This is not the first time I have searched for this cache. But today was at least a success the container and logbook are in great health. super glad to have found it today thank you to the co for the placement of this hide
Found while in the area to attend the Rutherglen Mega Event over Easter.Today was spent caching with Davidwazza, FeatherWaite and Freddo. Logs were signed DEFF to save space and time. Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.
This weekend, it was a trip down to Victoria to attend [The Rutherglen Event](https://coord.info/GC9MH9M) 2023 Mega. Arriving on Thursday with a flight to Albury, I joined a few South Aussie friends, which consisted of e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, and Freddo.
Several geocaching series were completed, which included the Easter 2023 Wherigos, Brolga Bill’s Bike Trail (BBBT), Brolga Bill’s Puzzles (BBP), and the Ladders in Rutherglen series. I also hiked in Warby-Ovens National Park and completed the Wangaratta Warbys Challenge Trail (WCT) series. In addition, we targeted uncommon cache types, rare/unique D-T combinations, older caches (although not too many of these) and those with high Favourite Points.
We also completed several Adventure Labs (ALs) during our stay, which ranged from the Mega specific maze and gadget ALs, to sightseeing around Rutherglen and nearby towns:

The weather ranged from sunshine days, to overnight rain and dreary days, but for the most part, it didn't impact our geocaching as we targeted tree climbs on dry days, and power trails during the drizzly days.
We took a stop at this location, and fortunately, this cache was a quick find in a logical hiding spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and I picked up a Qualid pathtag as a memento from this geocache. The logbook was stamped with DEFF (Davidwazza, e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, Freddo) to save logbook space. Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

This was the last day of caching for Marchwood, Kiscardi and me. While we were in the area, we found several odd caches. TFTC.
We are touring around the area picking up some caches while at the Rutherglen event. Thanks for bringing us to these letterbox mail boxes . They are very cool Bettyboo3747. Found today with Agazo and Marchwood, logs mostly signed as KAM to save space.
Out caching with Kiscardi and Agazo. Signing as KAM.
Our last day and we were only just starting to discover this Letterbox series.
No more letterboxes for us though. Running out of petrol so time to head back north.

On the way to Beechworth, stopped by to grab. Another cute artwork. TFTC.
Decided to have a few days in Rutherglen before the mega so we could spend our time at Easter doing mega mania stuff.
With so much geoart and solved puzzles we had a great time taking in the delights and caches of this area. Thanks to all the CO’s who’ve contributed to our adventure.

Headed down to Victoria for a few days as a pre Rutherglen mega trip with The Rats and Wilbert67. Plenty of solving before we left and a variety of caches found.

Called past today and removed old broken container and wet log. New container and log book in place. All good here.
Round and around that one…GPS had me in the middle of the road! Finally found it once I put the phone away. TFTC and the series.

A quick find while staying in Chiltern after the Mega event at Wangaratta over the last weekend. Found this on the way to Beechworth for lunch. TFTC.
Out for a mental health break. Checking out the area and finding some caches. Great knowledge. Great hide. I had a great day out in this beautiful area. Thanks for placing the cache. Great Spots. TFTC
On our way to Chiltern National Park for a spot of birdwatching and orchid hunting. Decided to add a spot of geocaching to the list of the day’s activity. Relatively easy find once the phones GPS settled down.

Heading back towards Wangaratta following a day on Old Coach Road, with the Suscoe Duo, we couldn't resist stopping for another quirky letterbox highlighted by BettyBoo3747, around the north east. We have now found 20 of the 30 postal caches which she has hidden.
Our thanks to BettyBoo3747 for placing such interesting caches on the gameboard.

After a session on the Old Coach Road series we decided to head north to pick up a few caches on the way back to Wangaratta.
We were travelling with Phetlern and it had been a terrific day out.
A quick stop here and the cache was signed.
A nice spot and we have always enjoyed these Letterbox Art caches.

Quick grab on our way to Chiltern bakery with Haveanez after grabbing a few of the new OCR series. Plenty of muggle cows watching on as I signed the log. Placed some bark over the hide so not as exposed. Tftc BettyBoo3747
Found on a day out with Wackyweedos. We had no particular plan but a day in the bush was what was needed. We decided to start the OCR series at number 34 today and ended at 47 before returning to town for a very late lunch.
We were pushing our luck with hungry kids so we stopped for this last one on the way into the bakery. Had a few Moogles watching over Mrs W as she signed the log. We have another letterbox one to do just up the road, but it will have to wait for another trip.
Thanks for the cache BB. Cheers

Today we decided to make the best of the good weather and school holidays. We set off on a adventure with fellow geocaching enthusiasts- 2 Geo-mums and 4 Geo-kids!
3rd find for the day.
3rd find for the day.
Out today with old friends whom we have realised also share a new passion for caching! Such a fun day was had trecking from Barnawartha to Chiltern to the Old Chiltern Road, then on to Beechworth for some yummy bakery treats. W had many a climb, slip and trip over stuff, as well as getting ourselves lost at one point in thick brush. A full day 9:30am - 6pm, we came home exhausted but satisfied with our day of finds and adventure. So nice to get the Geokids out of the house, despite the consistent whinging from my youngest bloke after he scraped his belly on his fall from a tree. Thanks Georgenmoo family and thanks to those who placed the caches we found today.

We had lunch and left a sleeping geoson with a working geopartner to go and grab something for dinner. We took a slight detour to grab this one and its neighbour (which I could see, but not reach! I'll return for that one with a longer-armed geopartner). This was a straightforward find and geodaughter kept a close eye on my from the car. Who knows what the passing traffic thinks! Thanks for another great mailbox!
Cache is still where it should be, grass is pretty overgrown but the cache is still there and in good order. Thanks for the find!
It has a lot of overgrowth. We looked for about 10 minutes but were unsuccessful at finding it. The hint doesnt really help as there is a lot of trees. The box may have been moved but i dont know.
Found after about 10 minutes took us longer longer than it should’ve signed log book and returned hidden
After a couple of DNF's recently I thought I would check this one in case it has experienced cache creep. Container was exactly where it should be with GZ reading at 1 metre. Removed old log book and new log book now in place. All good here.
Nice easy find for our first family caching trip since restrictions eased.

Didnt find first time, went back on way home and then found, was overgrown and tricky to see.

Generic Log. Out and about caching with my friend Catnap777. An enjoyable day and thanking all cache owners for their time and effort.
A bit wet under foot today but found cache exposed but safe and sound. Covered it over a bit. Love the letterbox series tx
Going to Beechworth from Albury then back home to Melbourne. Beautiful weather today. Easy to find. Thanks BettyBoo3747 for placing this cache
Doing some caches in Beechworth and enjoying more great letter boxes - another interesting one. Co-ords spot on cache found quickly.

I like the letterbox. Found while heading home to Melbourne with Lobojesso and RJ. Thanks. I don’t think I put a duck Tb in here but I might have so apologies if it’s here and not in Charlie Letterbox Art just up the road.
Found this! But GPS pointed me in wrong direction! Across the road from the letterbox!
Stopped to collect this with Feathertop today. When I got out of the car my legs did not want to work. They were very tired from all the climbing earlier in the day. Very happy to spot this after the GPS pointed me in the wrong direction before correcting itself.

On one last trip in Sims_family work vechle with free fuel and we were off toward Albury/Wadonga to grab some needed D/T for our next D/T loop. We were also trying to grab a few extra LGA areas hile we were here too. Sudoku grid was also on the agenda for the day.
Nice find
Sorry for the late log

This was the last of the free fuel tours thanks to Simsfamily so it was decided to do it big with a Free Fuel Friday Tour to head to Wadonga to grab D/T, LGA and anything else along the way.
A quick park and grab while visiting the area.
Log signed and replaced as found

With changes to my employment coming up later in the month that means sadly the loss of our vehicle that comes with a free fuel card. To make the most of the free fuel before it was gone we arranged with Neville_devil and Ausfox; to head to Wadonga to complete my third D/T loop.
Along the way Ausfox; was also in need of grabbing a cache in this LGA and our detour took us straight past this little guy. It was only a quick stop with the cache quickly found by Neville_devil.
Thank you BettyBoo3747 for the smiley

We needed a find to fill in a spot on the calendar, so a quick trip for our closest driveby cache on another too hot summers evening.. cache found, log signed and returned as found..
Quick find with the geofamily as we headed to Chiltern for a look around and some lunch. I love all the letterbox caches you have and over a few trips I slowly tick off more! Many thanks for the cache.
First look on wrong side of road until phone settled then it was an east find. SL TFTC
#3120 Our last find for the day that provided a souvenir bonanza for us today (4 in total). Almost overshot gz in the geocar at hundred clicks in all the excitement, but managed to slam the anchors in time not to require a u-turn. Found the cache soon enough and then we set forth to take a looksee at the artwork de letterbox. Not bad at all. TFTC BB, is it just coincidence we saw the sun for the first time after leaving Beechworth?
Found at 4:00 PM GAFF1.
Getting closer to our destination for the day - Mt Pilot and this cache had a good "pull over" area for the van. Couldn't at first recognise any "art" on this letterbox, but then I noticed a small mechanical ornament which I guess this owner subscribes to the "less is more" concept
Thanks BettyBoo3747.

Our camping weekend in Beechworth got washed out and I couldn’t convince the oldest to wander around town to find Randolph burns in hellfire, so to add at least one for the day we headed home via Chiltern and quickly stopped to find this one. Another one in this great series and a very quick find - TFTC
Heading back to the highway after getting a ftf nearby we couldn't resist stopping to check out this letterbox and grab the cache as well.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for another great letterbox cache for us and others to enjoy.

Another weekend and another road trip, this time I was headed to Wangaratta to attend the next lead up event for the Alexandra Mega.
A long the way a had a few missions to complete and of course there are a lot of other caches to be found, this being a one of these said caches.
Another instalment on the series, I did happen to see a few very good letterboxes on my travels that didn't have an associated cache.
**Thanks to BettyBoo3747 for placing this cache.**

Amazing what people 'do to' or 'make out of' their letter boxes. Many a smile from letter boxes we have seen
