### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by R0gue and to take it off the playing board to prevent further inconvenience to our Geocaching Community.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer
Got the latest adlab for the lab and the bonus cache. Tired to obtain this yellow smiley but no luck. The photo from CO not matching the location but the checker is correct. I am confused.......
Enjoying a lap around the lake on this brisk winter's morning and doing an ad lab as well as tackling some caches along the way. Unfortunately no success here but I did enjoy working out this clever puzzle.
A cache that has sat for a while in my solved pile and tonight was high on the list to hunt for.In the end it took two passes to finally get the find. Our first attempt we were looking in the right places but just not deep enough. While we were walking to other caches I read some previous logs and we headed back with renewed enthusiasm and got through the years worth of muck and eventually got the container in hand. As we set out for our weekly caching adventure, I C Nothing and I learned that our third companion was unavailable due to injury. We decided to head towards Innaloo and Wembley, aiming to complete a couple of lake walks to collect caches for the evening. Our trip up the freeway included a quick detour into Applecross to collect a new offering on the map before making our way north of the river. We enjoyed the cool and clear night air and by the time we turned for home, I had managed to collect 10 finds, 10 adventure labs, and 1 DNF. Thanks go to R0gue for placing and maintaining the Mystery cache imag*ne for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 22:18 on 21/5/2024.This is find number 8936 for me.
Out for another Tuesday night caching session with Cirrus_wa . Tonight we found your cache after a search and our second attempt. All in good condition but the cache photo in the last log is not of this cache.. Signed ICNothing
Took the opportunity this morning to walk Lake Monger and claim a few smileys. Unfortunately no luck here. Will monitor the logs and return another day.
Down at Lake Monger with @jamesknowlson for a walk/ rollerblade with the great views.Sadly we couldnt find this one but had a good search. Thanks anyways!
I revisited this cache after collecting the remaining yellow smileys around Herdsman Lake. The sun is bright and there is no excessive leaves but I cannot find the cache. Will try once the found is logged. TFTC.
TFTC. Extra hint from previous log but still cannot find. Will try at another season.
I noticed that this cache hadn't been found for over a year and the last log was a DNF so I wasn't too sure. Luckily we found it after a bit of help from some previous logs. Fun puzzle and cache.
P.S. The cache doesn't seem to be a regular size anymore.

Quick find here, after a substantial time on my map. Cheers R0gue!

Found it. TFTC ROgue. Had the finals for this for many moons and only just had the chance to do the search. It will get deeper over time, if not found. Replaced as found.
Surely someone come down and help me find. Couldn’t figure out the puzzle so now I’m using the pictures to help me
Found moments before giving up!

Mr. X was attending a birthday party in the area and Daddy LAXA had some spare time to find some long solved North of the river puzzles.
All caches where found in good condition without to much trouble

ROgue we found your cache this morning but Patch solved this one so long ago it was certainly not before time we headed this way. Nice wee idea for a Mystery. All's in great shape and its guardians are certainly keen to protect it with their mandibles.
Solved the puzzle at work earlier in the week and have been chomping at the bit to grab the smiley since. Cache in good order although was exposed so covered it a little, thanks
An interesting day out caching with B12 from north to south and a Cito inbetween for the first day of the Cito season and clean up Australia Day!
Thanks to all the local CO’s for placement and maintenance.
Looking forward to see you all down in Albany for WA Goes Big during the WA day long weekend 2020.

Only managed to solve this one thanks to a hint in one of the logs and finally had a chance to log it as the area always seems to be busy. Tftc
Out and about today and I decided to check the map to see what was nearby.
I find myself with time to kill so I stopped by here for a find.
Have had this sitting in my solved pile for a while now so managed to grab a find finally today.
Many thanks to R0gue for placing and maintaining imag*ne. I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

Nice puzzle and we managed a quick find in a busy area.
A beautiful cool morning and after a couple of days that were too hot for caching we decided to head out early to grab some caches.
TFTC R0gue this is find # 8640 for us.

MorningStar87 had lunch in the city so I decided to be her chauffeur and drop her off and pick her up. In the couple of hours she was there I managed to cleanup a few solved puzzles and a traditional.
Thanks to the COs for a bit of fun.

We had an early morning start in Fremantle on a fresh morning so took the opportunity to collect some smilies on the way home, we moved around Freo before Freo even woke up before heading up north, happy to say we came up trumps and went home with a smilie TFTC
Solved the puzzle pretty easily a few months ago but finally got around to checking out the cache today. A fantastic location but unfortunately the cache is covered in broken glass and some ants have tried to make a nest on it.
When I worked on the puzzle I didn't imagine what a nice spot the cache was hidden at. Found early this morning. Thanks R0gue.
Nice little puzzle and good find at go. Not quite as big as I had imagined. Tftc
TFTC Rogue i have had this solved for 12 months and decided today to pull in to the nearby carpark on my way home from the event today and go and grab the cache. A short walk with a very easy find the only problem was the 200 spiders in webs and 300 mosquitos all over the cache. Got there in the end. Thanks
We tried a few things but all didn’t work out. But The-Shredder finally had the right idea. TFTC Skyryser
Solved this one easily once I had the right idea. Today Skyryser and I cleared some caches in the area and were able to collect this one. Must have past it a dozen times already. Tftc The-Shredder
Solved by geomum- and we were planning to come here to do other caches today by chance - karma in action TFTC
Thankyou - took a while to work this one out. And then the penny dropped - so straight forward.
Thank you! Haven't been caching at all this year, so thought I'd head out for a walk for exercise and hides. I was also determined to give this one another go. After solved it ages ago, and dnf'ing it once, I really wanted to cross it off my list. With two finders since my DNF, I used the meagre clues in their logs to narrow the search. And when I finally found the cache in a spot I knew I looked before (but obviously didn't poke hard enough), I was tempted to say many bad words out loud. Definitely happy to have the fun puzzle done and dusted. And I suppose on the bright side my original dnf meant I got to take another walk around this lovely spot.
Having solved the puzzle, you can choose your reward....either get run over by cyclists or eaten alive by ants. A bit buried after over a year with no finds. Waterlogged but log dry in its double sealed bag. Have a fave for exercising both mind & body. TFTC
Solved this a while back. Searched at GZ for quite a while but found nothing. Sat nearby to recheck my calculations but ended up at the same spot. I guess I'll try another time.
Had a look at this a week or so ago and first tried the basic alpha-numeric substitution. When that didn't work looked back through the logs and was to figure out the theme but was still unable to solve. Later was having a chat with my Mum (an aficionado) when I had the Aha! moment and then had the coords shortly thereafter.
Fast forward to today when I am in the area and remembered the cache. Got to GZ without trouble but at first glance didn't see anything promising. Decided to have a scratch around whereby I discovered both the cache and an ants nest. Fought them off and retrieved the cache and signed the log.
Cache is in reasonable shape despite the long time between finds, the ants and the fact nature was thinking about encasing it in root tendrils.
Thanks for an enjoyable cache R0gue.

Enjoyed solving this one - having a look at the given coords assisted us. This evening was perfect for a stroll to gz. With a great view of the setting sunlight.

I was in a boring meeting this afternoon, thought I could use my time better to solve some nearby mysteries. I'd looked at this before and once I realised it was not a simple alpha-numeric conversion, I put it aside. I decided to give it another go today, so played about with a few different ideas but nothing seemed to fit. Ended up PAF (well, texting a friend, as I WAS in a meeting!). Fortunately a quick response from said friend, I was put on the right track and voila the geo-checker shone green. The final was a little out of my way, but hey - I needed a walk after sitting on my behind for two hours. A quick find at GZ in between power-walking muggles, and lo and behold, a path tag within that was from the friend who gave me the hint! TFTC
Had solved this with m4yb ages ago, after she had done a bus and walk tour and was not with them when they made this find of the final. I called today "My recovery walk" as I had been given permission form the doctor that I should start to get some gentle exercise, so a few caches in the vicinity and I think it was what the Dr ordered.
Lovely walk to GZ and a nice peaceful day, thanks for this puzzle and hide R0ogue.

It was a lucky fluke which helped me solve this puzzle, a while ago. So today, it was the last find at the end of a successful day of cache-clearing with dimor.

Whilst riding home at stupid o'clock I decided to stop in and try again. No muggles around, just hundreds of spiders. Luckliy I had sussed out the likley spot during my last hunt so found the cache very quickly. Log signed and back to my late night pedal. TFTC.
While my cycling companions created a diversion by pretending to check for punctures, I hopped off and stealthily hid (and then found) this cache. Thanks for a great puzzle, R0gue!
Thanks very much to olthomas for putting a replacement container in place for me! Happy hunting puzzlers
It sounds like this one has gone for an unauthorized wander, and I'll do my best to get the box replaced as soon as possible.
This one ticks almost all the boxes. I loved the puzzle as it was one I could do in a spare 10 minutes while I waited for Cyclemania round the corner on Charles to open. The design is unique in my experience and lulls you into thinking there is an obvious solution then makes you work around the edges until you have a lightbulb moment. The GZ was even on my route home, give or take. After picking up bike supplies I made my way to GZ but despite a thorough search I came away empty handed - well, except for quite a lot of spiders, webs and other unidentifiable insect life. Looking at the size of the cache and the calibre of the previous searchers I have to assume it's gone.
This one took a while. I tried engineering then reverse engineering it. Nope. Then read a log that made me think. After a quick visit I had my answer. Worked the numbers and got the green tick.
Arrived at GZ and poked and proded and found a likely spot but no cache. Guess I will check back another time.

This puzzle I had solved with a little head scratching... Thought I was on the right track a couple of times but of course it wasn't going to be that simple Eventually I cottoned on to the idea & was surprised I didn't click earlier!!! Today whilst out with DangerMouse09 for a bike ride we stopped by to look for this cache, but unfortunately I could not locate it today I searched the obvious spot to no avail & the surrounding bushes on both sides of the path but after searching for a while decided to move on as DM09 was getting very restless!
Thanks for the puzzle Rogue I shall be back for another look next time I am in the area!

Got close today but maggies started swooping and sent me back to the car, arms waving! Will enter from a different angle next time!!
Finally got to this one...had to admit I POF on a clue for figuring it out ...I was close but not close enough! Thanks for cache.
# 6081. Day 3 of our caching foray around Perth that resulted in 28 finds and 3 DNF's. Robmc and I headed out through peak hour traffic and turned north. Our aim was to walk around Herdsman Lake and also to pick up some other nearby caches. It was a long walk - for someone who dislikes walking - and took us over 4 hours. We did enjoy seeing so much diverse birdlife around the waterways today.

We haven't collected many of the puzzles we solved in preparation for this trip. This was the first one for the day and a nice little walk along this lake. Several cyclists hurrying past on their way to work and of course the usual doggie walkers. Located GZ quite easily and added our names. Left: Agate TB to continue its journey.
Thanks R0gue

A short trip north to do a walk around Herdsman Lake with BettyBoo3747. No deadly treadlies today, so it was down to shanks ponies!
Grabbed a few other local mysteries while we were in the area.
This was our first cache for the day. Thought we would do the short walk by this lake as a sort of warm up for the Herdsman Lake walk
Some fantastic spider webs in the nearby bushes.
As for the puzzle, did I tell you I think the person who invented that game should have been strangled at birth?
Thanks, Robmc.

Back up north of the river again today. This was one we visited early in the day. Had a bit of help with solving this one, but loved the idea. Thanks ROgue
Whoo hoo. Another Perth puzzle solved. Robmc was having trouble with this one and handed it over and bingo solved in a couple of minutes. I do like that!!! We hope to put a smilie on this in April.
All this time under my nose! I run around this area regularly and thought I had cleaned up all caches in the area until I plugged in the co-ordinates and lo and behold there was Imag*ne.

This was a freebie courtesy of thanatos123, he did the work, I just tagged along!
Finally got around to finding this one after solving a very nicely done puzzle a week or so after it was published. Had me fooled for a while before I got a 'light bulb' moment.
Luckily this afternoon was dark and stormy so a usually busy area was pretty quiet, perfect for a spot of caching. TFTC.

I spent and hour or so on this puzzle a couple of months ago trying different number sequences and combinations but didn't get any where. Yesterday I happened to pass the marked coordinates on my morning run and had a look at the puzzle again and had that Eureka moment. Everthing fell into place and I made a quick find this morning just before sunrise before the muggle traffic got too heavy.

I've had the puzzle solved and co-ordinaries plugged into my GPS for weeks now but finally made it to the cache today. Cache was still well hidden and co-ordinates were right on the mark. Took nothing, unless you count letting a little cockroach escape! Thanks for the puzzle and cache R0gue.

Found the cache with Crazy Lady Lisa while out munzee hunting. Very nice puzzle. Thanks for the hunt.
Picked up my first cache ever this morning whilst out walking the dogs with a work bud. TFTC. Can't wait to find more.
This one had me stumped for a while until I eventually managed to ascertain
the missing element !!!
Once I had that in hand I was soon able to decipher the problem and generate
the correct coords.
Have been sitting on my answer for a couple of weeks, waiting for the opportunity to swing by
and make the find.
Ducked into today, but didnt manage to avoid the storms, got very wet on route to GZ.
So was delighted to find the cache in the obvious spot.
Many thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

I messed around with different way to associated numbers with letter for a while but needed a nudge from a friend to find the right track. I was a long way from thinking of that. Quick find this afternoon on the way back from the city. SL TFTC
Enjoyed the puzzle and the walk to gz. We have frequented this area a few times of late and after waiting for muggles to pass we made a quick find due to the spot on co-ords. Thanks R0gue.
Did my homework on the first part a few weeks back and enjoyed solving the puzzle.
Pleasant walk to GZ today and then a quick find. Took pathtag.

Replaced with a new container with fresh contents. Hopefully this one is more moisture proof.
Admired your puzzle - enjoyed it... Lovely walk along to the GZ. Signed the log. Took Pathtag. Thanks R0gue.
On a very rare Northern Suburbs Puzzle Caching run... Solved this one a couple of nights ago so was very happy to be in the area today to track it down. Enjoyed the walk to the cache and then it was a very easy find. As already mentioned, all the contents in the container are suffering from condensation though, and deteriorating.
Left my pathtag. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache R0gue.

A great idea for a puzzle cache and the final was a nice short stroll down the road for me. It's a busy muggle zone but I patiently wait for the gap in the traffic. The cache and it's contents looks familiar. Cheers R0gue
Have been wondering when I would find a puzzle with this theme....although I did not spot it at first....great concept!...cheers ROgue
(Catch up log)We called in today to find the cache. Most of the contents were very damp. Chwiliwr placed the contents that we couldn't dry in the only spare bag we had with us and wiped dry as best we could the rest of them and the container. Log was OK in its own bag. Thanks R0gue for the puzzle and cache.
Thanks Chwiliwr, I seem to be having a problem with the waterproofness of the container. I'll think about what I can do to improve it short of replacing the entire container.

Since I ride or drive past what I needed to know so often, I didn't understand why this was a puzzle when I solved it this morning. But, on my ride to work this morning, I realised how it ties in with the puzzle and what makes this puzzle so difficult for others to solve. A quick find at GZ. I'm all for recycling; I can only assume from the slime on the swaps that this is a nearby cache revitalised. Thanks for the cache ROgue.
P.S. - I'd been meaning to source some appropriate tiles to create a cache at you know where for months and I guess, with the final positioned where it is, I still could!
