no luck here today. if i had my gumboots, maybe could of searched some more, but it looks very swept down there.
JennyFromTheFarm and I were out caching today after the rain yesterday, with a little predicted for today but nowhere near as much. This is an area I have never really visited as a long way from my home. After parking nearby to take one car on our journey this was our next cache to try find for the day.Not sure, but we couldn't find this one. We looked low and low for 20 mins or so and then decided to move on.
I'm out and about today finding a few caches in the area while there's a lull in the rain. There was a fair amount of water rushing down this little creek but enough rocks to stand on while I hunted for this one so that my shoes didn't get too wet. This is a beautiful spot I wouldn't have known about it it wasn't for geocaching, thanks. Thanks for find #6250TNLN
#72 Another cache with spiderwebs galore to dip and dodge. Wasnt pretty surprised to see this one from the other side of the bridge. Didnt realise it was a cache container at first. But traveled to the other side and got it! Water had a lovely orange hue too
Beautiful day for a walk. Found it at last. My 3rd attempt. No pen to write in the log but I'll be back TFTC
Had to demolish a lot of spider homes for this one, appreciated the deviousness matching that of your bond villains, matched up perfectly
Replaced the log as found, TFTC

Nice quick find while in the area to spy on a friends yacht for them as they where a bit worried that it recent storms over previous months might have caused some damage while they are in North Queensland. Tftc tnln
Well I've never seen a Bond film but I know they are about being evil and devious, just like I had to be to find this cache.
I parked the geomobile near the park actually very close to GZ. When I looked at the GPS I was surprised and dismayed as being as its school hols of course there was a group of kid muggles using the area near GZ. Hmm, could I get the cache?
I watched them for a couple of minutes from the geomobile, like Bond watching his enemies. I decided they were well and truly absorbed in digging up the soil in the park and piling it up to make bike jumps, which I am sure they are not supposed to do but I had my attention focused elsewhere.
I followed the hint and soon with the help of a torch managed to spy the cache, retrieve it, sign the log and replace it without getting my feet wet in the water gushing by after last nights storms and heavy rain. You know this part of Sydney received the largest amount of rain anywhere in the city overnight.

Really cool cache! Love the fact we were the first to write on the new log !!
Rolling into the night time sun almost gone hearing the trickle of the water being a beautiful landing place and finding it with my GeoBuddies Coggibird
Log needs replacing really badly compleatly soaked nearly impossible to sign but other than that TFTC
2 nd time here looked for an half an hour still no luck even with an extended time period and my mum
Plenty of spiders lost their homes to us, cache on hand not long after. TFTC
I can't remember the last time I cached in the Shire with any real purpose. Today there was so much to choose from and under beautiful clear skies, Mizmaz and I tackled a few specific caches so I could complete various challenges.
Lots of spiders webs for us too and one that dangled into my ear causing a eary feeling
Thanks to all the CO's for your hide.

Brushing away the webs of caching-lockdown, eagerly accepted invite and company for a day out in the Shire. Mr Rat had some specific targets in mind for a challenge he was completing, some of which ended up helping my own progress, while others, especially those with quick finds or requiring teamwork, provided bonus smileys along the way. Clue narrowed down the search though passing puppy gave us a funny look and growl.
OCW MissMorty and Morty8888. We sent Missmorty in for this one as we had a dnf on a previous visit. TFTC
Perfect weather for GCing. OCW Oldmorty and Missmorty and with one of us with a DNF, we soon had Missmorty acting as the troll taking on the cobwebs for a quick retrieval, sign and replace. TFTC!
Out with phlphotos and JJCC in our hunt to find 35 geocaches in order to Return the stolen jewels for the final souvenir in the current Mystery at the Museum souvenir offering. After parking nearby we walked the short distance to GZ and surprisingly made a very quick find at GZ. After using a TOTT we soon had the cache in hand and signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache goldfinger777.

Out on a caching trip down to the shire with teamMerlin and JJCC. Made sure our passports were in order and our shots were up to date. Checked to make sure we had no fruit to declare apart from peach flavoured Coke and off we headed. This was the second one we stopped at. Found a TOTT near GZ to help in the retrieval of the cache
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache goldfinger777

Eldest geokid and I passing by this arvo after finding a few high-D mystery caches in the area during a planespotting break at YSSY from the central coast. A very foggy day today which was unfortunate for the planespotting, but it made the geocaching all that more mysterious. TFTC, goldfinger777. For what it's worth, Vesper Lynd has to be my fave bond girl of all time, with Miranda Frost being a close second #justsayin.

Heading to Kogarah Oval for Sydney FC’s AFC match tonight.
So thought I’d grab a cache or two first. Problem is that I have nothing viable close.
So decided to keep heading south to this one.
As I arrived at GZ a dog and his muggle came from the oval towards me. We exchanged greetings, then I started the search.
Even though I spotted it quickly, it’s in a surprisingly tricky spot.
Made the grab, completed signing duties, then headed back to the match.

An easy cache after work.
My second attempt at a cache today. At first one i pulled up next to the park it was in only to have a muggle changing a tire about 20m from the GZ.
With a lot of parking nearby and no muggles in sight this one turned out to be a good alternative.
A careful search of the GZ soon turned up the cache.
Thanks.

The cache is up and running again. Sorry for the delay. A very big thank you to wazza9 for his assistance.
Hello,
I am currently oversea and will see if a Geo friend can conduct maintenance for me

Nothing here to find as mentioned before. This is a new bridge and with the height of the debris from the recent rain, anything underneath would have well and truly been swept away.
A quick rummage around using the hint as a guide and quickly found the cache. Tftc
Don't know where this one is. Poked among the rocks and spiders webs but no luck today.
1st found on a day of geocaching with chippy and lexi. So many spiderwebs and yucky dark deep holes which freak me out. Good work chippy for climbing under there. Thanks for the cache!!
I have no idea how I missed this one the last time I was here......yes, the iPhone jumped around a bit but it was more likely a malfunction of the geo senses !
Today I had no such trouble and made a quick find
Collected TB

I was out and about in the area and found myself close to this cache so decided to take a look. Parked the car nearby and then it was just a short walk across towards gz. Soon I spotted the likely hiding area. The hint was very helpful but even still it proved a tricky search as there were numerous hiding places. Then a muggle walked by, I realised my pen wasn't working, and I received a phone call all at once before I could get back to the car. Agh. TFTH
Arrived at the rather lovely park and seemed to have the place to myself.
I assumed the position under the hint item but after a good poke around I left empty handed.
This one might need a CO check

Cache blindness and fear of falling into the fast flowing creek probably inhibited my finding abilities today. Spent plenty of time investigating the area from all angles, but came up with nothing today.
20/12/16. 12:58 PM. Cache #4607.
2nd of 4 finds this afternoon - Yowie Bay, Miranda, Sylvania Waters
Getting a trio of Bond villains and a new cache while I'm down here. Took me a while to find "XENIAONATOPP2013" before coming here; wondering if this would be any quicker. I searched in accordance with the hint; it seemed like the co-ords were about 8m out. After no luck at first, I re-emerged and tried to get to 0m along the creek, but it was just near tree roots.
I wondered if the hint related to the previous location or the current, but seeing as the last move had been 96 metres and the current location suited the hint, I was reassured that it *must* be up to date. Back under and after being a bit more thorough, I made the find. I'd say the co-ords were spot on and my variation was more likely to be from the tree cover. Signed the log and replaced.
9 months unloved credit for me. This one and XENIA are Yowie Bay's only 2 caches, so the suburb now cleared for me. Miranda has many more caches, but I only had one left unfound - "ERNSTBLOFELD2014" - so I headed there next. TFTC.

Can't do an NM log (probably because it's already disabled), but it's been a while since March. Any update?
Muggles had found and thrown everything around, collected items and returned to spot.
The whole area is closed for bush regeneration and I didn't want to join the other cachers who seem to have no problem ignoring the signs.
If the cache is actually within the closed area as my GPS seemed to indicate, the CO might consider temporarily disabling the cache until the area is open again.
Of course, if the cache is accessible from outside the area, no action needed and my fault for not looking harder.
Thanks for bringing me to this area. Yowie Bay looks a great area and one I would not otherwise have found.

As previous finder has said this area is at the moment unwelcoming. Signs and tape up, tracks closed, lots of branches and leaf litter around, piled up.
Took at while as GPS did not like all the tree cover today, but tracked down this cache to rescue the coin to help on its way in case of any work that may happen in this area of the cache.

Took a bit of searching because, as others have said, the area is difficult to navigate and got a few scratches for my trouble but happy to have found it
There are signs up everywhere saying that the area is closed for bush regeneration. In my opinion, the whole area is overgrown and wasn't very pleasant. Regardless, I could see a likely hiding spot and made a quick grab. We've had a trackable for a while that wasn't going to fulfil its goal so I've popped it in this cache. TFTC
Pretty much a drive by here.
Easy find but certainly not where I would have hidden it.
