many caches as I could. I ended up doing the nrl series backwards, but I found all the caches I set out to find. Overall a very successful morning!! Tftc
Good to turn a past frown upside-down with this smiley now its reinstated and we are rambling around Narrabundah Hill again today. The Broncos were my NRL team for 20 years before my family caught the AFL bug. I still have an 80s jersey from my youth tucked away as a memento. I enjoyed all of these caches on Narrabundah Hill thinking of various NRL moments in my life so a fav point for the memories old and new!TFTC Sol de Lune!
Oh we went to see the broncos in Brisbane last year.
Trivia question: what’s the difference between broncos and brumbies?
The answer is very cool
Ps: also the broncos released a horse to go around the field every time they score a TRY
So cool

Out and about on a Sunday arvo with Baristayan, who brought me here after scoping it out herself the day before. The plan was to try and clean out all the NRL teams, and anything else we could find along the way.
It all started so well until a massive dump of rain settled in and washed us off the hill. We shall be back tho, sensational views up here and all caches were in terrific order.
Logging this cache after attending the Raiders v Broncos game last night. Gee whiz there was some ordinary refereeing in that game, but in fairness the Raiders were their own worst enemy. We’ll always have Taps’s hit late on against Reece Walsh at least.
Thanks for the cache!

#4156 After chatting to the CO last night at an event and briefly discussing this series I was made aware that maintenance had been done.
So back out this afternoon for a quick find this time once at GZ.
Thanks Sol de lune for placing and maintaining these caches.

TFTC. We weren't planning on caching today so nice that this one included a pen
Decided on a cache hunt after work. Found all the NRL teams, however there is one missing. Poor Newcastle.
A great day so decided on a maintenance run on the entire series. Cache was cleaned out, replaced the log, bag, pen and and it looks like new again.
Hopefully it will last another 8 years or so. Cache on....

Upon finding cache I emptied the bugs out, signed the very damp log and replaced. Definitely needs some maintenance soon. Tftc!

Now this was the thrid and final walk with Wilma and Hoppy in the area to compete the NRL series. This time we had quite nice winter weather sun was out. We started at the northern end and made a loop from there. Thanks for the Whole series SDL!

Great team who will do well when it all gets going .
All the cruise deals could prove cheaper next year when it all starts again .
Picture attached of probably how you are feeling at present
Thanks to Sol de lune for the NRL highlight !

It was a hard run up the hill only to log a DNF before flying back down the hill to this cache. I'm madly rushing around trying to finish off the Mystery at the Museum event which ends in 5 or so minutes. Thankfully this was a quick find for my ninth putting me at 34/35. Only 1 more cache to go! The Broncos have managed to get into the finals this year so we'll see if they can make it through. TFTC
Found on Saturday afternoon.
I was originally planning to go caching along the Murrumbidgee today, it my GPS wasn't, so I had to come up with a new walk somewhere in phone coverage area. Never wandered on this hill, so it was an excellent opportunity.

Staying with some friends in Rivett do couldn’t resist doing this power trail. All caches were easily found due to accurate coordinates and helpful hints
