Searched around and looked I. Every hole and tree within 20m of GZ with no luck. Beautiful view and worth the walk even with a DNF
Searched for a while then read the logs and increased our search radius, but still no luck. Very reluctant to put my hand in the many little caverns to search where I couldn't see so give up today.
I searched here for a long time, but couldn't find the cache. The view was worth the climb though. Nevertheless T4TC
Took us a while to find this one. Read back through the logs and expanded our search radius and soon cache was in hand. TFTC
scramping & I were visiting to Warrnambool for a long weekend. We met up with Chook (ChooknChunk) at Koroit for lunch before heading over to Tower Hill. Visiting Tower Hill has been on my to-do-list for quite some time. I have driven past many times but never stopped. I don't know why, maybe time constraints. It is such a beautiful place and with the added bonus of a couple of caches to find here.We walked around the walking track along the rim of the hill. There were some emus shading themselves under the nearby trees. On arrival at GZ we commenced our search, being mindful of where we placed our hands as we weren't sure what might be in nearby holes. Anyway, we could not locate the cache at the given co-ordiates so we expended our search by just a little and located the nicely hidden cache. Thanks for placing the cache, tynajon, to bring us to a different viewpoint for the volcanic depression below.
Found with hevwalker and chooknchunk. Before coming to the area we organised to meet up to do the caches here together. With this one, we debated with taking the high road or the low road (tracks) and decided high this time. Wow what a view from up here, vivid blue waters of the lakes and sea can be seen from up here along with lots of emus who didn't seem to fazed that we were walking by. On arrival to GZ we spent some time looking at all the hiding spaces that seemed obvious by all of us who are experienced cache owners and finders and even looking at the hint didn't find us coming up with the goods..... whilst looking I swallowed a fly.. aaaah...yuck... We widened our search and eventually I was calling out, "Got it", it was 6m away from where we thought it should of been but we placed back where we found it in case it was our gps's that were out. TFTC and bringing us to such a beautiful view.
Chook was on an overnight roadtrip to Warrnambool for an event and to catch up with friends. We met up for lunch and labs at Koroit and then made our way here to spend the afternoon at Tower Hill. We managed to find a small track from the carpark and really enjoyed the views from up here. Found the cache after a few minutes, our GPS devices pointing a few metres away. All is good at GZ. A great day to be out here exploring and caching. The only muggle up here was an emu. TFTC tynajon.
Quite a few magpies along the way to the GZ. Fortunately they were all just watching us and not trying to attack us. Cache was found quickly after a little bit of search. TFTC!
Lucky last in this beautiful place..I had no energy left to approach from the bottom..but found an easy path to this cache from where I had parked the van.
In Koroit for a few days visiting friends. 1st time going into Tower Hill. This feature is pretty awesome. Cache found by my muggle friend - he's a natural. Might not be a muggle for long!! Many thanks
On a wet and cold day we set off to grab some caches perhaps not the smartest move when rambling up a step hill be soon we had the cache in hand and enjoyed the view, thanks for placing this cache
Hello tynajon thank you for the cache
Walked up from the bottom a nice easy find.
This was one of many caches found on our way back home from Newcastle seeing our grand children.

What a ripper spot for a cache. Loved the walk up here, the views with outstanding. Thanks for putting a cache in such an amazing spot!
Beautiful scenery at GZ with the ocean in the background and some amazing volcanic geology below us. We had parked the car at the bottom, so took the short and steep walk to the top to find this one.
Thanks tynajon.

Day 4 and it was the last day of my road trip through the south west of Victoria... time to head home to Melbourne... but not without finding lots of caches along the way. But that nearly didn't happen... *geocaching.com* shut down for maintenance in the morning... and it was only by good luck that I had a collection of caches stored off-line.
The modified plan for the morning was to find enough caches in Moyne Shire tick it off for the *12 Circuits of Victoria Challenge*... and then another 8 caches to tick it off for the *WCW - The 80/20 Rule Challenge*.
I approached this cache from below after completing the requirements of **How Tuff is that?** earth cache... and did this cache the hard way as it turned out. Oh well, sometimes it pays to read the Hint before you start out! No matter, I got the cache and didn't fall over the edge in the process...
Thanks **tynajon** for the cache.

Found on our travels through the area, heading from Portland to Warrnambool today. A bit of a slippery slope up here but great views. Found in the open so replaced just tucked away. Signed log and all good here.
Find #5180 on 1 Feb 2023.

Found at 3:57 PM GAFF in the company of Wollaston and Liz and Bruce.
Haven't been here since 2013 so it was time to re-acquaint ourselves with the area. Managed to get to GZ in a short time, but then trying to find the cache was a bit problematic given the slope and the many hiding spots in the area.
Thanks tynajon.

Great location thanks for hiding. Please could the next person take along a new log sheet.
Found it before starting the Great Vic Bike Ride What an amazing spot! And the rock formations were so cool!

On our way along the coast we stayed two nights in Tower Hill House. From there it was a 3 minutes walk to GZ. Took me some time to find the cache though. I don’t know why since it’s not too hard to find. Beautiful view but the weather was bad.
Found by The Empire + H
After a big stretch on the road, we were finally homeward bound. Another quick find here, whilst checking out the earthcache. The ducks were leaving their houses, heading onto the water. Thanks for the cache tynajon - favourite point added!

We had enjoyed a restful few days at Yambuck Lake and now we were heading home with the geomobiles packed and the geodogs Gypsy Girl, Teeny Treek and Mini Michi all nice and tired after their run on the beach.
The weather looked like it was going to be rainy all day and we wanted to pick up some caches on the trip home.
With roadworks leading up to the entry and a sign saying that Tower Hill will be closed (we assume for roadworks) from tomorrow we grabbed the opportunity to do some bushwalking in the cool drizzly weather.
We were certainly puffed when we climbed up to this one, but the view was well worth it and we completed the Earthcache on the way down.
The cache is in excellent condition, although the logbook is almost full.
Thank you for this Traditional Cache tynajon

We found this cache today while enjoying the local area.
Had no problem locating the cache and made sure it was hidden better than we found it.
Thanks for the cache!

I thought I could access this after the Earth cache and realise how wrong I was! Entrance from car park! Cache was open and had water in it although logbook lovely and dry. Tftc.
Made the short walk from the roadside park. Spent a few minutes peeking in all the nooks and crannies. In the end the prickle bush was helping keep the cache hidden.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Finally! After a DNF last time I came here, this time I'm wondering how on earth i missed it! Cool pathtag BTW Harrowang, wish I was carrying one to trade. TFTC, TNLNSL.
Found with Beavar on our ramblings on Tower Hill, amongst kangaroos and mossy pads, oh and a few rocks as well! SL at 3.25pm #8110 TFTC tynajon
During our extra long weekend, n0w0rries and I visited quite a few caches. This was one.
After watching the others ascend from the nearby Earth-cache, we discovered an easier route to GZ. Quite an impressive view from up here.
Thanks tynajon.

An extended weekend away with +Wife.
Caching through Warrnambool, Portland and sneaking over the border to Port Macdonnell.
We visited Tower Hill today after our events.
The last time we were here our eldest boy was in primary school.
Met up with surefoot24 for a few finds today.
Rambled up here after checking out the Earth-cache.
Cache in good condition.
Thanks tynajon.

N0w0rries and I were already over the worst of this walk when we went to GZ for the Earthcache, so we decided to climb the track the 80m to this cache, truly a T3 track. My trusty walking pole came in very handy on the way up and even more handy on the way back down. The cache was found quickly once we arrived at GZ. Everything was in excellent condition.

Heading eastward today, Portland to Warrnambool, it was largely a case of grab a cache between showers, even after we set up camp. The views certainly are stunning.
Our thanks & congratulations to tynajon for placing your first cache on the geo-gameboard.

Hole in one . All good. Great views of lake and rock strata. Approached from below on steep but doable gravel track. Good to see rock layers up close.
I visited this cache over 12 months ago and signed the log but forgot to log it here. I visited it again today and found the cache still in place! Thanks for a good cache tynajon.
This took us a little while to find. Muggle husband came up with the goods after spying something not quite right. Bless him.
A 5 day caching run, over the 2020/2021 New year period saw me leave on the Thursday the 31st of December and travel to the Brisbane Ranges, down to Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Portland, the up to Heywood, Dunkfield and Horsham, camping along the way. On the Saturday I met up with my caching partner, ilukaperi at the home of choocknchunk, where we spread the coronavirus around as much as we could. Enjoyed some 4wding around the Mt Cole area before making our way back home on the Monday.
So I spent New Year’s Eve by myself on the shores of Lake Elingamite, sipping on a glass (or plastic cup) of red wine and watching the sunset on 2020. Good riddance I say! I got up early and cached my way from there, through Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Portland before finding my camp for the night at Annya Camp. A lot of variety of cache types and some good ground covered too.
Loved the walk to this cache. The striking black layer of tephra from volcanic eruptions in the nearby sedimentary rock caught my eye too. I can feel an earth cache coming on I think! Cache was found easily and was in good condition. TFTC

I always enjoy a walk and this was no exception. It was interesting checking out the layers of rock up close

Family adventure to check out the cache and views. Cache in good working order. Merry Christmas! tynajon
Actually found on 22/11. As a little extra surprise I also found a seat to sit and admire the view from.
Don't know how I didn't go A over T negotiating the challenging track. Log a bit damp so put it in a bag. Tftc
I loved your cache placement. A nice stroll up the steep track. Fabulous landscape. Fav point.
Nice walk from the entry car park on a brisk sunny morning cache quickly found picked up the TB, log signed and replaced as found. TFTC

Today we visited Tower Hill NP. In addition to 5 geocaches we saw 4 koalas, turtles, emus and kangaroos. It was a great day and we loved being here. Thank you to the owners for the caches.

Took nothing, left nothing.

Lots of rabbits and their diggings but still found the cache tftc. Great location
A very cold wild windy and rainy day but we were successful in retrieving the cache. TFTC
Found with Niza5678 on a cold winters day out. An unexpected guest in the hide, a little worse for wear ️
Awesome views up here. We took the hard way up. Now we just have to navigate back down!!! TFTC
Wow!! What an awesome spot!! It’s windy and cold but so sheltered here!!! Beautiful!! Found, signed, replaced and off again!! TFTC!
Live nearby and have been to Tower Hill countless times but only realised while doing this cache with geokid that i have never stopped and spent the time to look at these fantasic cliffs!!! So thankyou for giving me an excuse to do just that! No pen in the cache!
Wet and windy today but still worth the exercise. took the high road to this one. Cache intact nino… thankyou for the adventure.
Another cache we missed with our first visit here a few months ago. This time we parked and walked up the track. Great rock formations and at the top, good views of the amazing rock. The find was easily located but time taken to ensure no guardians of the cache were about.....
Thanks,
