We’ve been pretty good at converting the tricky ones lately, so we thought we were in with a chance. Unfortunately for us it wasn’t the case and we were left scratching our heads after a 30 minute search. It has been some time since the last find so it may be the case that muggles have taken it. Either way we shall hope to turn this into a smiley later on down the track if we can.
Tough mother Monday. First find for the day. Beautiful day for a walk. Number 1800 for me Tftc
Gonna go for 100 caches in 100 days and today was day 1. Such a great little hide, very easy to find but it was a great cache to start my hopefully long streak.
Stopped and watched a bike race on the track, great to see the facilities they have in such a busy city
The log and cache itself is in great condition and thank you for the ingenious way of hiding it.

A free day today and as I needed a day out, I decided on a long walk from Murrarrie station down to Meadowlands road picking up caches along the way. This was the first cache find of the day. I spied possible spots for a cache, until I found what had to be the cache. Yep there is a log. TFTC
with lunch time approaching and a work task to handle along with a txt from 1MinnieMoo saying she had finished work early, it was off to the south-side we went. After completing the work task. we saw that this cache was close by, so we took a drive and a walk to find the GZ. we searched high and low and eventually 1MinnieMoo found the well camouflaged cache. was a great way to break up a long work day ! Having scored myself an early day off work for the third time this week, I headed over to meet mcm726 for lunch and he mentioned having to come over this way to collect something for work. He asked if I'd like to accompany him for the ride and to grab a cache or two.
Checking that time wouldn't be an issue, I agreed and before I knew it we were over here (amazing how much quicker it is via tolls ). Work task completed we checked the map and saw this was close by so drove down, parked the car and wandered over to GZ, where we bounced from here to there.
Surely it can't be that hard, can it? It must be here. Giving up on GPS we just put the cachers eyes in play and after some more fruitless searching I saw exactly what I was after! Interesting choice of container, colour camo works well too.
Thanks for the cache geckomaster62.

After the recent wet weather we thought we might have a dnf. But! After some fiddling around and thinking outside the box, we had a smile on our faces. Tftc, cache is nice and dry
While hunting puzzle caches in the area, we (RoddyC and Gullivers Travels54) took a break and detoured into this park to find a cleverly hidden cache. Thanks for the hunt.

I came over to this one via dʒɪbɪt. Well I drove to a closer parking spot, then walked into this one at least. This one was a pretty quick find thank goodness
I extracted the log sheets and they are certainly getting a bit tattered. This cache could have done with a new logsheet, and a little plastic bag to help keep things dry here, but unfortunately I wasn't carrying any with me today Perhaps the next visitor could bring a new logsheet and a little plastic bag with them [?]
I did however find a place to sign on the tattered bits of sheets, and then I replaced the sheets and cache container back as I found it. All is ready for the next intrepid geocacher to come in here and find this one
Then I was off back to my car to drive around to a different park, and have a try for a couple of other geocaches before calling it a day. It was a lovely day for caching, but I prefer to get out early and head home again before it gets too hot

Heading back to the city after work and decided to detour down a side road and grab a sneaky cache. Was stumped at first with this one but after checking out a few things finally got there by good luck mostly. Luckily there were no muggles to contend with and as per other logs the log paper was full and a bit tatty, sorry didn't have anything with me to use as replacement. TFTC!
Here for the kite festival, but the call of the caching got the better of me.
Unconventional container, log does need replacing.

Hmm co-ordinates are spot on, walk to GZ Retrieve the structure's add on, inscribe what's inside then replace before retracing footsteps.
Note a new log sheet will be needed soon... **TFTC**

after leaving thè most important thing in the car. we walked back to grab the pen. signed and replaced.
teamdfl and I had a plan to chase up some Harry Potter caches today, but a whole stack of new puzzles appeared in that zone, and of course we changed our plans. Only thing is, 24 hours really wasn't enough time to get many solved...
Seeing as we were in the area, we stopped so I could grab this one. So much easier to find after lots more experience. TFTC, geckomaster62.

Quick find with geogirl. Happy for the quick find with the storm approaching. TFTC
Wow, even though it has been three years since my last visit to this cache with Ghostgums, I still remember the fruitless hunt at that time and was hoping that today, luck would be more in my favour... [^]
I wandered in from the nearby street, scanning GZ as I approached. Hmm, nothing obvious... I covered end to end with nothing sticking out, then decided I needed to "go there"... After adjusting my location, I quickly spotted the hide and extracted the log to add my name. Ah, not that's a nice feeling...
The log is in pieces and there's limited space for many more names, but it will hold in for a couple more at least. Nice to have this one ticked off finally.
Thanks for keeping it in the game and thanks for the cache Geckomaster62.

This was a lot easier than I anticipated, wished I didn't put it off for so long! The nearby doggie did a good job of alerting everyone I was there but thankfully I was in and out before I upset him too much!
That was a good cache....I had to sit and think about it but the answer came to me pretty quick. My best mate use to live a few houses down so .....the memories!
A not-especially-quick drive-by at this cache... on foot... so actually more of a slow amble-by! Took me aaaaages to find this one, partly because my usually reliable arial view was telling lies about which side to start at. As others have said, a nice soothing sit on the bank helped me to find some clarity. TNLN, TFTC
Found in the last place we looked . Bit slippery that waterway. Not easy to get back up once you slide down into the mud. TFTC!
I was a bit unsure about this one after a recent DNF. I was running out of time to get home and didn't want a long search.
So, when I got to the bridge I sat down next to it and reread the description.
"A little unconventional" hey?
I looked over. Oh, this must be it. Yep, definitely unconventional.

Had a good look but think cache blindness may have prevented us uncovering the hide. Oh well . Next time .
Knowing that Dirk's schedule was a bit too hectic to find a cache today, I planned my morning to grab a cache before work. The original location I had scoped out had no parking near it, so I had to quickly come up with a plan B. Being terrible at directions, I quickly became lost, but luckily I was so close to this cache. With time running out before I needed to be at work, I knew I needed to find this fast, but of course I happened to be at a micro. A bit of a poke around, before I spotted something looking very out of place. The log was in hand shortly after, and I was at work with time to spare. Tftc.
I was hanging around the area, filling in time, and so headed off to find a few caches until I got the phone call I was waiting for.
First stop was this familiar parklands
A spot I have ridden the pushbike through hundreds of times over the years.
At the bridge I poked around for a bit and wondered, briefly, if I needed to change elevation.
Hmmm !! No muddy footprints down there !!
The terrain rating was rather friendly too.
So I didn't venture there
Finally ..... a win for common sense
I usually rush in where fools dare to tread
A couple of minutes later I spied the well concealed cache
You beauty !!
Log book is drying out !!
TFTC ....
..... just then me phone rang
Hooray, I can get the appointment out of the way and go caching the rest of the day
(Which strangely enough, turned out to be a very muddy affair)

Our very first geocache find! The minilog was very wet. We dried it out and cleaned the cannister, thank you.
Log was soaking wet so could not sign it which is strange because it is hidden in a great device. Photo attached of the log for proof of find. TFTC.
Thank you for confirming the cache was still there Nursey. Came back today and had a rethink whilst sitting on the bank. I was in the dark at first, then a light came on (literally), and I 'stopped' at the right place, sat down and signed the cache. Replaced whilst exchanging woofs with the neighbouring dish licker. TFTC GM.
A quick dash over to this one and crouched down to retrieve the cache. TFTC geckomaster62
GAH!!!! Another Geckomaster DNF - had a good look around GZ on the bridge - checked over / under everything I could (nearly fell in the creek!), even stood back on all four parts of the bank and still could not find a trace. Why do I pick the ones that have had no finds for several months!!!!!
After a nearby DNF on another gm62 cache, I was determined to pull out all the Stops to find this one, I had no idea just how literally I would be doing this.
TFTC gm62, anorher beauty!

Great creative cache container. Almost lost 50% of the caching team to a slip and slide down the slope. TFTC!
Took a little while to realise we were on the wrong side but geokid#1 was on to it quickly once we were on the right side. Love the neat container. TFTC
Nice day out after an interview in the city. Short walk to GZ and soon the cache was in hand.
You never fail to surprise me. Had fun
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks geckomaster62 All good with this cache

A quick drive by with Tiki 3 and we thought we'd stop to see if it was here. I think Tiki 3's getting pretty good at this, as it didn't take him long to spot the clever find! TFTC.
cache find # 1466. As we walked to GZ, we were aware of a muggle sitting in the shade some distance from us. We found the cache, signed the log, and replaced it back, just as the muggle came up to us and asked us if we had found an injured animal or something. MrsGT54 was quick to reply that we were playing a game, as a friend is having a party at the weekend, and has hidden clues to how to get to the party, and each day invited guests get a clue to the party location. The muggle man was happy with our excuse for being near GZ. He said he thought that was a great way to invite people. TFTC.
Got straight down and into business, soon spotted something worth a look.Got it.TFTC.
This took a little searching as the sun was rapidly sinking below the horizon, under, over....
We started at the wrong end but in the end Mr. Herbz spotted the unconventional cache. Nice one. TFTC.

Checked on log. All present and correct . Still very usable, and plenty of space to log. Happy Caching.
Seems to have a problem of the log going missing, As there was no log in the in the cache.
Ladies day out caching today and we're all ready for our next adventure!!
We read a couple of the previous logs where it mentions that the log is missing...
This left us rather confused as when we located the cache, there was a log page inside, with plenty of names on it?! I was wondering if people weren't actually locating the cache but instead, were finding something they thought was the cache??
It is definitely there!! lol

Out and about with Lady membsec and Angela minus Dave for a ladies day caching adventure. When we arrived at GZ Lady M went one way and I went another, Lady M chose the correct side. We were a little bit confused by the last log as there was definitely a log in the cache to sign [?] Ah well.
Thanks for the cache geckomaster62

After a long debate on which caches we were going to do today on our ladies day out this one we just couldn't drive by. With Nyssaflutterby, Angel, minis Dave we headed for this one after collecting an oldie not too far away. We love geckomaster62 caches and this one didn't let us down. Clever hide but a bit confused on the previous logs as we found the log with plenty of names on it!!!! I must admit that I didn't see it straight away.
TFTC again geckomaster62.

Hi! Cache found OK, but log was missing. I have put a new piece of paper in for temporary log.
I think this is either my second or third visit but I got it today. I think the cache may possibly have been missing the last time I stopped by, but as I don't recall searching that exact spot, I can't be sure.
It's great to clock up another from the Geckomaster, and even better to know there are still a few more to find yet! TFTC: all is in fine condition.

Another hot and sunny Saturday...time to geocaching.
So I parked the car and walked 'the loop'.
This was the first find in the second place I looked.
GM62...your hides are getting easier.
Why do I know I am going to eat those words later today looking for your caches. [?]
Thanks for the cache.

While at Maccas with teamdfl for coffee and cake after a bike ride, she suggested I have a go at the three caches around the criterium before I headed home So I found myself taking the walk late this afternoon. This was my last one and I had no trouble reaching GZ, but the cache just didn't put in an appearance
Nice nearly fell into the creek trying to find it but i did stay relatively dry, still it was raining Tftc

Have immensely enjoyed your caches! Thank you so much . This one was as clever and fun as ever. Tftc and look forward to going more of gk's caches!
Muggles must all be at school this morning, so was a fairly easy find for a change for a gm62 cache. TFTC, gm62.
Another work day and another hole in the calendar. My GPS lead me to the bridge no worries, and I thought I had found the cache very easily. Hmmm. Maybe not, perhaps geckomaster up to his usual tricks
Expanded the search just a bit and soon found what I wanted. A fairly quick find, so enough time to grab a coffee before work D

Our gps was a little out for this one and we found something at gz that seemed to fit the theme of your hides but as it had no log we were confused. I was about to take a phito of it when hubby, who had expanded his search to where we originally were headed, called out 'found it'. Thanks for the late evening stroll

Great hide and thought has gone into this one. Found it a little amusing to find this object out in the open as opposed to where I would normally see it. Found with angloj. TFTC
Out and About with Sar Bear, Fairybum, CacheLord, DaisyLexie, Jelly_Fish, BosNewellgus and Mastamak.
This was the only find for today , the 2nd day of 31 days of Geocaching. A night out with a group of scouts after our evening of scouts.
