Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.

Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).

If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE CHECK REQUIRED???** ###

----------

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. The cache owner would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needed to be done.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)

The cache is being temporarily disabled so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache and take whatever action is necessary.

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

The family wanted to stay in the cool of the house so I decided to take the bike out to the Epping area as I don't really get North too often.

The heat was not really a problem but there was a wicked Northerly that made some legs of the ride a bit more challenging than should be.

I managed to make quick work of this find...ingenious. TFTC.

Found t after a few minutes of hunting! Lots of foot traffic made it a little hard at times, but once we had a chance to look we found it! Thanks!

I got up early to beat the heat and find a few caches before retreating back to the aircon.
It was nice and quiet here in the morning and after doing a few laps and checking lots of spots I eventually spotted the well hidden cache.
I had the appropriate tool to extract the cache and soon had the log signed.
Thanks Blacklegend TFTC.

Last stop on a quick trip out Epping way before we needed to head back. Was initially a bit stuck here before I decided to think outside the box so to speak and quickly spotted the hide. Thanks for the cache Black Legend.

Found it! Out on a drive-by, easy to reach caching day with OzHockeyChick and Boatietim. A simple little drive by but we could not sign the original log as it was soggy black pulp. Luckily we were able to add a few dry sheets and make our mark but due to a missing Oring they might not last either...TFTC...Smile

11:10, 11 Nov 2017, #498, Out caching with OzHockeyChick and Mark&Kelly for todays caching adventures in this area.

A quick find but the log sheet was nothing but black pulp... we placed a new temp log sheet but with the O'Ring missing on the container there is no guess as to how long this sheet will also last. CO needs to come and do some maintenance. TFTC.

Soon found the container but log is soaked.

Had some time to fill late this afternoon whilst in the area, so this was the first of 4 finds added to the tally. We were unable to sign the small log inside the cache, as it is saturated, so we hope the attached picture will prove we 'had it in hand!' Clearly may need some maintenance. Oh, and we waved to your Mum. Wasn't sure which house, so we waved at all we passed! Thanks for the cache Smile

13-Aug-17
Cache log is saturated, making it impossible to sign. We noted the little waterproof "O" ring that comes with these type of nano's is missing..although log not moist but very wet. Needs some attention. Cheers.

17-Jul-17
Today I had two hours to fill in while my mother was at a medical appointment in Bundoora so it was a good opportunity to find some caches.
As I approached GZ the bus arrived and picked up all the people who were waiting at the stop. I hoped that this would make my search easier but as it turned out the cache was in the first place that I looked.
Thank you Blacklegend for this cache and filling in my time.

12-Jul-17
On the bus so I decided to hop off and get this one. Many thanks but rain has got in and it is one wet log, but the gel pen worked fine.

I had been doing e-learning all day for a scuba diving open water course I am doing tomorrow, and I was getting a little restless, so I decided to go for a bit of a walk after dinner to burn of some steam. We targeted a few caches close to home that we hadn't gotten around to yet.

This one took us a while! We were looking in all the wrong places - and moving on plenty of the local spider population. Frustrated, the geosidekick pored through old logs while I searched all the places we'd already looked. As we were about to leave, I came up with a slightly different plan of attack, and made trhe find. Nice hide, kept us guessing. TFTC

Another day, another cache, now 103 consecutive days with a find. This one was a quick stop and grab. Nice hide in a spot we didn't expect it to be. We were first looking in the wrong spot. Cache in good order.

Thanks for the cache.

I am taking a week off to go on a caching holiday. My plans for the second day was to find all the caches within Mt Dissapointment bushland. Though I had a late start after finding a D5T5 and thus didn't finish until after dark.
During the trip I saw quite a few wallibies, a couple of horses, a head on car crash (no one was hurt at least), I heard a few deer honking, and other than caches I found a hiking pole and a fellow cacher's personal log stamp.
After leaving the area I had to find some more caches on the way South in order to reach the 270 finds in a day milestone which I just managed!
After all that my car needs a good wash!

Thanks for all the caches!Cool

Seem to be in the Epping zone a bit these days so a good chance to check out the caches. Had my eye on this one for some time so on the way home I parked in a nearby park and headed for GZ. A quick search eliminated some obvious options but finally located the container with the aid of a nearby twig at 14:35. TFTC

After a very busy first semester at uni, I was ready to enjoy my break with some big caching trips, after getting my Ps not too long ago. Today I was on a mission to get clues for the two Melbourne-Canberra multis due to an upcoming trip to Canberra I would be making in a few weeks time. To do this, I made my way to the northern suburbs. After picking up the necessary info in Epping, I made my way to Woodlands where I *nearly* cleared out the park on my second run through. Only one more visit will be required now! I then finished off the day finding some caches that have been on my to-do list for too long now. This was the 1st find of 25 for today.

A nice easy find to start the day after collecting some clues for the Canberra multi nearby. Thankfully no muggles to disturb me.

Thanks Blacklegend!

14-Dec-15
Had a good look in both bus stops, but couldn't find it.
Tips: Be careful when looking for it, lot of spiders and spider webs in both bus stops.

29-Nov-15
It seems that every time I come down this street to pick up this cache there is someone at one of these bus stops. So today as we drove past I noticed the coast was clear so got out and started a search..... until someone came from around the corner and sat down across the road. Damn. So later on after enjoying the festivities at the Epping CFA open day we headed back past, and with no one around finally made the find. Thanks for the cache Blacklegend.

25-Sep-15

Suscoe's 17th find of today as we explored this area of Melbourne.
We have not ventured this way before and so we enjoyed seeing the countryside and the amazing development that has taken place throughout the area.
A short search and the cache was located not where we started but it was where we finished.

The log was quiet a little ball of mush today so we inserted a temporary log and removed the mess.

Thanks to Blacklegend for placing this cache here..

16-Apr-15
Managed a park not far from the gz and after looking in some obvious spots came up empty handed, rechecked the hint and tried a new tack and quickly spotted the cache. Log is quite tatty and needs replacing asap. Thanks Blacklegend for the cache.
