Logs
Found during a caching trip to South Australia chasing specific challenge targets with some easy PnGs or types to boost the numbers. Decoys provided a few options at GZ but once arrow settled on one, cache quickly retrieved, signed and returned.
After attending the extended brekky event in gawler, I headed off with sandelf & Jolly0 to visit the geo shop in Nuriootpa & to find a few more caches of course.
Quickly found by sandelf in the not so obvious spot. TFTC bructus

Clocking up cache finds for the July Wheel of Challenges, whilst working toward other challenge goals and milestones!
It's an icey wintery day here in Nuriootpa so I am extra appreciative for a quick find today, snails and all!

The talk of decoys confused me here - at first I thought I had found a decoy because the lid seemed glued fast, but after checking for other options I decided that I had actually found the cache, and that the lid would come off with a bit more grunt.
Thanks for the hide Bructus.
Thanks for the hide Bructus.
We have found only a few caches in the Barossa so decided to take advantage of the many options to search for caches containing the Natural Wonders of the World to gain a souvenir
Many thanks for the hide bructus

Found during a caching tour of Nuriootpa and the Barossa with Team Waldron for the day on a cool and cloudy day made for perfect caching weather. Thanks for the cache bructus!
Today was the Big Birthday Bash in the Barossa. After a big caching day out I wasn’t sure how I would fare today, but still managed around 20.
Really enjoyed my walk along the rail trail and then headed to the Birthday party which was lots of fun.
I then did some of the lab caches in the area but ran out of time so I guess I will be heading back .
Thanks as always to all the CO for the hides.
Was quite weary by the time I got to Nuri desperate for a drink was just about to pull into foodworks when I spied mogni and sit spectre so went with them on the walk to get this one. TFTC

Day 438 ( Monday 9th) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Greenock today. Out this afternoon to get a few around town. TFTC
Had me stumped for a tad.
I was booked into some Barossa accomodation for the weekend as I had a ticket for the ‘rescheduled’ Red Hot Summer Tour @ Seppeltsfield but alas, due to COVID it was ‘rescheduled’ again, March 2022! Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to have a relaxing weekend doing some geocaching and any DNF’s, I’ll be back to try and get you before 2022!

I don't know why but i "ummed and arred" about going for this one once i pulled up in the Geo-Mobile... "You're here... Go for it!" was my pep-talk... 5 minutes later after SL at 10:10 on Sat 8 Feb 2020, i was walking back to the Geo-Mobile happy that i did

TFTC another quick find on our journey through Nuriootpa today, collecting as many caches as we can.
Thanks for showing us this location.
Thanks for showing us this location.
After spending a very peaceful and quiet night camping on our own at Towitta, we were on the road again today, caching with ilook4geo. We have now arrived in the Nuriootpa area which had an abundance of caches. This was a very easy cache to find and both lots of initials were soon registered on the log. The co-ords were good here so there was no need to worry about decoys. Time then to return everything to its place and continue with the hunt. Thanks go to bructus for placing this cache.
Picking up a few caches today while heading towards Nuriootpa with goingplaces2. We found a variety of containers and hides. All logs were signed and replaced as found. It was a fun and successful day. This was one of the caches we enjoyed finding. TFTC.
A day of caching had been planned with Doctor Owl and it was decided that we would come to Daveyston and Nuriootpa as we both had a lot of unfound caches in the area. [^]
Well it turned into quite the adventure, getting ourselves bogged...and after being rescued we decided that we would complete the caches in Daveyston on another (dry) day and headed to the paved roads of Nuri.
I retrieved this one while the Owl distracted some local muggles who were having fun with their little puppy. They didn't suspect anything.
Thanks for the cache bructus.

This one looked like it was going to have to be missed, as a family was tossing a huge stick for a very excited dog to fetch. However, Owl was able to engage them in conversation (Muggle Deflection Technique #45) while JJ made the swoop and retrieve. They didn't suspect a thing!
Heading off to do a bit of cache maintenance. Stopped to do a few around home before heading to the Barossa where I met up with S.A. Sewer Rats and Blackadders for some more maintenance and in search of a few more smilies.
This was a DNF last time I was in the area doing some maintenance. Soon after I saw it was replaced and so was eager to come back and have another go. As expected the cache was located in the spot I expected it to be. Glad to get this one off the DNF list.

On the way home from Blanchetown this afternoon I decided to do some caching along the way, then catch up with Davidwazza and GeckoJ for one final cache before heading home. A nice detour around the back roads cache is all good TFTC
Reasonably accurate coordinates and the tell-tale signs of a hidden cache, led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks bructus for the cache.
I was joined by the Sal half of brisal for a rare caching day. To be fair it was a little caching, a maintenance run and a lot of calling in the antique and bric-a-brac shops to keep her happy. I got three finds and a DNF. She got a $500 antique china display cabinet. [B)] Caching is becoming expensive these days![8)]
Bugger. There were plenty of stumps to search and I looked in them all. The GPS settled on one in particular and that is where I probably would have put it but alas I could find nothing.
**Thanks bructus for the search anyway. **
