While Mr X was training in MacKay I got out to collect some steps and caches in the area. Parked nearby and gave it a quick look. Too many pine needles for me. Melbourne

Looked everywhere??? Guessing it is a fake rock. could be buried in the pine needles? Didn't find.

DNF, this section had recently been replaced so my have been lost in construction.

House sitting locally for two weeks, had to pick an area today for the touristy thing and caching. Mackay CBD won today. Planned to visit the Art Deco buildings in town. Searched but did not find. Not a fan of these caches. Had a coffee instead

After much looking... finally found this tricky bugger. in good condition.

Was right at the spot, but the construction fences are still up. Not sure if the cache is still there or not.

Couldn't access this one. High muggle area and GZ is covered by temporary fencing. Hopefully fencing is removed soon, otherwise there is a way to get around it if needs be.

out doing some hunting and decided to come looking for this one was bit hard on the GPS but after a bit found it place was quite so made it easy to look for it

Found. Great hide. Council bloke nearby and didn't realise he was there, was giving us funny looks but ignored him anyway.

Went there today after failing to find it yesterday and found it not an easy one that's for sure lucky the trees gave some shade with the sun hot already

Teamed up with karicka and family for a roadtrip from Townsville to Mackay over the weekend in order to get some of those caches that all have recently been published and to put a few more smiley faces on our map before our big move back home to WA. Were also looking forward to attend the International Caching Day Event down in Mackay which was organised by dandent and meeting some local cachers down there.
After the event, walked over to the waiting cache and after a bit of searching R spotted the prize.

Following the 15th Anniversary catch up we decided to try and scratch our previous DNF on this one as cache had been replaced by CO. Found easily, TFTC!! Didn't have a pen/pencil with us so we haven't signed the log but we took a photo if needed by CO. Thanks for replacing this one

Yay so glad to scratch the DNF off our list. This makes our find count 150, on the 15 year anniversary of Geocaching day. Perfect! Darcy was pleased to be first to write in the new log book. Thanks for getting this one back up and running SeekerVolls.

Can we get a confirmation that it has not been muggled please. Got hint from others and approx location and still no good.

After all these DNF's can it be confirmed it's still there? We were pretty sure of what we were looking for and we spent quite a lot of time. Unless it's been buried in pine needles??

Had a good look but was irritated and itchy from previous searches today so we gave up.

Blaze down the Bluewater Trail (No 4 of 7). Are you kidding? Daughter has renamed this one "needle in a rockstack!" No way. Congrat's to those who find it.

We didn't find this one today after looking for ages. An empty syringe wrapper was an unwelcome find, so perhaps be careful in this area as you feel around the ground. Will try again another day.

This was our 7th cache find in a caching run of 7 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9680.)

Today's cache run was primarily to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached, (which has been going since New Years Day 2014.) Our "next closest" route took us to some wonderful & scenic locations.

The muggles think we are investigating a weed infestation.

Gee this is a big modern flash shopping mall, found an almost legal park for the car and van, this was expensive as the geogranny was hungry and went shopping as well while I made my way here. Talked to the muggles sitting down nearby but made the unobtrusive grab, I'm sure I knew what I was looking for and yep there it was. Nice walking trail, will explore more next year. Tftc

we had decided to take a walk along here to get a few caches this afternoon so I loaded up most of the dogs and went to the meeting area. The geopuppies were too hyped up to look for this cache or wait for Puppylove so we headed off and did a quick circuit, When we returned I saw the beasty but it was a bit hard with the 3 of them in tow so Puppylove collected the cache and did the signing honours.
Mackay council has done a great job of these walking paths. good to see and so many people enjoying them, no mozzies either to annoy us.

Found while walking the dogs after work with mum

Had a day trip to Mackay today from Sydney to do a quick survey at the airport. With a few hours to kill before the flight home I went to find some of caches in Mackay where I have never cached before. Luckily my co-traveller isn't averse to the hobby and is happy to use the time to visit somewhere scenic and check emails while I find a container or two. This was the first of 6 for today, and luckily it didn't take me too long to spot once I considered the hint. Quite a good match. Thanks SeekerVolls.

Visiting through a travel bug I didn't find a container large enough to leave it in this trip to get the distance up for the owner.
