With a few days off work and not too much caching happening over the past few weeks, I decided to head out for a half day caching. It was a cold, moist morning but great to be out. I drove through the streets a little and had a few DNF's but I was able to make the find on this one, not where I thought it would normally live though. It wasn't easy to get with so many passing muggles, the house nearby and the height factor but i got there in the end. Signed and replaced as found.

Well with some hilarious physical comedy antics, we retrieved this from where it was left. Then we had to get it back, so a bit more comedy. Lordy.
I feel like the cache needs a bit of maintenance still to make sure it's attached right!
thanks for the cache

After looking at this previously, but being muggled away, I PAF'd and returned, armed with a hint.
Given my line of work, and the fact my vehicle is marked with large writing that gives me virtually suspicion-free access 24/7 to the temporary location, the cache was retrieved quickly and easily.
Having said that, I could see where the cache should be, and the relevant parts were at hand, so I have returned it to the original location.

Didn't find it, I looked at previous logs and I didn't see any wire either. I will ride past again and try.

Could the CO check this hide as all I found today was a bent bit of wire, container may be fallen inside, or removed, it not in place of reasonable access
Came here again, for another attempt at locating this cache, found a wire hook, but no container hanging on it, think this has been either dropped inside, or removed , it not where I think it should be, will post a NM as well
We had a dental appointment within a short walk of here, and arrived before they were open, so we had a quick poke around, and found the cache. Woohoo! Then I went around the block, to go back on to plenty road, to get to the dentist- who still weren't open.... then I glanced at the sign and realised .... I was at the wrong dentist.... so I went round the block again, to get back on to plenty road again, to park at the dentist that was a few shops behind the one I had previously parked at, but missed the entrance to the car park, so I thought "blow this" and parked in the side street that the cache was located in, and walked... may as well have parked at the cache and walked directly to the dentist in the first place... I would have been less dizzy from going around, and around, and around... oh hang on... what's this one called again...?
Doesn't seem to be in the right place, found thanks to a hint from one of the logs. Tftc
Thanks, found it rather easy. It boosted my confidence after few DNFs that were rated 1/1 but way harder. This one might be dofficulty 3 but it aint terrain 3.
And yes, the best hint is in the name! Thanks

Out with TreasureSeeker75, CharliBear10 and an array of other geokids. Had an idea where it could possibly be hidden but didn't have any way to get to it. Will return another day. TFTC anyway.
Previous log hint made for an easy find. This new position is a great spot for a cache. Lots of muggle traffic even at 9.30pm. TFTC
Found but clearly in the wrong spot. A hint to others... Anything around to make yourself taller?
Had another bit of a look here today, still unable to see the cache, but do suspect it may be above my head height, so will have to come back when I grow to 8 foot 11 inches tall, but as I am nearing 70 years of age, don't think that will happen, might bring my little granddaughter on my shoulders, that may do the trick
Found it, but doesn't seem to match up with the description correctly. Might need the CO to have a look. TFTC.
Found @14:09 #5491
With thinking outside the box I manged to retrieve and sign the log. However when returning the container to its location I knew it had not reattached and no jigging and feeling could locate the spot so I have hidden the cache nearby and have contacted the CO of the issue. Great hide a favourite from me [^]

Mugglers out in force tonight, made for some very interesting and amusing acrobatic-like manoeuvres, with the help of the fire hydrant, for cache retrieval. Definitely a favo. Left some more paper for logging. TFTC
Quick find but difficult to reach. Definitely recommend bringing a friend for this one
GPSr kept taking me to a place that to my eyes was as bare as mother hubbards cupboard, not even a bone for the dog, but without my step ladder it was not possible to look down inside
After finding our old Etrex 30, which we assumed was long gone, we realised all of our old finds were still on there !! Now we can finally catch up on all of our finds from our early days of caching. [8)] Sorry for the very late log.
Had a bit of trouble here, as the co-ords were out for us. Eventually the clever hide was found, I like it !! TFTC ELERT261419

Suscoe's 17th find of the day.
It was a very wet day to wander about this area.
Heavy rain at times and then late in the day some sunshine.
We came prepared for this with one of our tools.
Cache was soon in hand and the log was signed.

Very easy find, log book is full though!!!! Found a beautiful white husky named snowy
Scoped out the area and realised where it was, but couldn't get up there by myself. Also felt suspicious climbing up when the owner was right outside. Left and came back 2 hours later, parked my car right next to it, climbed on top and got the cache. The sleeve for a recent geocoin was inside but the coin itself was not TFTC had fun!
didn't find was it in a tree? We only had a quick look because there was a couple of muggs TFTC any way
Pretty sure I had the right spot but I'm a tad vertically challenged and had no handy height increasers with me, will have to return!
Good hiding spot. Tricky but climbable on your own.
Dropped Canadian coin Trackable.
Anyone going to Canada?

Found with StrawberryBetsy as she watched whilst I pole danced to reach the cache
Very clever, lucky for the loose bricks to give us that extra height plus a kid!!!! Tftc
Oh lordy! Small child required! Mine was a little heavy on my shoulders but did the trick! Full log book. Tftc
Found it with softicus, log is full... Love the location, I'm a little vertically challenged so just as well softicus is tall.
Wish I was a bit younger...Apologies if I put it back to hard. Thanks for the challenge; -)
School holidays nearly over so we were on a mission for new school shoes. On the way home had to do a cache for the day. Had seen this listed but only realised what it involved when we were in place and reading description. Fortunately, had geoson and geodaughter with me, so one retrieved it and the other replaced it. Thank goodness they are still light. Seems that ELERT caches are often above ground level? It is possible that some muggles saw us but biggest risk was probably a polite enquiry after my mental health! TFTC.
That was interesting the log seemed a little full wrote where ever I found a small space
Well, after almost 2 years, I FINALLY made it back here with a tall person and was able to reach and log this one
1992CF ~ Visiting from the UK to Australia for awhile to see family, now back in the UK. Catching up on my logging, sorry for the delay CO's. ~ The Lad.
Found cache with my Niece 'Loopygirl105', who is 8 years old, and also with her parents at times, who I'm trying to teach how to cache!
It was going to be a long day, especially as I'm ill and due to be catching a plane tomorrow, but the aim was to finish the day with the Oldest Geocache in Victoria under our belts, and it would be my 2000th Cache find.
Drive by this one, as I wanted to grab some on route to the make sure I hit 1999th cache before Melbourne's First.
Quick, Easy Find? Not as Easy as I hoped but with Loopy on my shoulder's and then stood on my hands, she found and signed this. I could hear her mother laughing in the car! Signed and on we went to get to the freeway.

Well having seen the cache hide and the number of muggles around I was quite happy to give this one a miss and carry on to another cache but lochb and G' of GJMMelb were keen to give it a go. As though fate would have it, the nearest muggle packed up and moved on so taking this as a good omen we quickly headed to GZ and when the coast was clear I gave G' a boost up to grab the cache. Logging the cache we had to wait for more muggles to go by and when the coast was finally clear again another quick boost and the cache was safely returned and then it was back to the car to find G' a band-aid... TFTC
Found with Lochb and Quit1_au. We walked to Gz and discussed how to do this. Q volunteered to do the grunt work and I tried to extract the cache. In my rush I cut my hand but got the cache out. We then signed the cache and then had to wait for few muggles to pass. Eventually we reversed the process and got the cache back. Thanks ELERT261419

Out with GJMMelb and quiet1_au today. This one was one - to watch! G did the climbing while Q helped him up. I kept a look out for muggles so this was an exemplar of team work! TFTC
Geo mum and geo kid managed to reach it in a roundabout sort of way ..! Bit tricky with lots of muggles and cars
MasterIschi and Arthur and Dent went on another epic cache run. We collected 17 of 20 caches including a multi caches during our 20 km journey. We want to thank all cache owners: we had a great time out here.

I have no idea if I would have retrieved this container as a solo cacher, Together we were strong.

A nice test of my long neglected climbing abilities, still got it baby! Had to watch out for cars and pedestrians, not to mention the loud racket as I climbed, but all in all a success. Good hide, thanks!
Out with son Funsize Manor and this was second on the list. Knew exactly where it was but didn't have the height or agility to scramble up a tall round structure. Will have to come back with a ladder for this one.
What a great hide. Tried getting by myself but there was no way. Luckily I had Darcy to boost up and make the find. TFTC
Small child required, good thing my daughter does gymnastics! Great cache, thanks!!
On the approach we spotted a fellow geocacher who obviously read the description and came prepared with a stool. We use more tradition methods. Let's just say circus skills with the geokids. TFTC. It's always fun to see others out and about catching.
Found OK (nice name!) but without a kid to hoist up and not really into pole climbing, had to return with a stool.
This one was a team effort thanks to Mrs Hp and we soon had this one logged. TFTC ELERT261419.
We scoped out the area and quickly came up with an idea of what we were in for. With a little help from myself J.D. Rose was able to come up with the find. Signed log and had it back again quickly. TFTC
This was second of this morning's cluster post-sport-drop-off on this side of town. I had been past here to scope out the problem on an earlier foray and with the right device today, I quickly had the stash in hand, signed and returned at 06:20.
TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks ELERT261419.

Out for a day of geocaching and an event with Earthbound Chief and Co. A short walk and a quick find. That was hilarious watching the retrieval and replacement of this one. TFTC
Found this afternoon with Kirstmac and Riddell after attending the nearby event at Watsonia Library, Kirst was boosted up to make the grab and just when we thought the coast was clear, a muggle car came around the corner with a very confused look on their face wondering what the hell 5 people are doing standing around a street pole with the smallest being hoisted up to the heavens.. riddell gave them a reassuring wave. tftc and the laugh.
Found with ~Lisette~ Huff & puff, that was a team effort with emphasis on the effort! If only my children could see me! TFTCaching fun!
Found 4:15:00 PM, after a brief find durong a lazy Saturday afternoon of caching.
TNLN, thanks ELERT261419.

Found on a nice sunny day, the third day of the fifth and final Ashes test match with Noelle 04. Talk about high visibility to muggles! As you try to extract the cache.
Found thankfully with Jimmytherat cause no way I was going to get it! Bit hard to be aware of Muggles on a roundabout in the open trying to climb a pole. My 300th cache so will be memorable for that reason. Thanks
We had considered this cache some months earlier but lacked the altitude support. This time we were prepared and the cache was nicely in hand at 6:20. Got a few strange looks from a neighbour as we approached with our sky hook. TFTC
Surprized to see it hasn't been found in a while. Nothing attached. Thanks ELERT261419.
After competing in a nearby golf tournament, it was a good opportunity to grab a few nearby caches in an area that I had not visited before.
Another challenging cache but fortunately I always carry something in the car which raises me up to retrieve these caches as I an on the vertically challenged side.
Thanks for the cache ELERT261419
