On our way home from a market at lardner Park stopped & it was quickly in our hands Thanks for this one
With dot558 after visiting friends in drouin,Little apprehensive walking past lock gatesBut soon had it in our sites
Quick & easy find - I have driven past a few times and haven't had the opportunity to pull over - ironically today I did even though I had a horse float attached
Suscoe was heading home today after a delightful and sunny week on Phillip Island. The weather had turned a little today with cloudy skies and light rain every now and again. We love the countryside near Western Port Bay with rolling hills, flat lands and the ever growing urban areas to the north. So many happy cows, green paddocks and asparagus poking through the ground. Thanks to trickytracey for this hide.
I was out finishing the AUSLAN series today and managed to pick up this nicely hidden cache .. thanks trickytracey for placing the cache and sharing the story of this place.
I was out at Pakenham today at my cousins place so had a little bit of spare time so decided to start on this series of nicely located caches just off the highway.
I parked out the front and then realised where I needed to go. A nice quick find once at GZ. All in good order here.
Thanks trickytracey for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to trickytracey for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Many a local dances would have been at this hall, a lap around soon put us at GZ.

After doing some car servicing, I needed to take the car for a good run and was looking at my map for a cache that would fit the bill. Specifically I where I could stop and leave the car running. This one seemed to fit the bill and the description did remind me of the old hall I used to frequent for the same purpose.
Nice quick find of the cache and was able to get back to the running car with no problems. Just a few farm machinery and a giant bulldozer drove past my car.
Thanks for the cache Tricky Tracey
Hunter
PS. Grabbed the TB

Was hoping to pick up our first trackable but unfortunately someone must have better is to it today.
This was a last minute quick pit stop on the way home after completing a few of the Auslan caches nearby. Travel bug with strict instructions left behind.
This poor old hall looks very dilapidated. I hope someone gives it some TLC soon. At GZ the cache was found with a minimum of fuss. Great spot for a cache.
Out with xambo4u and BoabTree we returned today to complete the Auslan puzzle series and other caches in the Garfield area.
Memories are great, but this hall looks sad now. Easy find, thanks trickytracey.

Out with and about withy echidna44 and Boab Tree completing the Auslan series and other on our way. Can imagine this be a big part of your childhood but must be a little sad to see it now. Nice easy find, Cache in good condition. Thanks for the cache trickytracey
Found this one today on my way home; I’ve been wanting to get this smiley face for a while now - and done! Thank you for the cache!
Took the back way home. Never noticed this building before. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the hunt.
Getting ready to travel this area again geospouse GrahamT was looking for caches we may not have found. What he did find was I had not logged this one from 16/10/2016!!! Here I am with possible one of the longest fails to log ever!! TrudyJane

Closing in on my 14,000th find! We found this one whilst completing the AUSLAN geoart nearby. Luckily the weeds have been sprayed - made this one easier than it seems it has been in the past. Thanks for the cache trickytracey!

Second try and found it! Grass has been recently cut so was easier this time round.
Nice and quick drive with my partner for fresh air that I was home for 5 straight days. Brought my hand sanitizer with me . Easy to find. Thanks trickytracey for placing this cache
Well just found my first think I'm hooked and less than a km from home guess I'll find some more tftc
After traipsing around in the ling wet grass I soon had treasure in hand, awesome little spit but very busy road, found with Cached Up Mummy Jules on holidays from cairns. Tyftc
Being aware of the slithering friends with the long grass, doing a balancing act on some rocks, I soon had this one in hand. . Tftc
Hall still 'closed for refurbishment " and it was a hot sunny day so although we jumped the fence.. I didn't stick around too long to look as the grass needs a mow and I tend to attract serpents so jumped back over the fence with the intention to return when the risks of snakes are lower.
Oh, boy have these logs been on the back burner……… with the combination of a long hiatus and my phone with all my saved cache data of the ones I had yet to log being supposedly lost. With my eng/comp sci friend who managed to mess around with the phone and recover the data….. hooray time to celebrate. So that's why these logs are so late…. either thanks for the cache and the adventure….. and sorry for the generic log.

I had a rare weekday morning free and so managed to get out and about nice and early and head south east to try a few caches. I had planned a final zig zag of caches to get me back towards civilisation and this was the next one on the list. A rather sad looking building but I can appreciate the memories it would have from the events here. I carried on foot through the grass seemingly getting wetter with every cache. I made hard work of this one, looking in a few incorrect areas before final seeing the straight forward hide. My eleventh find in total for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache trickytracey.

These halls were the centre of so many communities around rural Australia when we were young.
It is good that you have placed a geocache here to remember days gone by.
A quick jump and the cache was found in an obvious spot. An interesting structure.
Thank you.

Nice drive on some country roads today.
Jumped the fence like so many before me, found the cache quickly but felt a bit conspicuous when leaving.
Thanks trickytracey

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Found this one on the way through on my motorbike today. Looks like the hall is up for refurbishment and the gate was locked closed but the fence isn't much of a challenge in fact the long VERY WET grass was more of a problem. A quick search in obvious place and the cache was soon signed and returned then I was on my way.

Have been around this corner on a few occasions and never noticed the hall.
The gate was locked so jumped the fence. Coords were good and the cache found quickly. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks

Heading down to Lardner Park for the Agricultural show. Using the roads less travelled brings us to many a place just like this. If only these buildings could talk, the stories they could tell. With the area deserted today the search was quick and easy. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKamS
A quick little find in a cute spot. Thanks for bringing us here and teaching us some history. Cache is in good condition.

Quick find. I hope they keep this local icon as it appears they have plans. Another hide I ride past on the motorbike that now has a smiley.

Today we explored Mondella and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.

Was a quick and easy find. Unusual stand, not one that we have ever seen before. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
TFTC! Easy geowife found, whilst driving around the country side looking for somewhere to go for dinner!!
A hall you always passed on the way somewhere, but never stopped at.
A walk around through the recently slashed grass, so had the cache in hand.
Thanks trickytracey for this placement.

having decided there was no way I was returning to Mornington via Berwick Dandenong etc cut across from the Princess Freeway at the new intersection north of Longwarry and on to this one. Found with Trudyjane.
Find #1194. This was the last of the caches we needed to find in this area. Having avoided it I our first attempt due ti having to climb the fence we decided to brave it today to knock it off the list. Thanks Trickytracey for the cache.
Great night out with geokids getting a few caches, this one was the last for the night as the two geokids have both fallen asleep in the back seat. So I sent Mr Geo over to get this one while I waited in the car. Was a quick find for him. He was back to the car in a flash. TFTC
Out for a Sunday drive and ended up here. Thank goodness I was small enough to squeeze through the rails
