The vegetation has been cleared back since this cache was placed. It is now too open to the surrounding houses. Time to archive.
After just passing a car with the number plate DNFxxx it was quite obvious that something along these lines was coming. Searched along the hint object, but no luck. Either very well buried or gone.
Gave it a decent nudge in the torch light tonight but no luck. I'll be back. Cheers
This park is a short two minute walk from the grandparents. We have played here many times over the years each time we visit from Wellington. We were very excited that there is a cache so close, but didn't have time on the last visit to do it. But finally today is the day. A beautiful sunny, but chilly Christchurch spring day, muggle free and lots of time. Thanks for giving us another reason to come here.
Nice quick find thanks once Ric worked out the route ...and the rental car gears !
Another great find with Just-Lookin, while around the Christchurch area for the Mega.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

[green] My first day in Christchurch, having arrived last night. Normally I would head out each day and cache out a suburb, and so by the end of two weeks pretty much have cached out the city. But it is all a green field! I could not decide which way to go. So in the end I let the GPS decide. This is the first time I have cached in a city restricting myself to Garmin's Get Next Closest and seeing where it lead me. I started in the middle of town at the square and ended up at Riccarton Racecourse, with a trail of 50 little smileys behind me.
Dropped in an emerald.

Time for a couple of caches! I just saw a mum leave with kids, so good timing, as at a previous location I had to abort mission... TFTC!!

A very warm day today in a lovely location, it's really nice under the shade of a tree! Zha says it's a nice log book! TFTG!
I was trying to find a nice cache to leave a Trackable this morning. The first one was too small, the second was not there but this one was just right! Slightly longer walk home than I anticipated but never mind, it's a lovely morning! TFTC
found this cache on a cold winter morning. arrived at the University early to study but wanting to geocache lead me to this spot. a beautiful park and signed the cache with birds watching me. thank you.
After already being turned away from a park because it was occupied earlier today it was great to find this place deserted. A quick find under the watchful eyes of a tabby pussycat. Thanks for the cache
You always wonder with caches like these if there is a dog on the other side - there wasn't. Quick find in a nice wee park.
In Christchurch for work stuff but with spare time today to go and find a few caches. Another empty playground on this cold autumnal morning. Made the search easy for me. TFTC, Biggles.
Great little hiding spot! Very small container! Be careful of muggles.. There's a few hanging around
Nice quick find. Park deserted about 4 pm on week night. Thanks for the cache.
Neat cache, had a wee play on the playground, I really dislike those spiny seat. TFTC
Last find of the day before heading for the supermarket for some last minute Christmas supplies.
As I got out of the car, three children came running through the park, so hung back in case they decided to stop and play. Luck was on my side and they were using it as a thoroughfare and so soon had continued on their way.
A quick find in a now deserted park. TFTC.

Decoy dog obligingly headed straight for GZ when we arrived. She was less impressed that I tied her to a tree so I could retrieve the cache. TFTC.

I went to go find my cache for the day while the roast I was cooking for dinner was just finishing itself off. It wasn't 1 hour past sunset hours yet, so I went to go find a puzzle. But no! I had forgotten to save the coords, and they were written somewhere on a piece of paper at home... Tried the search anyway, based on seeing the map, but spent half an hour there with no luck.
Now though, it was almost an hour past sunset, so decided to come here, by which point it was definitely an hour past sunset. (Can you believe that sunset was at 4.58PM today?! It was sunset before 5PM!! )
Found the cache almost instantly - which was great as the roast was stilll cooking at home, so needed to race back to get that sorted!
Neighbours seemed to have some friends over or something, but luckily my eyes were adjusted enough to the dark that I didn't really need the torch! Only used it for a second to check the cache was well covered as I left.

No problems locating this cache after a couple of DNF's on other caches earlier in the day. Thanks for the cache.
Garage saling (where several caching containers were purchased) led us to this park. We pulled over to check C:geo because we thought it needed a cache if one wasn't there... but there was so TFTC.

Last cache for my Xmas trip to CHCH and my closest unfound traditional cache. Thank goodness it was super easy as I was being watched by movers and it was starting to rain.
