Hi
This cache appears to have some problems. It is the cache owner's responsibility to read the logs and check the cache to sort out any problems with it and give an indication of when it may be up and running again for people to find.
**The cache is being Disabled to give the Cache Owner an opportunity to investigate and fix the apparent issues.**
Once the cache is operational again, the CO should write an *Owner Maintenance* log advising that the promlems have been fixed, and to remove the *Needs maintenance* attribute (red cross) if that is showing on the cache page. The CO can then write an Enable log to return the cache to play.
If the cache cannot be fixed it should be archived.
**If there is no response to this log after 30 days the cache will be Archived.**
The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

Hmmmm difficulty rating could be increased. Lots of owie brambles to get to trees. Found perfect spot they hubby climbed up and pulled dead possum from tree by mistake. Hmmm think cache may need replacing... beautiful spot though...
Tassie Trip Day 57 - So another average looking day and it was decided to go for a little drive and start to clean up the area that we what is still near New Norfolk that is accessable so off along another dirt road and a drive back to a starting point from a previous find that I had no time to look for,
After a drive in the nearby bush to collect a few cache we stopped on our return to the base camp to have a look and after a search we found a likley spot however the nearby tree that was described look to have fallen. We returned the next day with a ladder and found only a bucket in the top of what was a perfectly describe hiding spot so the result is still a DNF for us.
Thanks Brokelux for showing us the location however it may need a little maintenance check on the location.

Just showing my elderly mother how geocache works...
Not a cache, not wheel chair accessable...

Needs maintenance. Found likely hiding spot and could just reach in. Found a bucket but that's all I could reach.
This cache hasn't been found for a long time [:o]
I wandered in anyway for a look
Aaarrrgghhh !!!
Blackberry vines !!! [:o]
I made it to GZ and it seemed there was only one likely spot to hide this cache ...
... and I wasn't going to try and climb up there
DNF !!

The first tree has been knocked over into the river. This is now a very dangerous spot. TFTC
Found with the geo-crew whilst on the way from Ouse to Hobart. Gave the geo-son a leg up and he got up where he needed to go but it seems that the cache approach is no longer what was originally intended by the CO. Many thanks Brokelux
We feel that this one Definitely needs Maintenance as 1st tree to climb is broken off about 1 1/2 metres off the ground and you would have to be at least 3 meters tall to reach it.
I visited here with the family ages ago and we struggled for height. Returning today to have another go we noticed the 'ladder' was broken (but still partially useable). I calculated with my height and agility I had no chance of grabbing this cache on my own. Thanks to my caching buddy I was able to sigh the log this time. Nice for something different. TFTC
The tree to be climbed seems to have broken off or it just looked too scary to me. So anyway I know where it is but didn't succeed to retrieve it. Thanks anyway
Had tried this unsuccessfully over a year ago. Today we returned and initially tried the wrong location - a great attempt by Lady membsec. Then on to another one close by. Quite slippery in the rain but a team effort and the use of native tools led to the recovery of the cache. Signed quickly and then began the contortions to return the cache to its home. Took several goes but at last successful. Great to see Lady membsec back to her best with this specialist requirement.

As promised I returned with my geoson to retrieve this one as I'm 5'nothin lol.

After setting up the geovan at New Norfolk, we set about exploring, and of course, chasing a few caches. This one included.
Nearly gave this one a miss - the word "climbing" to two older geocachers did tend to put us off, but after wading through blackberry bushes, and other prickly things, and not seeing any sign of slithery things, we decided to give it a go. Mr D did the climbing, Mrs D, glad that there was a signing implement in it. Signed at 3.15 pm, returned with a degree of difficulty. Thanks Brokelux.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
Staying a few days near New Norfolk we hit the trails today. Some great historical spots that have been shown to us through Geocaching, which is why we sooo love this game.

Had the day to kill, so headed out from camp to find a few caches in the area.
interesting cache, nearly let this one go as it look to tricky, but hey you only live nice.
Left the phone and keys on the bank high and dry and made the climb to retrieve the container
Signed the log and thankfully got it back to the hide and stayed dry

After looking at everyone else's logs we deemed that this would be a difficult cache. We set off on a Friday afternoon with a bag of chips from the blair street shop. After completing our meal at the table we set of to find this cache.
It was rather difficult to find. Mr TSJL decided to try and climb a tree after many years and quickly looked down to find the cache. Then threw the cache to mrs TSJL who said "oh that's right. The pen doesn't work" in which she had to go back to find one in the car to grab 2 pens incase one didn't work. Leaving mr TSJL high up to take snap chat photos of the beautiful views.
Nice cache brokelux well done.

Oh my..we located where the cache is and how to get to it, but the river is swollen with snow melt, and I'm not so limber any more, so will return with my agile geoson to complete this challenge!
I cant be having a green box on my sea of smilies!!

Liked this one a lot, lucky I was hunting with someone willing to climb! We didn't write in the log as the pen wasn't working and we unthinkingly didn't take our own. Maybe the next cacher/s can take a replacement along? Thanks!
Thanks for this memorable cache!
managed to retrieve it alright. However i'd definitely recommend proper footwear, my $4 Kmart thongs definitely added to the thrill of the chase

Visiting friends in Tassie and decided to cache around the Derwent Valley and surroundings, been a great day out , thanks so much for showing us your turf placing the caches here.TFTC
Well this is something different it took me a few moments to see what I needed to do but then it was a simple task to grab the cache and I had it signed and replaced without moving from the spot. I had to do this one on my own since the Mrs had seen a spider 50m ago and was not moving from the spot
Thanks for the cache.

We arrived and we are not young anymore... so no worth for us to climbed up there... anyway Thanks.
A bit of a different hide, and a little bit of fun in retreiving and returning the cache. Sometimes it definitely pays to have the advantage of height
Heading home from the salmon ponds. We stopped off to grab this cache. We made the short walk to GZ familiarising ourselves with the hint. The junior caches insisted on trying to retrieve it but they where unsuccessful so it was up to me to rise to the occasion. Tftc
I've driven past here many times with the intention of stopping and finally did today. I liked the picnic areas but didn't enjoy the blackberries between there and the cache. Once there I figured out what I had to do and could just reach the container. I loved this hide. TFTC.
Last time we were here we could see the cache but due to the high tide we were unable to reach it. This time was successful due to the low tide and Mr DnA's monkey abilities. TFTC
Hmm... yet another DNF for today. These old legs refused to do what was asked of them despite multiple attempts. Will BYO ladder next time. Or trampoline.
Clever hide. We worked out where it was but were not athletic enough to reach it and kids were too small. Will need to return with help.
This was just so easy to find; it was lying on the ground at GZ. The only effort was getting it back to the rightful place. This could be a difficult spot to get to when the blackberry and other weeds grow a bit. TFTC Brokelux
It was a predicted fine day and although quite cloudy and misty in Hobart it became sunnier as we drove west. The plan was to get a few caches on the way, do the Lady Barron Falls circuit and then the remainder of the caches on the eastern side of the Derwent on the way back.

Walking through that long grass wasn't the most pleasant experience as a couple of blackened branches about the same diameter as a metre+ long tiger made me look twice before stepping over. Found the cache easily but signing the log whilst juggling the container, GPSr, phone, lid and log with the wind blowing did make for an interesting time.
TNLN, thanks for the cache!

Hmm, very clever Brokelux.. I am not quite athletic enough to retrieve this one alone! - I will be back!
Found 3012/13. Family team day of geocaching.
Had to leave this one to the young and fit, granddaughter did the climb, daughter retrieved to cache.

We had visited this location about a month ago to get some appreciation of the challenge before us. At that time there was a very strong flow in the river and the water was well over the banks near GZ. Today we returned with an addition to our geocaching toolkit as we were not confident of our tree climbing skills. The Gorilla proved most useful and a quick retrieval was made. Although the contents of the container were in good condition, the lid of the container is badly broken (UV casualty?) and needs replacing. Thanks for a challenging cache Brokelux - a real sense of achievement once the log was signed.
After nearly loosing powder the polar bear travel bug. I decided to move him on to bigger and better things. Thought he would like to be nice and close to the river for a while until his adventure continues. Good luck powder enjoy your travels
After arriving at and identifying GZ, I thought 'no way', but then I tried and I thought 'way', and then I realised little people have short arms and can't reach, so I had to go down and get a stick and go back up, after which it was straightforward.
I didn't bring a DVD player, so I'd love the YouTube link if you could DM me.
Thanks!

Found with bogonghazy on a whirlwind 3 day trip to Hobart. Mixing some social outings with friends from over here and some time for reflection, with some caching in between. Not as agile or fit as my caching partner of the day, his frustrations of watching me get nowhere in my attempts to do what needed to be done resulted in him having the cache immediately in hand. Thanks for the cache Brokelux. Nice quiet little spot here, shame we hadn't bought our lunch out here.
On day 2 of a long weekend's assault on Tassie with Sully1, this was a nice walk down to GZ, where we spotted the obvious location of our prize. Being a firey in Vic, I was 'elected' to make the grab, and despite a slowly mending torn calf muscle, managed to get to where I needed, and was surprised to see such a good sized container. Adding a fave for the fun, the challenge, and the name. Thanks again Brokelux
Finally found this one after our previous DNF. As we were heading back from the Styx valley decided to have another look and this time we were rewarded with a find. TFTC.
Found on our school holiday caravan and caching trip.
Identified GZ and Mr T was unanimously elected by me to retrieve the cache. Nice spot by the river TFTC

A nice little spot to watch the river go by - as for the cache, the vertically challenged certainly have a battle to get close to this one !
No logbook was obvious so the red tag signature went next to GoldJ - the cache lid was also found on the ground but I replaced it afterward (possums would probably have been the culprit) !
Thanks for the cache, Brokelux, neat hide !

I found this one with a little help from a friend. But then found that the log was missing. Had to sign off on the Geocaching paper. TNLN TFTC
Interesting cache and certainly deserves it's terrain rating. Tftc

Hi Brokelux
Travelled to New Norfolk today so decided to have a go at this cache.
Arrived at GZ and recognised the hide almost straight away
At my age, this was a challenge! One slip and I'd be in the drink!! That's not gonna happen.
Arrived where I could get the cache and descending; I almost went in!!
Signed the log; unlike Alby; on the ground at 1145hrs.
Took a different modus operandum to replace the cache where I found it.
TFTC and taking me to a spot where I had not been before.
Cheers OldSaint.

Hello Brokelux
I was on my way to find "East West Junction" and thought I would make a detour and find this cache.
With the new hint I had no trouble finding the cache.
But, while up in my perch removing the log from the container I dropped it and watched as it settled on some twigs just above the water. So back down again carefully retrieved the log book and back up to my perch where I signed the empty log book and replaced the container back in it's nest. *FTF*
I'm confused about the name of the cache.
Some times it's better been slow getting to a new cache.

OK, you have achieved your goal, we DNF. It is a very dirty area and now we have to wash our clothes. Oh what a pity!

Went for a drive after work, spent an hour searching in all possible places except the river. Had to fight the blackberries, came out battered and blackened from burnt stumps and still no cache. Coords had us very close to river edge. We didn't have any ropes with us so the only other thing we didn't do was climb trees. Nice and calm on the river tonight.
