Container was open and had got filled with water, somehow everything is still, good find.
I was following my phone to G. Z. When a voice from the backyard,as me to move on. and don't come back.. Second cache today,We are unable to complete.. Hope our luck improves .
I’m glad it wasn’t my eyes at play when I looked for this one last time. Seems like had to be replaced as it was missing. There didn’t seem to be too many spots for this one to hide in. Was certainly there this time. The drain is flowing with the rain that we have had. A lone dump chook was successfully hunting for worms with the help of the weather. It picked out a decent length worm from the damp soil, took it down to the water to wash the mud off before munching down on it.
Needs attention.
Lovely lady who lives behind knew where it was as she watched many people but when showing me it wasn’t there. Needs replacing

We are getting to know the cycle trails around Townsville, and quicker ways to get into town. Today was Market day so we decided to get breakfast in town. Nice easy ride into town, as as we went a different way, there were caches along the trail 'Bonus'.
Thanks Team Jeddell for the caches.

Total Cache Finds 12858,
Found at 10.06am after a stressful arrival to Townsville. After a 2hour plus queuing at Tullamarine to drop our bags off, as the system kept spitting peoples bags back at them, we arrived but my luggage didn't.
Yesterday morning it was off to buy essentials and await the news of the luggage arrival last evening. Still waiting for courier to deliver to our accommodation though.
Now we can do what we came here to do - cache. We stayed in the city overnight and moved closer to the Mega for the next week. After a couple of dnf's last evening and this morning, it was good to get our hands on this one.

So excited to be attending my second MEGA and to fly
to a destination for fun! And return to the tropics in an equally long time
Great to meet new faces and to spend caching time with some familiar cachers as well.Find #5394
A few days ahead to explore this beautiful hot city. So much caching on offer, and apologies for the generic log.
And so it goes, just happy to pick up caches such as this one. Thanks to Team Jeddell for putting out and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment!

It was a pretty descent find. All though it was very wet and I couldn’t sign the log
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
And another one bites the dust. A good spot and a convenient seat while you sign the log. T4TC
Quick one thanks for hiding and giving us a reason to explore your area. We put in a new log book to replace damaged one.
Found the cache easily.. probably a bit too easily for the safety of the cache. Tried to tuck it back better though there's not a lot here to do it. TFTC Team Jeddell.
Staying a couple of days in Townsville - after our last stay is over 10 years ago.
Sucking in all the nice spots, like this one.
Sorry for the general Text.

We were in Townsville Australia for the day on Holland America’s Amsterdam. We saw that there were many caches along the biking/walking trail along the Ross River. So we took a taxi about 7 miles out of the city and started our geocaching walk back to the port from there.
It did not start out well, as the first cache took us through some high grass, muddy and flooded area, and to a totally mosquito-infested area by the river - and it was raining. We did not take our repellent with us, not knowing how many mosquitos there were. On top of that we had to log a DNF, after a long but unsuccessful search for the cache.
We walked the muddy trail to the second cache and the mosquitos all around that area and it was still raining. We did find the cache quickly and moved on.
The next cache finally took us up onto the paved trail, out of the woods, and a few less mosquitos. By that time we were tired of all of the mosquitos. So Marbles walked to the nearest house, knocked on the door, and asked if he could buy any mosquito repellent they might have. The owners were very nice to us. They would not sell it to us, but brought out two cans of spray and let us put as much as we wanted on ourselves. We had a nice chat with them and moved on.
The rest of the day went much better – It stopped raining, the mosquitos stopped bothering us, and all of the other caches were either on or just off the paved trail. By the end of the day we found 26 caches and only added one more DNF.
Thank you to GeocachingTownsville for 15 of the caches in the RRPT trail series, OzGeoker for 3, choppersrule for 2, and the other 6 COs for their efforts and for their caches.

This cache: Quick Find
We found it but you might want to update it every thignnis rusty and we can read the paper
As previous finders have noted, this will need some TLC. But thanks for the hide! Greetings from Santa Barbara California!
An easy cache to get to and find but the cache is in a very sorry state. The log book is just mush and the contents of the cache need to be replaced with fresh. We signed our name on a leaf and left that in the cache as the log book can not be written in. SL TFTC
TFTC ~ however I couldn’t sign the log, see photo attached. Log is in ruins. This cache definitely needs maintenance as the contents were damp & rusty/discoloured.
Easy find which is good, fanging for a toilet stop. Braxx spent most of the time picking at the random foam deposits kicking around, still 3 for 3 for the day. The lad left a toy for the kids but didn’t swap cause she was pretty mank inside the container. Due for a clean up
That was draining. Found the same bit of paper the last treasure hunter added and logged the cache.
Hot day, wish drain had water i could wade in. Stuck note with name and date in bag. Thanks for cache.
Quick easy find on a very hot afternoon. Hard to believe a floodwat is needed.
Cache needs a bit of love come on log owner it’s not hard to maintain a cache. New bag new paper and would be an awesome cache.
Can’t sign log so left a photo.

Hi from NZ TFTC
Spending a couple of weeks in Townsville, this was one of the cache we found during our stay.
We felt a little exposed while trying to find this cache, thank goodness we didn't take too long.
thanks

JACS Team was planning a day to snavel up a few geocache that she hadn't hunted for yet and kindly let me tag along! It was an incredible fun-filled day considering I was suffering from cache-blindness and JACS had an injured foot! (feel well soon!). In the end, we enjoyed our time and are off to do it again tomorrow!
This was another one on the list which was located quickly. TFTC!

TFTC! Cleverly hidden! Right at GZ. Found with Geomum and Geopug. Was a hard one with parking but was easy..ish to find.
Nice area never visited in Townsville before. A lot greener than the rest of Townsville and the hint proved very helpful TNLN TFTC
