While approaching this cache I disturbed a couple of wallabies, such a great location. TFTC
Took the geo fam out for a walk today after about 15 min I was reminded to look for geocaches. This was the first, an easy find for Mr. 10
Had to step away to actually spot this one ...lol, I guess it sometimes doesn't pay to look too closely.
Out and about caching with daughter Shufflehop, this was the next cache on the map. We found this one quickly and easily on our 10km circuit walk.
Wow what a view geo hubby missed it but thanks to jaamc3335 and her hawk eye we had the cache in hand great hide thanks
Number 3 with Kpatt 17 - fantastic views but that hill was an absolute killer, argh. But it was worth it. TFTC
Out at this absolutely magnificent gorge with my hiking company today. It’s been such a beautiful day and we finished early so I decided to trip back up the trail to find a few caches. .

We’ve had a lovely little four day holiday in West Melbourne, finding caches and visiting as many vegan restaurants as we possibly can. The whole trip was planned because we’ve never been to Werribee Gorge or Lerderderg (we’re from South Gippsland) and they both looked like they offered fun bushwalking with plenty of caching opportunities.
There were lots of places this could have been and it was nicely hidden. TFTC

There was some debate on geoD's behalf whether to go for this one; I mean he is going to have to walk far enough as it is without having to venture further off the main track! (The views are worth it if anyone is wondering)
Love seeing a cache with an old log and all the finds on it! That’s what caching is about to me - leaving a little mark of all the places you’ve been over the years and sharing that experience with others. Time changes us all but the land is always here. Tftc
What a great cache! Thanks for the insight of your username too. How delightful. TFTC!
TFTC - out on a perfect day for a walk with team Crack "n" LeeLee, our aim this visit is to collect caches long the circuit walk. I've never seen a cache like this before, great effort.
Not only is it a fair effort to build a mudbrick home but to carry this up here!
A fitting cache and a nice view from this area.
The mudbrick was easily found and we could see the container was meant to be attached, however wasn't. Found easily enough though as per previous finder tucked it away for the next person. Which we did the same.
Looks like it needs a new magnet on the container, otherwise still in good condition.

Day log:
Out today with 2beez to pick up the remaining unfound caches in this beautiful area. We parked at the bottom car park and completed the circuit anti-clockwise. The hike took us 5.5 hrs covering 11.9kms including lots of stopping for geos, lunch and enjoying the views. Such a lovely area so close to suburbia.
All caches were placed in well thought out locations and good sizes. Left swaps in all.
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 and mudbrick for the series.

Cache looks to have been muggled as it was sitting in the open. I've tried to rehire it to where I think it was originally located.. maybe the owner can check.
Awesome view from this spot but certainly warm after the climb up the hill. Another good cache which I found quite easily. Lovely spot and is a little quieter here.
Thanks mudbrick for the cache.

Finally a break in the weather and a chance to do some caching without the fear of drowning or melting in the heat. Thankfully I took the option of following the track and not going cross country on this one, a bit extra distance but a easier find. ! TFTC
After a nice couple of days in Ballarat the geowife and I decided we should stop and do some caching on he way home. Geowife picked the spot and off we went. Planning only to do about 2 hours of caching we finally emerged back at the top car park 5 and a half hours later. It was such a fantastic day and the gorge was absolutely beautiful we thought why not just keep going and in enjoy it. TFTC

A muggle friend was keen to get out for a hike so I took the opportunity to grab a few caches too.
It was a toss up here, do we start at the top and return back up hill or start at the the bottom and return downhill, Down hill return won.
Muggle friend was keen to search for the cache, spotting the cache camo to make a quick find.

We finally made the time to visit Werribee Gorge and see if the kids were up to walking some of it.
It was pretty steep so we only did a few caches and might have to wait until they are a bit older to do some more.
Lovely day and so many people there enjoying the Gorge today.
Thanks for the cache hide, it must have been a few months since the last find as a spider had made a nest attaching the container to the brick! Managed to get the cache out in the end.

After attending a nearby CITO TheMclookers, gmj3191, SteMicMitSar and leafotwind and ourselves made our way over to get a start on this series.
What a very well themed cache, a few more of these and we could have some nice accommodation.
I feel for your back as to how you got it here.

Today I had to go to plan B so after the event at Pykes creek, we gathered the gang which consisted of McLookers, The Tritonz, Gmj3191, Leafotwind and myself and headed for the Werribee gorge and set about find a few caches. It was certainly a great walk around the area with lots to see and explore.
Another quick find and the name says it all as we continued our journey through the gorge.
**Thanks to mudbrick for placing this cache.**

We found your mudbrick, mudbrick!! Love the story too.
After assisting in a CITO nearby, a small convoy of gmj3191, SteMicMitSar, leafotwind, The Tritonz and ourselves decided on an assault on a portion of this beautiful area. Thanks 6Hinemoa2 and mudbrick, great hides and a great spot.

Melbourne Cup Day is here, which meant a CITO at Pykes Creek Reservoir followed by an expedition into Werribee Gorge with McLookers, the Tritons, Stemicmitsar and Leafotwind.
Tania had hatched the gorge plan and I was pleased to be invited along by an early morning SMS. The plan involved doing as many of the Wiindows series possible before our available time expired. The plan worked well, and we just beat the rain, except perhaps for Steve who continued on when we had to depart.
A predictable hide given the circumstances, but much larger than I thought it would be, and really nicely hidden.

Thanks for the origin story. I always find a story behind a name interesting as at the very least it gives insight as to what the person regards as significant in some way. Great hide.
After having attended the nearby CITO I was pleased to be invited along on a caching expedition by SeMicMitSar, McLookers, gmj3191 and The Tritonz. The plan was to find as many of the Windows for your Sole series as possible in the limited time available as two members had unavoidable commitments later today.

Walked the circuit walk and found this cache, as well as pretty much every other cache in the Wiindows series. Thanks to the cache owners for all the effort placing this series.
aketch1 and I decided to visit Werribee Gorge State Park to start tackling some of the more demanding caches in the region. We also took the opportunity to explore the area and take in the beautiful scenery. Amazing for being so close to a city! After a 4 hour hike and climb, we left the gorge and found some of the Eynesbury caches before making our way home. Thanks to all of the owners for their efforts, a great caching day!
How come I've never been here before?! What an amazing place. KETCHTHOR and I spent several hours hiking through the gorge. To be honest, our planning wasn't that great - we did alot of random wandering taking in caches on the way. If we had spent a bit more time studying a map we would probably have made the hike a bit more 'cache efficient'. That said, the scenery here is quite literally- prehistoric. We found a great place for lunch, by the river with the huge gorge walls looming over us. When we made our way along the track with the assistance of the fixed hand rails it did feel very Bear Grylls like. Thanks so much for putting these caches out. We will be back (more organised) to complete the series.
After having lunch in nearby Bacchus Marsh and dumping our kids with my folks for a few days we came here for a bit of a look and a short walk. What a magical place! Why have I never been here? Thanks geocaching for bringing this amazing place to my attention. Huffed and puffed but we got there. What awesome views! Many thanks
Continued hiking from the car park and and found this cache after a quick search. The hint was most helpful and found as expected. I am really enjoying the series! SL & replaced. TFTC mudbrick
A full day of hiking and caching with Team Justice. This was our 30th find for the day, far and away a record for me. Mudbrick must have some good friends to lug that up the hill! TFTC
A hike with half of Clint&Abby. Such a big mudbrick, it would have been an effort to get it there. Cache was easily located and in good condition.

Having completed the Werribee Gorge series on the other side of Ingleston Rd and thoroughly enjoying them, I've had my eye on the large number of caches in this section for a while. Today I planned to head out and tackle the circuit walk and some of the higher terrain caches but not long after arriving a phone call from work intervened cutting my visit short. So I had to change plans and aim for the short circuit walk instead. This was certainly good exercise with plenty of steep uphill sections through beautiful scenery. Lots of wildlife around as well with plenty of birdlife and some inquisitive wallabies.
It certainly was steepish, I can't imagine doing it with a huge mudbrick in my bag. Thanks for the cache Mudbrick.

Found with Pannaz89 and Deanosaurus. Didn't take the track instead walked 70 metres up the side of a cliff!
This was a quick find on our hike around the gorge. Saw some kangaroos jumping around.
Found this today with Posho6 & Arkbell80 on a romp through the Werribee Gorge.

TFTC!!!
As I walked to this one I saw a side track that I so should have taken! As it was I had a little bit of a climb but I really needed the extra exercise anyway. An easy find once in the right place.
The day after folk returned to work after an Australia Day weekend, I decided to use my extra day to explore the Gorge Circuit. Having done a walk to the Island earlier this year, it was time for main course.
Surprisingly spectacular! Sheer cliffs, meandering paths, wallabies and kangaroos, rapids and gentle billabongs - what's not to like?
Ah, a vanity cache! And why not, given the high standard, variety and humour in your caches! Well done!
And a favorite...
Thanks and cheers!

Hi there mudbrick. We found your cache "WFYS: Mudbricks Mudbrick." at 11:07:00 AM today,. This cache makes our find count 10087.

We are attempting to log at least one cache every day, so we can add to our streak of "Most Consecutive Days Cached", which we started on New Years Day 2014. Our route today took us to, and past, some really scenic locations.
We will probably take a few days to complete all the caches around the walking tracks here.
(PS: Please excuse our boilerplate logs today. )
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Novelty Badge.
We awarded this cache a favourite point for toting the brick all the way up here. .
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Well, the mystery has been solved. So that's why you call yourself mudbrick. Loved reading your cache notes, that's a lot of mudbricks you've lifted. Super effort and a cool hide !! TFTC mudbrick.
A climb that wasn't too strenuous- however would have been much harder lugging a mudbrick!

A few months back I was here with Jacko83 and dbelco. We found quite a few caches but took a detour which significantly slowed us down. Today, Jacko83 and I returned (me with Geohubby and 2 rather reluctant Geoboys in tow) to find as many of the remaining caches as possible.
The weather was mild. We parked at the Quarry car park and headed round the track to see what we could see and convert those boxes to smileys.
Our second find of the day. With Geohubby and the boys lagging a little behind, Jacko83 and I took the direct route to find this guy and then headed back via an easier path to find the boys.
Thanks mudbrick !

Another one we missed in March but despite the fact that my tongue was now feeling like a piece of carpet , I still decided to take a short detour for a look. The spot-on coordinates had me with the nicely hidden stash in hand at 16:35 and I was soon on my way back to the car where I knew there was a nice, cold, er, 'drink' awaitin'.

Another epic run with caching buddy Ahomburg. Today we found ourselves in Werribee Gorge which I have never been to before and was blown away by the many scenic views around the park. Ideal weather in the morning and the wind did get stronger during the day, by good luck we return to the car just as it was starting to rain and then 10 minutes later it was pouring. All up a 10km walk over an approx 6 hour period, with all caches found. Some impressive hides with some good variation in size and type, a fantastic location for caching. By luck we also caught up with gord_0 a CO of some awesome cache in the surrounding areas, will be back to attempt his caches on the other side of the river here.
Another found in this great series as we hike thru and round the park today, great variation in hides too.

Well, it was Saturday again and the weather looked like it would be good enough for a cache run with my caching partner in crime Sedgwick Dave. We decided as Werribee Gorge State Park as our target for today, a place both of us have not cached before now. We had a fantastic day, walking about 10km, finding 35 caches, including 28 Traditionals, 3 Mysteries, 2 Multis and 2 Earth caches. A great variation of quality caches in an absolutely wonderful location. We even managed to catch up with gord_o, a CO of some of the caches in the park. A big caching day, so apologies for the generic logs.
Wow, how did this get here? We both spotted something suspicious and sure enough it was the cache. 12M out for us today, but probably just due to the high winds.

This location must be one of Vic Parks best kept secrets. We are so lucky in Australia to have free and open access to places such as Werribee Gorge, where one can replenish the soul, appreciate a great array of natural beauty and of course find a wonderful trail of caches. The additional series which appeared a few months ago compliments those caches that have been here for a long time. All quiet on the home front today!
Satellites today had our GZ 6m north east of where we found the cache.
