After getting some FTF's yesterday Gwawr still had the caching bug so we went for a wander through Homestead Ridge picking up a few we had not got. Thanks for the cache OOH YEH

TaurusSix and I were up in the Rockingham and Mandurah areas today running errands . However there is always time for geocaching as well. We honed in on a couple of Adventure Labs in the area and while collecting those we picked up a couple of traditional geocaches as well .
This was the first of them in a beautiful suburban bush setting. There were a couple of muggle joggers around so we needed to avoid those . It was raining lightly but that did not stop the birds from being in full song which added to the experience . At gz a short look around soon had cache in hand. Thanks for the cache OOH YEH .

Out with the youngest Canpmellow and the geo princesses, even with younger eyes, this is a DNF
I looked high I looked low but I couldn’t find the object where my squiggle should go
No luck on this one today! Found what we thought was the obvious hidey hole but nothing to be found today! Will have to try another time.
What a difference a day makes. A sunny day today compared to yesterday’s drenching in the rain.
After trying to work out the nearby multi, I come up here found the cache and then retreated to the car to listen to a recording. It was a bit scratchy and in discussion with the CO it was next on my list.

Good sized cache out in the woods. The light was fading fast here so time to call it a day. Thanks OOH YEH for the fun caches and their maintenance. Had a great time hunting smileys today
Of course I only found the track on the way out but that is what makes Geocaching fun.
A nice walk to this one on a cool night, lots of small creatures bounded out of the way as we walked up and got a quick find once at GZ.
Thanks OOH YEH for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 2277 for me.

Out with Kapelula today in the aim of cleaning our map of Kwinana up. This was a nice quick walk with a easily found cache at the end. Just the way we like it. Thanks for placing for our enjoyment .
Day 365 of our 366 day straight challenge. With only one more day to go, I think it's safe to start cleaning up the map close to home. Out today with 3 of the geokids to get some smilies in Wellard.
Easy find here once at GZ. Miss 5 enjoyed signing the log again and this time she had to add a little drawing TFTC!

After the GPS went nuts, some looking though previous logs helped us make the find.
Out for an afternoon run, decided that rather than run around in a random circle I'll I'll use geocaches to determine my path.
A nice little spot for a cache, don't have to worry about muggles either

Headed out today to clear more of the local areas. Despite the rain on and off it was a Pleasent day out side with minimal niggles to get in the way of the finds. TFTH TFTC
Found during my morning walk with my brother's pup whom I've been dogsitting over the last few weeks. She didn't really know what to think with all this roaming around in the bush, but I think she liked it!
Found this cache quickly in a nice little hidey spot. Picked up a pathtag which made my day!!
I've lived in the area for a while but only just realised this little band of bush was here. It was a lovely walk and I'm very thankful to OOH_YEH for placing this cache to get me out here. Sadly I didn't have time to grab them all, so hopefully I will be back soon! Cheers and TFTC.

With my Jarrahdale playground options still delayed due to the Total Fire Ban I decided to venture into OOH YEH territory for todays cache hunt. With 12 caches loaded with the aim of 10 (2 spares incase of muggles and DNFs) the Geo dogs Bobble and Zotti we set off.
This was our seventh stop for the day. After parking in a quiet cul-de-sac we went for a lovely walk in this quiet park, after only a few meters you were reminded of what Wellard used to be like, and its lovely to see these pockets of bush remain. Cache was easily found not far from the path and can't believe this peace of tranquility has yet to earn a fav point, so best fix that by awarding it one.

Found it finally. GPS had me chasing my tail. In the end should have trusted my instincts
Thanks for the find. We didn't find the blue smiggle travel bug someone must of beat us to it.
Found. Nice walk. Thanks for the find. Sorry we didn't find the blue smuggle TB.
TFTC! Out in the wellard area to cleanup a massive bunch of caches that have been published around here. Thanks
It was a nice walk in Wellard and quickly found this cache with axell33 and geodog. Tyftc

Our second attempt after gps having a tantrum yesterday - thought we would give another try today on our way home - the gps was right on track today. The kidlets were excited to find a nice sized cache. TFTc
Made a quick detour of the path to follow another well worn path and made the find. TFTC.
We had a spare hour and decided to head to this area to grab some smiley faces . A nice variety of container which were not too far from our chosen parking spots. Spot on coordinates too .

On an after-dentist-visit caching run while in the area. After a bad start with long fruitless searches, it finished up with nice quick finds for the rest of the afternoon.
Dusk was beginning to creep in as I made my way to this one. Thankfully the cache was quickly spotted to allow another find or two before knocking off for the day.
Thanks for the cache OOH YEH.

Another day of dragging muggle partner north so I can do some caching [^]. All adding up and getting me closer to my 1000th find though not quite there yet .
Dragged partner to come for a walk too as I don't like walking in bush alone without being able to contact him if something goes wrong (due to tripping myself up and slithery creatures on warm days )and I forgot to get the handheld uhf out of the car.
My gps took a while to settle and took me for a longer walk than necessary but once settled cache was quickly found.
I dropped off Tractor TB to continue on it's family race
Find 25/34 for todays effort and 6 dnf (tho some may be missing or suffering from major cache creep )

After completing the 8 that we had left in the Jandakot Regional Park,
we then moved onto Medina to find a few more.
A good variety of cache hides, and we enjoyed the day.
Many thanks for the cache, OOH YEH.

Went to find this cache with Mum & my little brother...I found this one with some help from Mum TFTC OOH YEH!
Headed out this morning with two sick kids in tow hoping to do a few caches... This ended up being the only one as I ended up having to take the kids home! It was very hot today but of course we rocked up wearing thongs as usual, but our loud stomping paid off & no snakes were sighted today DangerMouse09 was quickly onto this one's lair after I had to lift him over all the prickly bushes growing around GZ
TFTC OOH YEH Lovely spot as is all the estate surrounding this area!

Last cache of the day, the kids are getting restless now, and so far its just been nanos so i promised them a good sized cache.
Justin ran ahead with Luna maya's GPS while i carried my tired little heffalump along the nice path.
A quick find was made, the log signed and cache returned. Thanks for the cache ooh yeah, the area is looking so pretty with all the flowers and kangaroo paws popping up.

Mr & Mrs FelixII out together today on our geobikes to complete the bottom end of fhis series. Beautiful weather today just perfect for tackling caches by bike, not too hot, not too cold, with a gentle breeze.
After completing 10kms of the Periodic table it was off to HJ's before tackling some other caches to complete a loop trail back to our car. 54 smilies in all for us today.
Cycled our way into this one. Didn't take too long for us to track the cache down. Shame we never had the opportunity to find your first cache here.
Looking forward to meeting lots of cachers at WA goes BIG in 2013 - GC45X55

I had planned to do some caching this afternoon, but hadn't decided where to go. So, after meeting the CO on my Manning Bushland Trail today and having a chat about Wellard caches, I decided to head down this way to grab a few.
This was the second find of the afternoon after clearing a DNF at TROLL ... quick find here when my GPSr brought my attention to the correct object. Enjoyed the walk, can see that it would be nice in Spring. SL. TNLN. TFTH OOH YEH

While our geo-hubby's were on the hunt for the caches along the freeway cycle path, Mrs iluvtrekking and I did some caching of our own. Enjoyed the walk once we realised we should stay on the concrete path towards gz.
[:(!] Went for an afternoon caching run with the geowife, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand within minutes.
TNLNSL TFTC/TFTH Ooh Yeh.

In hindsight I didn't park in the best spot but walk was pleasant. Sometimes so much easier on a treadly than in a car. TFTC.
I'll take any length walk for a regular cache. Thanks for another great hide OOH YEH.
[:o)] I have been away for a week, this morning the Bride told me that if I came shopping with her this morning I could go a do a little caching this afternoon, reasonable deal I thought. So I decided to clear some of the caches that have recently popped up in the Kwinana/Bertram/Wellard area,
[8] [8] Another quickish find in a park I did not know existed. A nice walk in along the path, I am glad I guessed that it was the right way in. Took the two TB;s that were resting here [:o)]
Thanks OOH YEH for the cache . [^]
