TFTC geo child is fiahing with mates nearby sk rhought i would fire up the app and walla.
I approached this from the nearby side-street of which I think is the better way to do this one. An interesting read of what was the historical old train station here, and a little sad to not see a plaque or historical sign. The cache was a quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [Slow Puncture (LJCC)](https://coord.info/PR7770T) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today turned out to be quite an epic day of adventures, which was in contrast to my usual Monday work day with thanks to flexible work!It was an early morning start meeting [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) at Mount Samson, and we walked in the scrubland finding a few high tree fishing geocaches. Following that, the technical tree climb [I See Better From a Distance](https://coord.info/GC6BNVZ) was conquered with a small group. It was then a northern drive to scope [Licorice Challenge](https://coord.info/GCA9J9Y), and despite having heard about its sketchy tree climb aka tough Terrain rating, it lived up to its reputation.I then closed out the day with [MeAndDe](https://coord.info/PR9CNGM) to walk the mud flats of Sandstone Point finding a few Little Birds. I had planned to kayak these, but this appeared to be a reasonable alternative. We detoured past Beachmere to complete the [Beachmere - worth a visit!](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/1920324e-f45b-4471-9c63-83e9302f835a) Adventure Lab, and made one last swing past its bonus cache.
A last minute decision to stop and collect this one on my way out for some dayboro finds. Easy to find, great coordinates. Swapped and signed log. TFTC
Post event caching on the northern end.
Taking my time to find more caches than on previous visits
Find number 29755 for me.
Thank you Slow Puncture for hiding this geocache.

Slow Puncture (LJCC) I found your cache Old Mt Samson Station on 1/4/2023, 2:45 pm. This is my find 4919 and find # 24 today. A quick and easy drive by. Placed a new log sheet in a snap lock bag. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Had been washed down so an accidental find. Relocated to where we think it should be.
No luck on this one for me. Scouted around for a few minutes, but came up empty handed.
#14, solo run. Log needs attention as logbook is wet. TNLNSL, TFTH, TFTC & TFTSF
Sandra took the geomonsters to the pictures this morning to see the Minions: The Rise of Gru, so I headed out to check out the caches over at Clear Mountain.
Log was too wet to sign. Left a calling card instead. A quaint little quiet village.
Thanks!!

Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while exploring the area Thanks for the cache
After a brief stop at the hall, we found the old station remnants. A muggle and his dog were nearby but just leaving as we walked over to the concrete foundations.
Still very windy here. Soon had the container in hand after struggling to find the best entry angle without getting a stick in the eye.

TFTC. We had just completed the Adventure Lab around Lake Samsonvale and were heading back to Bullocky Rest for some lunch and more caches in the park. We stopped here for a quick find
After attending the Mega Event at Dayboro I had a few more caches to find. Found it in the open on the ground so it was an easy find. Log signed and cache replaced as the clue said. TFTC
Dayboro Day, Final Day
Today we chose to retrace our tracks to look for caches we had passed previously
The finds were mostly along backroads. It's always good caching in the country.
This also included a drive to Lake Samsonvale to complete the AL
Thankyou Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing this cache.

A nice quick find but the log book is a little frail although everything else ok. TFTC
Nice to discover a little piece of hidden history here. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
I’d never have known this was a railway station site without this cache! Found quickly - lid was slightly damp from all the humidity and rain we’ve been having but not bad, considering. It’s falling apart, though, and we had a little cascade of paper as we opened the logbook.

Quick and easy find at GZ. Can't understand why this historical site is not better celebrated. Couldn't even see an information board or any acknowledgement of the history of the place. Such a shame but glad I got to see it. Thanks for bringing us here.
I’ve discovered quite a bit about this former train line over the last couple of weeks thanks to geocaching...
Thanks for getting me to stop here today...

Snuck out of work for a late and long lunch today, and decided to grab this cache. This cache was on the radar because it fulfilled another degree in the 360 challenge. Arriving at GZ I thought wow, what a view. Winter in Queensland really is the most amazing time of year. I had no idea what I was looking for, but saw an obvious hiding hole as I parked my car. Yes, yes and yes. Quick find, cache and log are in good condition. Quickly signed the log and headed back out for the next sneaky cache. TFTC - and TB visits.
Came here for a cache and ended up rescuing 2 horses from running onto the main road. Thanks for bringing us here.
Loved finding this one as it brought back memories of a wedding of 2 wonderful people I know nearly 12 months ago. Tftc
Kids loved climbing trees in this area. Thanks for bringing us here on mothers day! TFTC
This one had a 4 legged reptile guard on duty that was at the top of the tree when we were looking for this cache that we found today whilst self isolating caching, find was nice and quick. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
Out today with Chamad and Team Tyrrell chasing down a few caches on the far side of Lake Samsonvale for the day.
We met up at the first cache out by Cedar Creek and we all got into the one car and we headed off to collect many more.
We had a great day out hunting in this beautiful scenic area.

Getting out of the house for the morning so thought I’d go do some caching. This was stop number 1. Nice quick find here. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
As a Railwayman always good to visit 'infrastructure' even if it is no longer in place. Always good to see what alignment/trace remains. TFTC
After setting up camp at the Dayboro showgrounds for a few days we are having a wonderful time meandering around this beautiful area. A wonderful variety of hides and we love the creative ones. Thankyou Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Hi there Slow Puncture (LJCC).
Today's venture had us heading out from our camp at Dayboro Showground to spend a morning caching with Liz & Bruce. All up we found 37 caches & DNF'd 0 in this cache run.
Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache about 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Out picking up a caches today that can be added to my 15years no love collection. A fairly quick find however the log was wrecked so we added a temp log to the container TFTC.
At a friend's wedding right next door. A cache was in order while we were waiting for the bride who was running late. It was a bit of a marathon over to the gz as the girls were in heels and falling over them while me, the only man tripped over them. Eventually we found the geocache and claimed victory. Smoke a smoke for the lucky bride n groom to the next peeps who find this cache. We got back to the wedding just as the bride showed up! Winning tftc and for something to fill in late wedding time.
